Went here twice, both times were good experiences. They have a lot of options for cocktails and it’s not too expensive. If you like pina colada’s, you should definitely visit this place and try the regular pina colada, the swimming pool cocktail and the moidels flash. The swimming pool is a creamy pina-like cocktail with blue curaçao. The moidels flash is a jumbo cocktail (meaning 0,5l), which is basically a pina with lemon and extra alcohol (wodka, gin). Food was okay. It was tasty, but nothing too special. It’s a good idea if you wish to try typical German dishes like schnitzel but aren’t too hungry. Portions are mid, but it is cheap. They have lots of options, also basics like burgers and pizza’s. I’d recommend the kartoffelnburger ohne bun. It’s a burger without buns, but with a German version of ‘rösti’ instead. It’s not expensive here, even though it’s close to the city centre. Service was polite, didn’t have to wait too long.

Wir waren heute im Extrablatt brunchen. Die Bedienung war ausgezeichnet und sehr zuvorkommend. Besonders gut gefallen haben uns die großen Getränke. Essen war ausgesprochen solide und für 13€ ein super Preis-Leistungsverhältnis Wir kommen gerne wieder. Liebe Grüße

We came here for some cocktails… the first one I ordered was lovely then we ordered the exact same drinks but the second time they were undrinkable.. we mentioned it to the waitress and she added more juice to them but they were still horrible. We also had some fries and they were average. But the staff were nice

This wasn’t my first time at Extrablatt. I would even call myself an ex regular… but the experience I had today was just something that will make me keep my distance. We choose one drink and it tasted just very off and when mentioned it to the waiter and asked if he could do anything about it he left and came back to tell us that “the boss said that’s how it’s meant to be”. Just very disappointing cause we had ordered it previously and it just didn’t taste the same. We left very disappointed. 😳

A great restaurant with a big spectrum of food and drinks like pizza, burgers, breakfast, wraps, desserts and so on! Enjoy going there :)

The atmosphere is cozy and comfortable, love the lighting. Nice service. The coffee and food was average - like any other Cafe Extrablatt.

Really good breakfast buffet, on the weekends, options are more and better, but good varities on weekdays as well. The dessert section was amazing, with good donuts, waffles and more. They also have really good eggs, bacon, cold meat cuts and cheese. They offer free Orange Juice and the price was really good for the variety and quality.

This is a great place to hang out in the evening. They have a nice variety of foods and the service is really top notch The lighting is very cosy and waiters really pay attention to you. Really good place to hang out for hours. Staff are welcoming and don't bother you too much except to check if you need refills. Their weekly breakfast buffet is nothing extraordinary, but is good value for money. Would certainly recommend this place for brunch.

The place is very nice with lots of space and great ambience. Food is great and so is the service. You have to keep in mind the time because breakfast menu has less options unless it’s buffet and you will not be able to order other menu items during this time. :(

Das Restaurant ist absolut super. Es gibt für jeden Zeitpunkt und jeden Geschmack das perfekte Essen. Die Auswahl ist riesig und man kann bei allem um Änderung bitten. Der Sevice ist super schnell und trotzdem strahlen alle eine gewisse Ruhe aus. Auch das Ambiente ist toll. Durch die verschiedenen Bereiche und die Spiegel an manchen Wänden, wirkt alles sehr geräumig und die Lautstärke ist trotzdem gut erträglich. Freitags und am Wochenende ist es sinnvoll einen Tisch zu reservieren.

Oh, ich muss hier wirklich kein Shakespeare sein, um das klarzumachen: Stellt euch vor, ein Restaurant mit Bar, so lässig, dass es fast euer zweites Wohnzimmer sein könnte! :) Stellt euch vor, es hat eine Terrasse, die so perfekt ist, als wäre sie nur dafür gemacht, um in der kalten Jahreszeit bei Dämmerlicht unter Heizstrahlern zu sitzen. Ihr kuschelt euch in eine Decke, die das Haus stellt, neben eure bessere Hälfte und zieht ab und zu lässig an der E-Zigarette – voilà, der postmoderne Johnny Depp lässt grüßen. Aber keine Sorge, ihr müsst dabei nicht so tun, als wärt ihr die neueste Ausgabe des „Rich Kids of Kö“. Das Café Extrablatt schafft es, mit seiner familiären und lockeren Atmosphäre bodenständig zu bleiben. Wenn jetzt nur noch der überholte „Starbucks Coffee“-Trend in die Versenkung verschwinden würde, dann wäre meine Zufriedenheit auf sagenhafte 110% gestiegen. Aber hey, 100/100% ist auch nicht schlecht. Da lassen sich die 0,50 bis 1,- Euro Trinkgeld für die fleißigen Seelen hinter dem Tresen doch mit einem Lächeln dalassen. Immer wieder ein Highlight – danke und bis zum nächsten Mal! :)

Sunday Breakfast Buffet is just the best in Extrablatt. Many food options ranging from Pancakes, Breads, Scrambled Eggs, Bacon, Salami Spreads, Cheese Spreads and many more. The Sweeth-Toothers (not a word but get the feel) will too have many options. Did not have anything apart from the Buffet yet.

Cafe Extrablatts don't cease to impress me and this one is not exception. The menu Is well thought-out and great value for money. I definitely recommend their breakfast buffets and lunchtime specials. INCREDIBLE. The Curry and Rice is very delicious, mind you it's not the authentic curry but the twist they offer is very good. They also have great burger options. I truly can't get enough of Extrablatt. If you're deciding on where to go, eat a lot, pay less? Your answer should always be Extrablatt.

Very busy on Sunday mornings, it might be a good idea to make reservations. Most people choose the breakfast buffet, a great variety of food for a reasonable price. We found a good table in the back, looking into the indoor shopping centre. There is enough food to choose from: buns, croissants, great cheeses, jams, yoghurt, fried eggs, salmon, fruit and vegetables. Good atmosphere and staff was friendly.

The location in Köln was great, this one in Düsseldorf is "OK-ish". The breakfast buffet is quite compact and many baskets were (almost) empty like bread, cheese, bacon and scrambled eggs. Friendly staff but a little understaffed.

I liked all the food I had. When I was there, it was not really full and the service was fast. The food has reasonable prices considering that it is located in the center. It is not very wide variety, but it is perfect if you want wraps, salads, burgers and some more things. There is a big variety of drinks instead.

Quite a nice ambience. Went for some hot coffee since it abruptly started raining, but the drinks were really nice and the food was good too. Will visit this place again to try their cocktails as well as food.

We came there on Sunday morning, unfortunately the lady who works there ruined our entire breakfast. When we asked if we can sit down outside, she looked at us like we were crazy. Later, When we tried ordering from the menu, my husband’s order she took without a problem, but when I asked for a breakfast that was in the menu, she said “we don’t have it”, and without any explanation or any suggestion of a replacement she just walked away. We had to catch another waitress, that was super nice and explained to us everything we needed. 40 minutes went by, and the order from my husband didn’t arrive yet, so we asked how long we must wait and she shorty replied “it comes soon” and walked away again. After more than an hour of waiting, we asked her to cancel the order because it’s been enough waiting, and that’s when she said that we didn’t order anything. And when we tried to explain to her how long we waited and that we actually have ordered that from her, she kept saying “from me? Not possible. Nein , not true “. So we just said “no problem, we need a bill then”. In the end, we never heard any apology or a single nice word from her, not even a “goodbye”.

I went there several time and notice that one thing, there is a waiter (unfortunately i didn’t notice his name) who is very arrogant and rude. His only concern is that he is good looking and he can look at people down and treat them in an unpleasing way He doesn’t respect the fact that not all can speak German fluently although he knows how to speak English, he speaks German fast and in low voice and make you feel silly because you didn’t understand Also the was one time when I pulled a bottle of water out of my bag to drink and he immediately said I should take it back In addition that the food and drinks often comes cold
