Beautiful bookstore with such a wide variety of books and magazines and even toys for kids. There is a section for kids to play while you shop for things. I was there shopping for international books and for German books. I loved it here definitely would go again!

My go-to store when buying books, gifts or anything “Köln“. Impressive variety of “stuff”, now also including a coffee shop on the top floor.

The bookstore where I bought my first books for law school. it was extremely exciting for me:) but it is a truly wonderful place with its variety of books and its regularity.

Nice collection of books including other languages. Love the cafe and the atmosphere in general. You might also get your orders online, but it’s more fun to get a book in the store

A readers paradise. With 3 stories full of books, this is an absolute delight to visit. On the 3rd floor, you find a coffee shop. It's not just books and magazines but also all you need for school or work like pens and notebooks, agendas etc. To top it all off, they sell all sorts of gimmicks related to some book franchise ls or the city of Cologne. A definite must visit.

Very large selection of books. Excellent, very helpful explanation of E-BOOKS and readers from Thalia and from Amazon(!). They seem to be very customer-oriented.

Nice place for books' lovers. On the last floor there is a space where you can drink coffee or tea with sweets and enjoy reading books. The shop is right in the city center.

Cool choice of books, good opening hours, lovely service and there are places to sit down and read into the book that you are considering to acquire. There is a super nice Cafe as well.

Great store. Was not impressed with the service though. Was looking for Ukranian books, a staff member pointed out the shelf but couldn't tell me which books are Russian and which are Ukranian, and did not show an inclination to help me figure it out. I left without buying anything.

A very large choice of books, a good amount of books in English too. You can also find several presents idea (mugs, Notebooks, and more) and the café inside have nice drinks and tasty pastries, small "issue" : you have to pay to go to the toilets.

Great, centrally located (at Neumarkt), large book store where you can get most books right away. If they don't have a book in stock, they order it for you right away, and you can pick it up a few days later.

Easily the best bookstore in Köln. Wide range of book choices. Helpful & hardworking staff. The small reading area is so comfy that u never realise the time passing by until hours later. Maybe some sort of membership card would be a good initiative. Like after every 20 books bought, one book free. Or discounted price if its your birthday. Or recommendations on which book u should read next(based on your recent books read) just like with YouTube. It would be amazing if there could be events, like a special ''International Week'' where Authors could be invited and talk about their books and answer questions etc. P.S : Kuddos to the dedicated Team at the Café who contributes in spreading a jovial atmosphere.

This is a fine store full of books, board games, and just general toys for kids. I don't usually read much because I can't really find books I wanna read. Low and behold, I bought a book!
