Life has never been the same since joining CNR and I absolutely love running, specially with the CNR community. They motivate your running and support even your wellbeing – from coaching and encouraging me to reimagine what’s possible - like completing a half marathon, which I did in Dec 2022. Joining CNR in Mar 2021 - I’ve become a fan and completed runs through the pandemic, during my various travels elsewhere as running has become a greater passion and something that truly keeps me going ! I look forward to Thursdays ! And getting to know the community created through CNR – a bonus !

The route is well set and has less traffic exposure hence there is no disturbance for our runs. Running down paths of trees especially in the early parts of the morning or evening gives a wonderful view of the surrounding, whilst at the night especially for the Colombo Night Runners (CNR) it is a different experience only a runner could feel ;->

'Colombo Night Run' is where it all started for me back in 2018. I was 38 years old and unable to run more than 200m. It is through this incredible group of people that I discovered the love of running long distance and which I continue to remain passionate about! If you want to start running, try it out, get back into the sport or are looking for a great community to push your limits with, join the CNR!

I was that person who never wanted to run but here I am enjoying my runs with this amazing group. They are super supportive and always there to boost you up. For someone who never liked running with the help of CNR I run 10k now.
