To the cathedral 11 minutes walk away. For a few days at least enough! (Original) es war ausreichen. Ein paar sachen demoliert und unsauber. Fenster war kaputt und wlan ging nur ganz langsam. Betten waren gemütlich, frühstück gut und das personal sehr nett. Zum dom 11 Minuten fuß weg. Für ein paar tage aufjedenfall ausreichend!

It was a great and beautiful experience for us. Friendly staff, excellent breakfast, access to Cologne city center, beautiful and clean room and.... We will definitely choose this hotel again.

Strange experience here. When I arrived, with a reservation, to the hotel (about 10pm or a little earlier) it was completely shut with no one there. I tried knocking on the doors but no answer, no answer from the phone number on the hotel website, no answer from the phone number seen from the exterior of the building either. I asked in the shop opposite and they had another number for the hotel and called them and helped me enter the hotel using a code left for me. The hotel had emailed me to tell me the reception would not be staffed and to enter the code but I hadn't received this email, which was sent only 1 or 2 hours before. The room quality was actually quite good for the price but never saw a staff member at the hotel, not even the next morning. The hotel cited the national train strikes which were ongoing at the time as a reason for the lack of staff.
