would
like
to
share
my
recent
experience
in
the
dental
office,
especially
regarding
communication
and
the
possibility
of
further
treatment.
I
was
hoping
to
have
my
implants
done
by
this
doctor,
but
that
was
hampered
by
my
experience.
The
doctor
himself
showed
impressive
professionalism
and
expertise,
which
I
really
appreciated.
Unfortunately,
my
experience
with
the
receptionist/assistant
was
less
than
satisfactory.
One
person
at
reception
in
particular
was
often
rude
and
seemed
to
have
little
interest
in
listening
to
my
concerns.
It
was
frustrating
that
I
was
given
little
opportunity
to
voice
my
concerns,
either
in
person
or
over
the
phone.
During
my
two-year
treatment
for
gum
treatment,
I
had
to
postpone
my
last
appointment,
which
I
agreed
upon
2
years
ago.
No
reminder
message
was
sent
and
I
couldn't
remember
it.
When
I
tried
to
reschedule,
it
was
difficult
to
reach
the
reception
staff.
After
a
while,
I
asked
for
a
call
back
via
the
online
platform
to
arrange
a
new
treatment
appointment
and
consultation
for
(implants).
When
the
lady
called
me,
it
felt
like
there
was
little
understanding
for
every
change.
The
receptionist
seemed
unwilling
to
take
my
requirements
into
account
and
I
was
confronted
with
the
explanation
that
my
situation
was
"clear"
even
though
it
had
not
been
previously
communicated
to
me.
(It
was
explained
to
me
that
the
rescheduling
of
an
appointment
was
based
on
could
impact
the
entire
treatment
plan
and
I
understood
this
information.
However,
I
was
not
informed
that
a
missed
appointment
would
not
be
available
for
rescheduling.
This
important
information
was
not
communicated
to
me
transparently.)
After
requesting
a
call
back
to
schedule
a
consultation,
I
also
intended
to
discuss
the
possibility
of
implants.
Unfortunately,
the
conversation
with
a
receptionist
was
interrupted
before
I
could
fully
explain
my
concerns.
It
is
unfortunate
that
I
do
not
feel
comfortable
and
understood
with
the
receptionists.
As
a
patient,
you
should
have
the
opportunity
to
address
your
concerns
in
a
supportive
and
respectful
environment.
Unfortunately,
I
have
the
feeling
that
this
is
not
the
case
in
this
practice.
For
this
reason,
I
regret
that
I
have
decided
to
continue
my
further
treatment
elsewhere.
Although
I
was
originally
interested
in
implant
treatment
with
this
doctor,
the
disappointing
communication
and
inappropriate
behavior
of
the
reception
staff
has
led
me
to
change
my
course.
I
hope
that
the
practice
will
increase
its
efforts
to
improve
patient
communication
in
the
future.
The
doctor's
medical
expertise
deserves
to
be
accompanied
by
appropriate
patient
care.
