Before I ordering Dum Biryani, I asked if its really Dum Biryani and waiter replied yes. The dishes are very expensive compare to other restaurants. It was just a fried rice with not even marinated chicken. … not recommended.

I recently dined at Ginti and More restaurant at Neumarkt, my overall experience was truly awesome and fantastic. The restaurant boasts a pleasant ambiance with comfortable seating and enjoyable music, creating a welcoming atmosphere. The usp of the restaurant is extensive variety of food options that transport you to a 5-star restaurant in India. The menu is a culinary journey, offering a wide range of flavors and dishes that cater to diverse tastes, from street food like papdi chat to main course dishes like paneer chilli, papad to fries, tea to wine. It feels like having authentic indian food in Indian restaurant in koln. The service here is top-notch, and the staff's attentiveness adds to the overall dining experience. However, it's worth noting that this quality and experience come at a price, and it can be on the expensive side if you compare to other restaurants or convert to INR 😅. Nevertheless, if you're looking for an exquisite dining experience with exceptional food and service, this restaurant is a top choice, Will come back soon for awesome taste and experience.

This is really a good option for Indian fusion kitchen in Cologne and the nearby places. The staff is friendly , nice and service is super. Ambience is lovely as well and very unlike the tacky decor or strange bollywood songs of other European Indian restaurants. The street food specially chat, pani puri etc is absolutely recommended. Main course dal makhani and mutton rogan josh is a must have too. Some dishes like Kulfi is store bought and not upto mark but this is fine as it tastes like the already available store bought ones. Drinks are beautiful and tastes very good.

Definitely worth visiting. Food was authentic and delicious. The ambience was very lovely. Alo food will be cooked according to our taste. Customizing the taste is best of this restaurant. We had lovely time. But maybe it is the restaurant which cannot be visited due to little higher prices when compared to other restaurants. But the prices are worth the taste. The staff also gave us a papri chat as complimentary. Loved the staff coordination and service. The other day, I have also ordered food online for new year eve. Even though the website did not accept my location. They have took the order through telephone and delivered the order. It was so nice of them. The restaurant is very near to the Neumarkt station.

This restaurant seemed really good and prices were higher than normal Indian restaurants. The first turn-off was that there was no option to choose between Naan and Rice. All Pakistani restaurants offer it. Environment was good but food was bad for this amount of money we payed. -> Mango Lassi: Rating: 4/10 It was really average in taste. Sarvana Bhavan has the best Mango Lassi -> Nalli Nihari: Rating: -1/10 I thought it would be very authentic Nihari, but it was sheer disappointment. It was not even Nihari but a piece of meat with worst tasting curry. -> Mutton Josh: Rating: 3/10 There was no difference between Mutton Josh and Nihaari. Both had same curry with worst spices. Overall Experience: 2/10

The food is really delicious, definitely one of the better Indian restaurants in Cologne. Service is also really quick and friendly. Only thing is the regular issue I always have with Indian Restaurants: The rice is by far not enough for the dishes and we had to order a second round.

Great place! Loved the food, super nice host. The menu was a bit hard to understand, but the host helped out great by choosing all the courses. That was a shot in the rose... Very very good food!

The restaurant's culinary offerings were a delight to the taste buds, featuring a diverse and flavorful menu. Unfortunately, the dining experience was overshadowed by a waitress with a noticeably negative attitude. The service fell short of expectations, impacting the overall enjoyment of what could have been an excellent meal.

Absolutely delighted with the dining experience at Ginti Indian restaurant! The food was beyond exceptional; I daresay it is better than the delightful flavours found in India or the UK. The menu offered an extensive array of fantastic choices that catered to various tastes, leaving us spoiled for options. Highly recommend this spot for an authentic and exquisite Indian dining experience!

Mutton soup is good, but the lamb rib, ice cream and cheese are so bad! The lamb ribs are over burned and bitter.

They made amazing atmosphere place and they ruined it by putting too much tables, even there were not that much people. It could be a nice dining restaurant where people would stay long and spend more money for drinks, but I didn't want to stay even for dessert. Too noisy and too bad service. Everything is slow. Food was too salty. But Nan was amazing. The most interesting part was the spoon. Never seen that much umcomfortable spoon in my life. It was not a worthy experience at all. We chose it for our anniversary, even we asked for a good table when we made a reservation. However we ended up sitting at a small table in between a bunch of people. Not recommanded at all.

One of the best places in Köln for fusion Indian food. Tried chicken lollipop, chicken tikka and butter chicken- tastes exactly like the food you get india.

The quantity was less and disappointing foe the amount paid. Few of the dishes were really good. But my in-laws were not so impressed as much i was 😅.

Excellent food. We visited for lunch and ate from the Street Food section of the menu. Service was prompt and polite and we were offered shade when sitting outside. Portions were generous and prices are reasonable. Would definitely recommend a visit.

I love this place, the atmosphere is so nice and it’s designed so well. The food is delicious and served in big portions I would definitely recommend

  • 3/5 Christina D. 4 months ago on Google
The food was tasty but the portions were very small. The meat samosas were 8.5 for just two pieces, the main courses were children's portions, and they told us all mains come with rice that never came. When asked about it, they brought one bowl of rice for 4 people. They also brought two bottles of water without asking and charged 7 euros each. It's too overpriced for what it offers, would not visit again.

Friendly staff, service was also super quick. The food was good, but not quite had the quality considering the portion size and price. Also it could have been a little hotter.

We came for a birthday celebration 🎉. The ambiance and food was really good. Staffs were friendly. The food seemed to be overpriced against the quantity provided. Still a nice experience to be here.

Amazing food and loved the ambience. For the first time in my 19 years in Germany that I found the most authentic and delicious Dosa and roomali roti. The street food selection is spot on too and I recommend Ginti and more highly! Attentive service too which doesn’t hurt at all!

This place is fantastic. Although it looks a tad posh, I would highly recommend it to anyone, as it is actually quite affordable and there is no demand for ceremony. The food is amazing and the staff is very friendly. Ginti is already on my list of favourite spots in town.

We had a team dinner at the restaurant, it was an amazing experience, right from talking to the owner in regard to the organization till the night of the event. They organized a buffet for us and were sweet enough to provide us with complimentary starter's. Everyone had a great time!

This restaurant raise quality to all other restaurants in Cologne! I will start from interior design - so far, i didn't dine in in the restaurant in Cologne, who paid attention to every small detail from the design of the walls, to the chairs, how the garden will look like, is the chairs are comfortable or not, and this restaurant has it all! Food - OMG, the food..... it was explosion of the smells and tastes when food arrived! Every single person who works there, are so friendly, and they know how to work with the customers! Just big BRAVO for the GINTY AND MORE team!

The place is bright and positive…. Food is tasty but the quantity is very less. Be prepared mentally that you have to wait for the food…. BUT WORTH THE WAIT…

So, so, good! After two years of living in Madrid (originally from Seattle and Cuba), we have been craving spices beyond paprika and cumin. Our food at Ginti and More was heaven for our spice strapped souls. One of the best parts was having so many dishes available that we had never tried before. Our waiter was great at recommending some dishes to try and we weren't disappointed. I highly recommend anyone who loves good food to come and eat here. If you are worried about the food being too spicy, I thought they did an excellent job of keeping just enough heat to make the food complex, without you spending the whole meal blowing your nose. The restaurant itself was also really beautiful. It was modern and spaced out well. It would be a great place to come with a large group.

I ordered Samosas, Chicken dum biryani and Shahipaneer with Mangolassi.. My food was really amazing specially the Shahi paneer (got too greedy and dint even take a picture of it).. The paneer was spiced with love and had amazing char on it from the tandoor just like how it is supposed to be! I was a slightly grumpy when i saw the Chicken Dum Biryani because I think I was expecting a hyderabadi style chicken dum Biryani... But the taste was definately good enough for me to eat the whole portion without a single grain of rice left on my plate! So theres nothing to complain really. Service was great as usual so i was positively happy with the dining experience... Definitely visiting again! Keep up the good work Ginti Team :)
