A new day, a new restaurant to visit. As I mentioned elsewhere, there are small pearls to be found in our Veedel This is one of them. Having been here for a long time, it has found its regular audience and every guest is warmly welcomed. The good thing is that everyone can stop here for lunch. A small menu and a daily special mean that everyone can find something. The owner(s) cook themselves and it is tasty. The beer is delicious. You immediately feel comfortable and can enjoy yourself. Secretly listen to the counter guests and then enjoy the freshly prepared food. But be careful in the evening, because there are few tables, you should check beforehand whether it is free. The schnitzels were well prepared and I will definitely find my way back here. The service was friendly and accommodating. The price-performance ratio is perfectly fine.

We ended up there by chance and were greeted with really tasty food and good, friendly service. The menu is not for Michelin, but for anyone who likes a fresh and tasty schnitzel. The atmosphere is appropriate for a pub, but still a bit rustic. Nice, home-style shop.

Finally, after over 30 years of looking for a really delicious looking JägerSauce, I found what I was looking for. By chance I came to this very old pub in Cologne, ordered Jägerschnitzel and was blown away. I've been looking for a really good one for 30 years tasty hunter's sauce and this homemade sauce puts everything to shame. The service is quick, attentive and very friendly, the food is actually cooked by hand and no bags are torn open. Unfortunately I have to drive 60km to be able to enjoy the sauce, but I've already enjoyed doing it twice and will stop there more often in the future. A TOP recommendation from me and please don't change anything in the sauce recipe, thank you very much
