I
recently
arranged
a
trial
training
session.
Unfortunately
the
gym
isn't
suitable
for
me
at
all,
that's
a
very
subjective
point
that
I
would
like
to
briefly
explain.
I
work
full
time
in
a
very
stressful
job
and
use
exercise
as
an
outlet.
Unfortunately,
the
trainer
here
is
very
aggressive
in
his
tone
and
generally
quite
unfriendly,
which
I
personally
don't
need
after
work.
For
example,
during
the
trial
training
I
saw
a
slightly
younger
participant
who
tried
to
hide
behind
the
column
because
the
exercises
required
of
him
were
too
demanding,
but
he
was
afraid
of
being
confronted
by
the
trainer.
If
you
want
a
military
performance
drill,
for
example
talking
is
prohibited
during
training,
this
is
the
place
for
you.
For
me
it's
nothing
at
all.
That's
about
the
subjective
part.
However,
I
wouldn't
give
it
a
bad
rating
because,
as
mentioned,
it
is
purely
subjective.
And
so
to
the
objective
part:
The
trainer
obviously
knows
what
he's
doing
and
is
a
very
good
and
experienced
fighter
himself.
However,
for
a
beginner's
course,
I
was
wondering
how
I
should
be
taught
something.
The
first
~40
minutes
of
the
one-hour
training
were
a
drill-like
endurance
training,
which
had
to
be
carried
out
so
quickly,
especially
with
punch
and
kick
combinations,
that
as
a
beginner
you
don't
even
have
the
opportunity
to
pay
attention
to
your
form.
In
general
(apart
from
2
holding
poses)
nothing
was
corrected
or
precisely
demonstrated.
While
"sparring"
shortly
afterwards,
I
was
randomly
assigned
to
a
partner
who
had
taken
a
long
break
himself
and
therefore
completely
overestimated
himself.
So
I
sustained
an
injury
on
the
first
day
because
my
partner
blocked
a
kick
with
his
elbow.
Of
course,
it
is
clear
to
me
that
Muay
Thai
is
a
sport
where
this
is
part
of
it.
However,
I
find
the
lack
of
supervision
in
such
a
large
group
of
beginners
difficult.
It
was
also
not
possible
to
go
through
movement
sequences
with
your
partner
because
you
were
looked
at/yelled
at
when
you
spoke.
I
don't
have
to
pay
€50
a
month
for
this
because
there
was
virtually
no
supervision.
I
wasn't
even
shown
how
a
kick
actually
works;
I
had
to
rely
completely
on
my
sparring
partner,
who,
even
during
the
break,
had
little
idea.
I
can
also
do
the
drills
for
free
in
a
park.
If
you
already
have
experience
in
Muay
Thai
and
want
pure,
but
quite
effective,
drill
training
followed
by
changing
sparring
partners,
this
is
the
right
place
for
you.
But
as
a
complete
beginner
you
don't
learn
much.
In
fact,
you
tend
to
acquire
poor
form
because
the
trainer
can't
pay
attention
to
so
many
newbies
at
the
same
time
and
the
drills
are
very
demanding
of
you
very
quickly.
I
would
like
to
give
one
star
for
beginners,
but
I
would
even
give
5
stars
for
advanced
users.
The
training
is
effective,
but
only
if
you
already
know
what
you
are
doing.
Therefore
the
middle
ground
with
3
stars.
