They never heard of customer services . worst place ever, when we were making reservations , there were so many inconvenient communication errors. we booked a functional hall for a birthday party , but when we arrived they offered a meeting room instead of a functional hall and treated us aggressively .

Well honestly this place come up in randomly since I was walking around enjoying the area of sea view…. Chaw chaw pub has very unique eye catching view from front of the restaurant/pub and all the way inside😍 Mostly I’m happy with the welcoming part done by the employees which is amazing… Super friendly and loving people who give full attention towards the customers… plus explain anything about the “ PUB “…. Thank you Mr. Saliya jayasekara (restaurant manager) If you go through the menu the prices are much much reasonable when compared to other pubs I would say much cheaper but amazing food! Smells perfect! Clearly this place will offer house beer and many beer types but not hard liquor which you have to bring by yourself. Also they got special offer for Lion lager 🍺 x4 for LKR.1650/- which clearly help for those who love beer. This place also have VIP room (which has to reserve before arriving) and inside restaurant which is shared by videos. From photos you may can see the amazing inner view of chaw chaw pub. It mentioned in night it will be best with lot of people… Well I would be more appreciate if you all come and see the true view of this place… 😍😍 Thank you

It's a BYOB place with no corkage or extra charges. Food was good, but nothing special about it. Reasonably priced. Felt the portion size is a bit on the small side, but overall okay. Friendly staff provided excellent service.

Bites and food were excellent, and very reasonable. The service was excellent. The staff were friendly and helpful. They were helping with parking as well. The place is brand new, and really well done. We booked a separate room for a private gathering, and it was great. Based on your preference, you can stay indoors or outdoors.

The place looks smaller from outside. But when u step inside its a clean, nice, cozy and tidy place where anyone can have a small drink, get, party, or even come for a meal with friends. Food was super tasty, prices are reasonable, staff was friendly so I would recommend the place for anyone.

Chaw Chaw had a delightful ambience. A large separated personal dinning area is good for 25 -30 people with a large TV screen usually playing seasonal cricket matches. Also there's another space for about 10-15 additional dinners. Staff is very helpful. Food is really good for the price. BYOB is also available. There's no separate parking area. Although customer has to park on the road, there's a dedicated security personnel to attend the vehicles.

The location is good. It's easy to access from marine drive side. They have not private parking. Then you have to park on street. Sometimes little bit difficult to find parking place. Inside design was attractive. A/C and non A/C area was there. If you can make a appointment its good. I am visited this place in week day evening. Place was busy. They have own beer permission. If you want hard liquors. you need to bring it from outside. Foods is delicious. Portion also enough. Overoll service is good. Place can be recommended to meet friends.

Less parking area available, Food portions were bite small but mouth watering and service levels are good. Recommended for couples or gang, but not for a large group of people.

No music, No Ice. Food is fine but it get boring after sometime. Honestly they can improve if they make some effort. They have potential but some reason stopped achieving what people would like to come again.

Hi! One of the best places in Colombo 4 if you want to experience Chinese food. Those who have had food from Chaw Chaw will definitely visit again since it provides such a wide choice of delicious Chinese dishes. Yet to explore the pub though.. 😊

Pretty good place to hangout after work or something like that. BYOB and corkage is free I believe if the bill value is above certain value (can't remember how much, always was above that) The atmosphere and the setting is really nice, got that cool sports pub vibe. Got a a/c room inside as well as the general area. General area has the outdoor look and feel but with a glass roof so weather is not a problem but has the "look up and you see the sky" sensation (less clusterphobic with the sun roof) Food is pretty good, some dishes are better than others. Portions too some are better than others. The seafood platter is a wonder, it's plentiful and delicious. So are most of the kottus. Other dishes, so e may like it some may not be satisfied. Price is not as bad, a person could get away with around 2.5k so not a budget option but not the break the bank place either. Service is pretty good and no intrusions and disturbances. Popular, everytime I go there, there be handful of people around, even on a mid week so they have something good going on. There are things to improve, food wise, seating wise but nothing worth of complaining, they can only improve.
