Come away for a weekend with friends. Beautiful restaurant 400yrs old. Great service and delicious food. I had chicken in sauce with croquettes, others in my party had pork knuckle, pizza and burger. Ignore the negative reviews, try it for yourself before you judge.

pork knuckle ; very hard, had a strange taste 🤐, the schnitzel stank of fish oil 🙈. I don't recommend it. There were 7 of us and no one was satisfied. I'm very sorry that someone else charges money for it and destroys famous German dishes.

Just don’t go here. The pizza we got here tasted good, but the schnitzel was dry and very plain. They also over charged us 13 euro, and being tourists we were too polite to enquire. The waiter was yelling obscenities to himself just before we wanted to pay, I reckon he miscalculated someone else’s bill and stole from us to cover himself.

Dirty glasses. Very dirty toilet. Expensive and terrible food. Rude and aggressive staff. If you want to be served the dirtiest food in the city, or better thrown at you, go ahead. They even physically assaulted us. We called the Police and made an official complaint about them. No surprise that they are officially the last and the worst restaurant in TripAdvisor, in the rankings for Cologne. We made the mistake by not checking the reviews before sitting there! If you are reading these sentences, don't do the same mistake for your own sake.

Absolute worst restaurant in Köln. A complete tourist trap with dog food just out the freezer. Meat and fries were not good at all and we should not speak about the spaghetti bolognese which were floating in water… Also when we stated we did not want to tip the waiter suddenly became rude. In addition the place is so crowded you cannot even move in between tables. Also the hygiene is questionable when you see the waiters sneezing and smoking without washing their hands after… don’t go there.

The worst tourist trap restaurant in the whole of Köln. The food tasted like dry cardboard and would have been better if you microwaved it yourself. The worst was that they charged me more money from my card when I wasn't paying attention.

We had amazing cocktails and very good food, the service was perfect! You don’t find such customer friendly places any more! Compliments!
