Unfortunately, the visit to GoldEngel was a bit of a disappointment. It took about 1 hour (!!!) for all 10 of us guests to be served food and the food came one after the other at long intervals. The quality of the food also left something to be desired. There is one star each for the restaurant ambience and for the nice French waitress.

I celebrated my 50th birthday here and was really happy. From planning to implementation, everything was great. Great team, mega space - everything you wished for was implemented. Had a really great evening. All 80 guests were extremely enthusiastic.

We were allowed to be guests of Gudrun and Felix on Friday. We had to organize our Christmas party with 160 people. The hosts, Gudrun and Felix, responded to all of our wishes and supported us very much. In just a few hours, we transformed the location into a little winter wonderland, with a tent, patio heaters, food truck, photo box and all the trimmings. We felt very comfortable, there were enough staff to make the celebration a really great experience. We couldn't have asked for anything more. A first-class, cozy location, with great, warm hosts. We are completely happy and can only recommend you. Uncomplicated, great value for money, great people, great service. Here they know how to celebrate and how to create an experience for every guest.

Fantastisches und liebevoll zubereitetes Frühstück und angenehmer Atmosphäre. Wir sind extrem begeistert, seit sehr langer Zeit ein sehr gutes Frühstück in Köln. Der Goldengel bereitet alles frisch zu und verwendet ausschließlich hochwertige Zutaten. Die hausgemachten Fruchtaufstriche sind ausgefallen, nicht zu süß und schlicht lecker. Kaffee ist hochwertig genauso wie Obst, Käse und Serranoschinken. Das gekochte Bioei perfekt noch leicht weich im Eigelb. Der Minz-Granatapfel-Joghurt kommt geschmacklich definitiv an die großartige israelische Küche ran. Und selten habe ich einen so wunderbar an die Jahreszeit angepassten Fruchtsalat bekommen, ohne dass einfach nur Äpfel und Kiwis gemischt werden. Der Goldengel liegt zwar an der Niehler Straße, aber erstens hat man hier bis frühen Nachmittag Sonne, zweitens haben die Inhaber ihr bestes gegeben, um die Atmosphäre schöner zu gestalten und drittens ist es im Vergleich zur Aachener Straße fast schon ruhig. Definitiv eines der besten Frühstücke in Köln und in Nippes sowieso.

Das Bistro Goldengel auf der Niehler Straße kann mit einer geschmackvollen Einrichtung und nettem Service trumpfen. Die Speisekarte ist überschaubar kann durch wechselnde Gerichte und vor allem durch die frische Zutaten und tolle Zubereitung überzeugen. Eine absolute Bereicherung der sonst so tristen Niehler Straße !

Eine sehr angenehme Überraschung! Der Cafe ist sehr lecker und dann auch noch Fairtrade. Die Küche ist mal anders als das gewohnte Allerlei und sehr schmackhaft. Und dann noch sehr aufmerksames und nettes Personal. Besser kann man es fast nicht machen. Ich komme gerne wieder 😊

Zum Besuch meiner Mutter sind wir zusammen in den Goldengel gegangen. Als Vorspeise haben wir uns ein köstliches Garnelenpfännchen in Rosmarin-Zitronenöl geteilt. Als Hauptspeise ging es ebenso lecker weiter: Garnelensalat, herrlich dekoriert mit Früchten und zarte Hähnchenbrust in Champignon-Weißwein-Sauce mit Knöpfle. Wir waren begeistert, auch vom herzlichen Service der Köchin. Wir kommen wieder und freuen uns drauf.
