😠 If you want to lose your time you can enjoy it here. Otherwise it doesn't worth it at all. The trainer's are just bunch of regular training kid's who doesn't have much experience with Martial Arts... in most of the trainings can't even sweat. And not many training partner's no sparing's in MMA no po... People often mention training, studio, techniques, time, great, beginner,

If you want to lose your time you can enjoy it here. Otherwise it doesn't worth it at all. The trainer's are just bunch of regular training kid's who doesn't have much experience with Martial Arts... in most of the trainings can't even sweat. And not many training partner's no sparing's in MMA no possibillity to train in many classes (even the conctract say you can train in any class you want) no explosive training 30 minute worm up and 10 grapling technik's for 30 minutes... 🥴🥴(weirdest one posible) and training is over don't even need to put mouth protector or glove's on.If you complain you will get angry look's and attacked. MMA training is BJJ,Wrestling is BJJ and mostly BJJ training is here.(MMA striking is Kickbox) is not mixup at all.Why do they even call it MMA Cage..And most important it's sucha negative enviroment..

Very large, clean and pleasant martial arts studio. The training partners I've gotten to know so far have been very pleasant and have adjusted to the level and level of knowledge of the other person. I can't say anything negative about the trainers and I'm convinced of their commitment. In addition, Filip, as studio manager, is extremely accommodating and always helpful - these points round off the Cage in Niehl as an excellent martial arts studio for me.

I wanted to write the review last week, but then I saw the other bad reviews with similar criticism and the Cage management even responded to them, so I didn't write anything and wanted to see how the whole thing developed first. I've attended several courses in a week now and I have to say that nothing has changed when it comes to striking. Still endless warm-ups, a bit of fitness boxing, outstandingly short sparring and working out. Where are combinations practiced, defensive behavior and counterattacks trained or, for that matter, special kicks practiced? It can't be the case that every other studio can beat this in an hour and you can't do it here, even though you present yourself as a premium studio. I know these are beginner courses, but I'm just comparing the beginner courses here with the beginner courses from other studios.

Hello, I have been registered at CageMMA Cologne in Niehl for about a year and have been taking part in BJJ training with Tim for almost 6 months. I would like to leave positive feedback at this point: - Tim's courses are very well structured. - There are very detailed explanations with good memory aids and funny anecdotes. - Especially the speed with which the comprehensive topics such as basic wrestling, take-downs, back attacks & defense, submissions from full guard, half guard & mount defense, side control escapes, wrestle-ups or defensive positions such as running man & turtle ( to name just a few) is great: a lot of topics are covered, so you don't have the feeling of having to learn the same methods forever, but at the same time there is enough time to repeat and optimize the techniques, for example with intelligent ones Drills or free training time. - Tim responds to all participants - regardless of experience - answers questions and gives tips at the right points in order to make connections between previously learned and new techniques. - He prepares good combinations of techniques, such as kimura from full guard and hip bump from full guard or running man and turtle, which complement each other perfectly. - But it also provides inspiration for making connections between techniques and becoming creative. - I have taken part in a few competitions in the last few weeks where I could rely on great coaching from Tim! Conclusion: 10 out of 10 crowns for Tim and therefore also for the cage! However, I would like to make a suggestion for improvement at this point: The sinks offer the possibility of refilling drinking water. However, not all bottles fit under the low taps. I would like to encourage you to think about a water dispenser or something similar. That would be a great thing! Otherwise: keep it up and best wishes!

I've been training BJJ here three times a week for over a year and am learning a lot. Initially we had various excellent trainers in NoGi. Tim has been leading the three sessions per week for about six months. His knowledge and passion for BJJ is outstanding and his taste in music is second to none. His teaching methods are clear, structured and easy to understand. He always takes the time to give individual feedback and support students on a personal level. Tim creates a friendly and motivating atmosphere in training that allows everyone to reach their full potential. I can highly recommend it, whether you are a beginner or an advanced user. If you are looking for a BJJ trainer who can take you to the next level, then Tim is the perfect choice! The studio itself is also great, the training area offers plenty of space. However, I would like it to be cleaned daily.

I went into the boxing training with very high expectations and was unfortunately disappointed. The website advertises that it is beginner friendly and makes you think you are being introduced to boxing as a beginner. Unfortunately I thought wrong. You come into the beginners course and no consideration is given to the fact that you have never boxed before or that you do not know the technical language. Furthermore, one would think that the trainers wouldn't directly punch a rather thin young woman with all their strength without first explaining how to block punches or defend themselves. Unfortunately, I thought wrong again. I think you're better off as an advanced boxer. The equipment is great and the studio is very modern

I highly recommend the Bjj class at this gym. The course is suitable for both beginners and advanced learners and the trainer teaches with great detail so that you can learn even complicated techniques step by step. From him you can learn the basic 'flow' of BJJ and other cool techniques that you also see in professional competitions. The people who come to training are also very nice. That's why I go to Niehl three times a week, even though I live near Weiden!!

Very good No Gi training. The coach is an active competitor at a very high level and designs the training accordingly. Only effective and state-of-the-art techniques are taught and he also takes time outside of training times to answer questions regarding techniques.

My son has only been registered for a short time, but even during the trial training it was crystal clear to us that there couldn't be a better studio for us than this! From the beginning everyone was very friendly and we immediately had a professional impression, which means I can be sure that my son will learn a lot and that it will be great :) 5 stars simply deserved!!
