Nice view over Köln. But the gondolas rattle and vibrate a lot and are kind of cringe. The lines are HUGE and it goes slowly because too many people come and go back WITHOUT GETTING OFF (more than 50% when I stayed in line). That is totally not fair. When you arrive, you should get off and stay in line with the other people because it's a completely new ride the other way. I don't think I will ride this cable car again.

A great experience and well worth doing if you are in Köln and it is inexpensive, only 5€ one way and 8€ return for adults. There are other rates for children and for groups. I would certainly recommend it.

Their site and Google say it's open.. turns out they are on winter break... Biggest time waster so far...

Really fun way to see a view of Cologne. Parking could be better

A must try attraction in Cologne. The Seilbahn is like connecting two park in Cologne. On the west side of Rhein River, it's Cologne Zoo, and on the east side it's Rhein Park. Simply get by LRT/tram line 18 from Koln Hbf (direction Thielenbruch), and get off at Zoo/Flora Halte. I got round trip tickets, got off on the east side and spend around 2 hours on Rhein Park before coming back to Cologne Zoo.

They were supposedly open, we came there and they were closed without any further information. On the other side of the cable, they informed that they were closed due to the winds.

You can get a nice view to the Rhine and the Dom

Opens really beautiful sight to the city. Has pretty long queues, so you may wait a lot during the hot sunny days. The staff was prety friendly, everything that is needed was done. You can pay both cash and card. Definitely it is worth your money.

Great experience, must try. Best ever telepherique I ever did. Goes over parks, roads, river, bridge, everything 🥰 great view. Unfortunately closes too early and you can't enjoy the sunset from up there

This was nice experience for my sister and me. I should also say that price was affordable. If you visit Cologne, I would absolutely recommend this activity here. This will be fantastic experience for you.

Another way to explore Köln. Take whatever side/station as you like, both sides gives another experience, either massive/spacious garden or Köln Zoo. Get your phone/camera ready, don't miss to take an aerial snaps Start as early as possible to avoid long queue.
