"Diving with friends" is the slogan of this school. That is the feeling I had from the start on. Very professional and experienced but, at the same time, funny and practical. Clases were in German but if I needed I received also a few explanations in Spanish or English, as he aims to help that people understand and all-over learn (and German is not always easy!). We had clases in small groups or individual, which give the oportunity to clear better all doubts and creates security in yourself as well as learn how to respect the nature in all dimentions, for the own security, the security of diving colleagues and the environment. After having my certificate I was diving without problems at the first time in the caribic ocean (in Cuba!) and I felt so sure of myself because I received a very good basis in the clases and practical diving. Sea Sub is highly recommended for several reasons: Uli is very competent and has decades of experience as a diving instructor. He is always patient and sensitive and very flexible when it comes to making appointments. On the other hand, he is very precise and always makes sure that all participants have understood everything: Safety first! If you want to learn to dive, this is the place for you!

I was pleasantly surprised on the first call. Uli is an incredibly enthusiastic person who loves diving with heart and soul and infects everyone who dives with him for the first time with this enthusiasm. Or go diving together for fun. The theory places a lot of emphasis on medicine/first aid and physical principles, which can seem daunting at first, but turns out to be invaluable knowledge in hindsight as you can adapt to any diving situation imaginable. Uli conducts the lessons in a refreshingly relaxed and familiar way, people used to use first names on the phone and you can't help but like him. However, safety under water and especially on the water surface is never neglected, which ensures a feeling of security and trust, especially for beginner divers and insecure people. And that is incredibly important when learning to dive! In practice it happens calmly and step by step; You will be safely introduced to the equipment and its composition and familiarized with every screw and every valve so that after the diving course you can use any equipment with confidence. The days in the lakes were a real eye-opener for me to the beauty under water, which I had previously only experienced while snorkeling, and I also lost my fear of catfish, thanks for that Uli!! 🤗💕 This course was an incredibly enriching experience for me, and from a purely price point of view you can't complain at all! I would recommend everyone to do their Open Water Diver here instead of being shown how to breathe underwater for a few hours on vacation for a horrendous tourist surcharge. I will definitely come back for another course! I hope this review is helpful for anyone who is still unsure about whether they are suitable for diving. My answer: anyone can dive, provided they don't have any serious illnesses.

The diving course with Uli was very well organized, interesting, entertaining and a lot of fun. He is very flexible, fast and accommodating, but also very precise and to the point. Thank you for the good training!

We absolutely loved the OWD course! We had a lot of fun and learned a lot! It's just great how much joy and at the same time seriousness with which Uli and his team approach everyone individually when it comes to important topics. Uli is a very attentive and experienced diving instructor. He takes all the time in the world to prepare you for the relevant topics, dives and more. I will definitely go to SeaSub again the next time I upgrade my diving license. :) Thank you Uli!

My friend and I were looking for diving classes in English as we both aren’t German speakers. Uli, has been a great teacher . Not only is he passionate about diving but he also transmits his passion to his students. Everything from the theoretical classes to the practice lessons were perfect. Uli was very patient, made me at ease during my first dive at the pool. And was very accommodating about dates and planning the classes. (+ he is very personable :) ) I would 100% recommend his classes to any one looking to learn diving.

The rating(s) and mine are absolutely justified with all the stars! What it already says here is really true: Uli is a very good, always calm and relaxed (but alert), super-experienced diving instructor. All questions will be answered and equipment can be tried out, including top advice. Concerns and problems are taken seriously and dealt with individually, you are never left alone and are given instructions to be able to deal with any problems in the future. I am glad to have found this diving instructor. Big praise and thank you!!!

Great lessons, Uli is always prepared and simply a top diving instructor who can also give you great advice beyond the lessons. It was fun and you could learn a lot. I would be happy to continue here in the future!

The theory and the dives with Uli were incredibly fun. You can tell that he lives for diving and that's exactly how he conveys it, so that even "dry" theory lessons are made lively by his diving experiences. Definitely not his last dive ;-)
