As an Aussie tourist in Sri Lanka I had been trying to find authentic Sri Lankan food. This place was exactly what I was looking for. A genuine local place where the food was fresh, flavourful and full of spice and chilly!! The service is amazing. Considering no one really spoke English they were very nice and I basically just pointed at the items in the display and they served it up. It’s no frills proper food and if you get a chance to have some it’s at a bloody good price too. Thank you!

Family-run bustling restaurant serving delicious vegetarian and non-vegetarian dishes. A wide variety of Tamil culinary offerings. Loved the pittu kothu! Quick and courteous service. A must visit restaurant in the heart of Wellawatte.
