Stopped by for a quick spontaneous dinner at the sky yard, rooftop bar & lounge. Not only do they serve a variety of cocktails but also serves a variety of dishes with a unique twist. Each dish stood out of other dishes served anywhere else. A special note on the staff is the fact that they were friendly enough to greet the customers with a warm smile and the service was outstanding. The ambiance was spot on, especially during the nighttime. The view and the sea breeze from the rooftop is therapeutic after a hectic day at work. MaRadha is a place that I’d definitely want to go again.

Had a lunch with bunch of people from office and it was a terrible experience. Simple order took more than 1 and half hours for preparation. And in terms of the rooftop bar and lounge and its view towards the ocean gives you the perfect atmosphere, food was terrible. We ordered Chicken biriyani, seafood fried rice and chicken nasigoorang. None of the meals were upto expectations. All 3 meals we felt as just a normal dish from a restaurant corner a road. Very disappointed experience in terms of the taste and value for money...

Went to Sky Yard for dinner and drinks. The food is yummy and really well made. They have small thoughtful twists to everyday dishes like cheese toast, fried fish etc. The pork chops were mouthwatering. Some may find the dishes a little bit salty than average but they do compensate with a great fusion of flavours!!! Definitely have their loaded nachos if you visit! Look how cheesy! The only issue I had with the spot was that the inner restaurant and bar could use a little more ventilation. Would definitely come back 😀

Disappointed. We called this number mentioned in the google maps and made a reservation before going there. Once we arrived, we clearly stated that we have a reservation and one of the waiters (one wearing blue shirt and sarong) was shouting very disrespectfully saying that there’s no any reservation under my name without even checking the reservations list. And I clearly stated again I made a reservation then they said we didn’t receive any reservation requests, it might have reached the ground floor. It’s not our problem, it’s clearly a problem that you guys have to figure out. Then I called again this number and asked why the reservation is not there. The person who spoke on the phone was like okay I’ll check but he never showed up. Then we waited like 10-15 mins, there were 4/5 waiters but no one talked to us or arranged a table for us. They didn’t even care, So we had to leave. Management please train your waiters to talk to people respectfully and handle your reservations properly

The lounge area was comfortable and had plenty of seating, making it a great spot to relax with friends or unwind after work. In addition to the drinks, Sky yard also offered a menu of small plates and snacks that were delicious and paired well with the drinks. Overall, I had an amazing time at Sky yard Maradha and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a great bar and lounge experience. The quality of service, drinks, and atmosphere made it a standout spot in the city. I look forward to my next visit!

I recently had a wonderful stay at Hotel Maradha. The staff was incredibly welcoming and attentive, making me feel right at home from the moment I arrived. The room was spacious, clean, and well-appointed with all the amenities I needed for a comfortable stay. The bed was incredibly comfortable, and I slept like a baby every night. The hotel's restaurant served delicious food .The Sky yard rooftop pool and bar were the perfect place to relax and take in stunning views of the city. The attention to detail and quality of service truly set it apart from other hotels.

Visited with my family and had a blast! Must try for anyone in the area! Would highly recommend visiting during sunset for a great view of the sun setting over the ocean. The sea breeze helps create the perfect atmosphere to grab some drinks with friends. My new go to spot in Colombo and would urge everyone to give it a try!

The view is perfect. so is the food which is delicious. Not too crowded. Atmosphere is good but I think they could do something more with the lighting and ventilation. Definitely coming back.

Food is tasty but prices may be a bit steep once you factor in taxes and service charge. Go here for: Veddha Style Pork - deep fried pieces of pork on a bed of rich coconut gravy topped with onion rings and fried curry leaves 🤤 Don't get: Potato wedges - lacks flavour or seasoning. Desserts are meh!

Out of the box nibbles their veddha style fried pork is a must try Reasonable portions and price ranges . Happy hours brought happiness 😃scenic and calming ocean views .perfect bar and lounge for a romantic or even a corporate team meet up… Rajith is a fantastic and a humble Stewart . Complementary mention on Vishawa who is the assistant bar tender. Must go place..
