My favourite Takumi! The favours and the texture of the food is great. Fast service. During the summer they have a terrace. They open at 12PM and from that time on you can expect a queue. If you ask me it is worth waiting.

In one word: SUPER! Date of visit: 27/08/2023 around 3:30 pm ---- It was quite surprising that you have to wait in a line, this is something I have not experienced very often, probably because I mostly make a reservation in most restaurants, when I know that it can be busy. Please note RESERVATIONS CAN NOT BE MADE HERE. Waiting time was about 25 minutes, fortunately not that long, because the service in the restaurant is fast and organized. Ordered once inside, and we were served quickly. Food as you can see in the pictures looked good to the eye and the taste was definitely right. The nice thing was that we sat in the area where you can see the kitchen, and clearly see that gloves are being used, which is also a plus. For the price we paid, it is definitely worth a visit. Actually nothing to say negative about this place. Definitely a place I would visit again, but not at busy times :)

I would give overall 4.5 if I could. Food was awesome 9/10 Served quickly but the 30 mins waited in the long queue. Broth was great 9/10 However, the chicken in ramen did not taste good. 5/10 Gyoza was average 7/10. Noodles and vegies were fresh and tender 8/10

Eat like locals in Japan! Great taste Ramen. Actually the vegeterian Ramen is super great. Beautiful flavors, big portions and nice staff. Due to unknown reason for me the place is very popular. Usually there is a queue outside where you might spend 40min. Come prepared and enjoy a beer during the waiting time, especially during summer time.

The food was nice but not mind blowing. I don't think I'd go back because of how long you have to wait. We were waiting 30+ minutes on a Wednesday afternoon. Once seated, the service was very fast though. Big portions of ramen. You will leave full.

You have to stay in line which is a little bit irritating but I think they can't help it either with the fact they are so busy and houseful every time during the weekends. We ordered special Ramen from the menu which is very tasty and a good healthy portion. The taste is very authentic and everything seems so good. The service was also nice and very friendly. Within 5 min we got the Ramen 🍜 what we have ordered.

food was very good. Speacially the ramen I ordered, Surf-Turf (from speacial menu) loved it. It was served with half egg, prawns and Karage Chicken (japanese fried chicken) and this was the best part. Chicken was seasoned so welland it was so crispy outside 💯 Also we liked the chashu miso ramen was also very good. Pork was very tender and the soup has wonder flavour. As a side dish, we took octopus ball. Which was also 10/10. But, for their high demand they mostly have very long que and need to wait for certain amount. We had to wait for 50minutes. I am not sure if they reservation service though, so Can't recommend. So before you plan,I would suggest to keep that much time in hand.

Food is good, waiting time not too long, service very friendly. I go here quite often. Only issue was that one time when I was there a homeless guy wreaked havoc, screaming at customers for at least 20 full minutes before a waitress asked him to leave. That was obviously not the restaurant’s fault, it just got handled a bit late.

Super long queue, but actually didn't feel like it was that long. We went at a random time (like 4pm), and we waited like 20-30 min. Didn't really understand why, because there were always empty tables... But it took the service some time to accommodate the people. The food was nice, tasty and the service was great.

Came here for dinner and waited about 35 minutes. Don't really think the place is worth the big line. Pork broth was pretty bland, nothing special about it. It wasn't bad, but I wouldn't go back.

The place was always packed when we strolled by so we decided to put it on our list of places for dinner. I have to say the food was just ok. I have had way better bowls of Ramen and Pho back home. Being in China town I expected a higher level of food and service.

Takumi is Takumi, can't go wrong here although it is slightly different from the ones i visited in the Netherlands. If you come here i highly recommend the fried squid as a side dish! Overall my visit today was great :)

Our dishes taste super delicious. We sat at the counter, so we had a good view to watch the cook making our dishes. Really enjoy their amazing cooking process.

We ordered Tonkatsu Ramen, Miso Ramen, Gyoza, and Mini curry with fried rice. We queued up around 1 hour. The food is nice compared to other Ramen we have had before in Germany. They taste very similar to the original one except the curry was a bit sweet. The service could be improve in case of the queue because there are many gap time that the tables are empty but they not flow customer inside and also the table outside was facing with the rain so no one wanna sit outside (this case could be solved like any other restaurant like install the guardian). However, the staffs are really nice and good hospitality. 🫶🏻

I love to come eat here the ramen is super good! The tan tan white soup base is creamy and rich of taste, I prefer the non spicy one with all options included. Definitely recommend it! Big portion you’ll be very full afterwards. We also had a big portion of fried squid, which was good but to much for us. The staff is very friendly and helpful will answer any questions without hesitation. You do have to wait outside before you can get seated, every time we go there is a line, but once you get a spot the service is super fast!

Ramen is good but I was a little disappointed with the egg as it was not marinated (or not marinated enough). I visited twice during lunch time and had the same remark. I tried first the "Surf and turf" and the second time with "Tantanmen". Flavor is good but I found it a little odd to have cabbage (not a traditional vegetable found in ramen). Nice Japanese interior design. Service is very fast and the queue can be long. We lined up around 30mins before opening and were lucky to be seated in the first round. (The first time, only 10mins before opening and we were served on the second batch. We were late even if we're early.)

Wow!!! The authenticity of Japanese ramen and takoyaki. I will say no more. Simply excellent, like in Japan! The queue for the table was quite long but worth the wait time. I will be back :) Thank you for the experience!

Great ramen location, just be aware that there will be lines so expect to stand in line for about 30 min. Once sat down, service is super fast and the food is excellent. Well worth the wait.

The restaurant only have chicken ramen and I was somewhat suspicious in the beginning - however the ramen is really good. If it was pork I’d say it would be even better, but the food is delicious and fully recommend.

Probably fanciest ramen is here. I especially loved noodles in the soup. Also waiters are very helpful and atmosphere in general is extremely friendly!

Good food and fast service, worth the wait. Weekday the line is much shorter. Be prepare for long line on weekend. Note many Japanese restaurants in the area only serve lunch noon- 2:30pm and dinner reopen at 6pm.

A very popular Japanese restaurant that serves mainly ramen noodles. The soup is a little bit salty but tasty, and the portions of food are sufficient. Their service is relatively fast, suitable for a casual meal. But the restaurant doesn't take reservations and the waiting time is too long.

Except the chicken gyoza, and a bit less spicy karage tan tan men, other were really good! Would have given 4.5 if it was possible!

Delicious ramen, but not spicy for someone who eats spicy food on a regular basis. Even ordered "extra spicy" and for my taste I would say the heat level was "mild." Gyoza and edamame were on point as well. Long wait to get in but worth it overall. Staff and service was excellent.

I went to this restaurant because the long queue made me think it was good. But after half an hour of waiting half the queue was turned away at 8 pm because they ran out of food. I was the last person to be served. As new customers appeared, no one told them the restaurant was not taking more customers. They put me in the awkward position of turning away new customers. Staff was very rude to us. Food was not great at all. Chef forgot to add salt in one of the dishes. Staff weren't even slightly apologetic about this. Takoyaki which is fried octopus was labelled as not containing meat in the menu. The waiter said "it's not meat it's octopus"!?. The worst experience money can buy combined with an hour long wait time makes this place literal hell. Would not recommend.

Absolutely one of the best Japanese Ramen in Düsseldorf and also entire Europe. They served really nice Sapporo style ramen, with excellent soup base no matter Miso or tonkatsu. The texture of ramen is really “al dente”, which really gave us very good impression outside Japan. The shop is always full with long queue outside. Better to arrive at 11:45 am for less wait if you are running out of time.

I’ve only seen this place with a queue standing outside. Even on Sunday midday before opening we had to stand in a queue to get some tasty noodle soup. Worth noting is that here you can also get the sauce without pork.

Anytime I come here the food is always great. Today I tried their new noodle dish Surf and Turf, that not only has Karaage (fried chicken) but also Shrimps in it! They have a bunch of non-pork Ramen, which they don’t have in their store in Cologne. I must admit, they need improvement in Cologne but the stores in Düsseldorf are almost perfect (the store is just a bit tiny teeny lemon squeezy)

It took us almost an hour for queuing till we were seated but gotta say that it was worth the wait! Spicy Ramen with pork belly is a must if you visit here. Delicious food, very good price, cozy atmosphere, and a short wait for the food. Recommended!

The lines outside the restaurant every time I pass it is no wonder. The food and the service is really good in this place! My favorite Ramen restaurant so far! Keep up the good work!

There was a long wait to get in, but totally worth it. One of the best cups of ramen i’ve ever had. Thenkimchi was awesome as well. Great, busy atmosphere and quick and polite service. Definitely stop there, if you fancy a cup of ramen.

Good place, nice vibes. Japanese music playlist. The staff are very friendly and they speak japanese. The Ramen is beautiful, delicious and for most filling. The bowl is so huge you'll have trouble finishing it. Would 100% eat here again

The food was great. Had to wait, cause we were a group of 6 people. But somehow the crew didn't know how to accommodate the numbers. Letting in other people first before us, which I think is weird. Because we were waiting for 6 seats to be empty. Other than that. The experience was great. :)

Food is fine, but the karaage in the noodle soup gets soggy pretty fast. I had the spicy Tan Tan Mein, but there was zero spice (and my spice tolerance is very low). I probably wouldn’t go again, but they seemed to have a constant stream of visitors.

Visited this place on June 4th (Pentecost Weekend). It’s small. Busy and a bit hyped, waited 45 minutes for 2 seats. The ramen and rich broth are very tasty. Japanese beer likewise. The Gyoza and Kaarage chicken need some improvement that day. I’m from Holland. In my humble opinion the Takumi branche in Rotterdam is as good as the first Takumi in Dusseldorf. The experience in Dusseldorf is different because you know this is the place where it all started. The “Japanese” neighbourhood is interesting, a lot of cosplay people walking around and you can buy Japanese stuff (kitchenware, etc) 😃. Worth a visit! I would have given it 3,5 stars. Not possible, therefore 4 stars.

Always a big line, but it really is worth it. The ramen is great, the staff is friendly & all in all an excellent experience

Teriyaki chicken tastes great! The noodle soup is a bit salty and not recommended to drink up. The Tang Yang chicken pieces on the noodles were delicious.

I have ordered the ramen with fried chicken and red soup. In general, the ramen is okay and chicken fried well, just one comment is that the soup is a bit too thick, and the “peanuts” sauce(I guess) is not very well mixed with the soup which make the soup a bit too heavy, and you do not really feel the feeling of smooth.

Real Japanese food. Amazing gioza. Good ramen (huge variety of ramens). Very friendly service. Comment: they dont do TA.

😠 I’ve been visiting this Okinii since 2020, and each time the experience is getting worse. 👍 The place is quite lively and crowded. The ordering process is simple and the waiting time is acceptable (around 15 minutes). The food is fine, not exceptional though.
