Wanted to change my look and go for something more natural so I checked out Djelani Maachi. I showed him what I wanted and booked an appointment with him. Upon my arrival at the salon, I was greeted warmly and offered some hot beverages. Mr. Djelani’s wife took care of the styling while we chatted about our different cultures. Then I got my hair cut by Mr. Djelani himself. They are both very friendly, professional and warm. The experience was great and I was very happy with the end product. As long as I’m in Paris, I will surely be returning to Djelani Maachi for my haircut :)

Best hairdresser ever. A true master of his craft. A miraculous worker, it’s been years that I see him and if away or abroad and have to come somewhere else, I always come back to him as soon as back in Paris as he truly is the best.

Djelani and his wife seem nice. They did a nice haircut but unfortunately the color they did on my hair was a disaster. I had a balayage and supposedly they were going to update it but not only did they make a uniform color throughout my head, taking out all the balayage, but it left everything reddish. Far from the color and style we had agreed upon after seeing a photo on their own website. Then they had to do another color to correct the error but the reddish color did not go away. Between both colors they did a keratin treatment, which is well known that a color treatment removes the keratin, but even so, they not only charged me for the keratin but they also charged me for the reddish color they left me with. In other words, I paid €400 for a haircut, keratin (what it was left), and a color that I had to correct at another hair salon (not to mention the damage to my hair and extra money it cost me). They also stood me up, the appointment was at 10:30am but they arrived at 11am. I have photos of everything. I don't recommend this place for anything other than a haircut.

Amazing! I came across this hairdresser by looking for a "coiffeur" in Paris. I called & two hours later I was already sitting in the shop and my hair (that badly needed treatment) was taken care of - and how! Djelani is a real expert and only by looking at my hair he knew what needed to be done + he saw immediately what kind of cut would fit me best. Only thee hours after even knowing that this amazing hairdresser even existed, I walked out of the shop with this amazing hair! Thank you Djelani for this great work & experience! I will definitely come back!
