We waited a long time for our food. We watched tables come after us, order food, eat and almost leave… When we asked how long it will take the waitress said it will come soon- and that the kitchen was confused with a bunch of take out orders. Finally when the food came, the order was not fulfilled correctly. We were offered no apologies and no compensation for the poor service. The food itself was just fine. My boyfriend ordered one of the more expensive dishes and the broth wasn’t so flavorful. Very disappointing. We are both fans of Takumi in Düsseldorf and are sad to see this branch doesn’t carry the same quality. I know they just opened, hopefully it gets better. The team seemed hard working and were friendly. Be careful with all the positive reviews. When you scan the review card at the table, only positive reviews go to google and the bad reviews are bounced to a private form that is then sent to just themselves. I find this a bit shady.

The ramen is really good, the gyozas were cold and was nothing special. It's the second time I eat here and both times I had to wait 1 hour to get the food because it was forgotten, the process they use from giving the order to the kitchen definitely doesn't work. The local smells like fried oil, your clothes will stink for at least one week.

Sehr schöner neuer Takumi in Köln! Tolles und besonders leckeres Essen. Wir haben unsere Favoriten, aber probiert euch unbedingt durch die Karte. Viel Auswahl und sehr leckere Sachen dabei. Großes Angebot an Zusätzen die man nehmen kann zu seinen Gerichten. Immer wieder gerne!

For a Tonkotsu Ramen, the broth was very light and adjusted to the German taste. It's hard to find proper Ramen in Köln, but this one is below average in comparison to other places. Kirin on tap was nice.

I am so happy that we have a ramen place in Nippes! I’ve been here now a number of times and am always happy. The food is delicious and portions are good. I get the vegetarian miso with some add-ons (even though I eat meat) and the broth is FANTASTIC. The only thing is I wish they would open a window or door to get some fresh air in.. it can get steamy from the cooking :)

Love having a Takumi opened in Nippes! The ramen was delicious, the gyoza great, and the Hauses Eistee amazing - especially how they bring it to you complimentary. The staff was very warm and accommodating. Clean, bright, vibrant interior. It’s only going to get busier and be a really popular spot here in Nippes.

We ate as family with 1 kid and a baby, was comfortable and food was really good, happy to have a takumi in the neighbourhood :)

Very good ramen!

One of the best Ramen chains in Germany. It deals like you’re in a ramen place in Japan. And the prices are adorable.

Very good food. We had the Tantanmen with fried chicken and and teriyaki chicken curry rice, which came with a side of Miso soup. Great flavor. The tantanmen was marked as spicy and was a great spice level. Overall, very satisfied.
