We were looking for desi halal restaurant in colonge on our brief visit to colonge and luckily found Royal Punjabi restaurant on Web search. Superb location handy to get taxi to get there and returned to the hotel. Nice people cleaned envoirnment hygienic kitchen and toilets. Well maintained premises. Most importantly great food. Me and my wife likes spicy food and my kids are totally opposite but we all were delighted with the food and enjoyed our meals. Masaa tea were amazing. My little daughter asked :can we come here again tomorrowplease" after finishing her meal , she normally doesn't like to try new food or restaurants. We are here only for couple of days not sure we will be able to go there or not but we are so obliged and thankfull to the chef staff and owner of the restaurant they serves us more than we paid better quality food in a nice welcoming way like home. I have lived in Cologne for 4 years and eaten from about 10 different Indian restaurants but after visiting here there's no reason to visit another one. All of the plates we tried were phenomenal, esp. the Royal Punjab mixed tandoori plate. The service staff was extremely friendly and warm as well. We'll certainly be visiting again in the near future.
