This is a well maintained pool in Colombo with enough facilities to learn swimming. Ideal for beginners. Female coaches are also available.

It's a 33 meter long practice swimming pool. Deep end is about 15 feet deep with couple of high diving decks and a diving board. Parking available for about 20 vehicles. Day pass ticket for visitor adults and students is Rs. 600/=. Coaches available for swimming and diving lessons

It is a huge pool, even though it is lil bit old but well maintained by the school staffs itself. You can visit there after 5 p.m. in weekdays as a guest for swimming or else you can bring your own personal coaches and start practicing after getting the permission at the entrance.

I used this during my university life 🙃👍, i cant swim so i stayed away from the deep area . Security not allowed us to film sometimes. In overall i think the water is clean enough 😌 cuz kids have an another small pool area. If u cant swim stay away from the deep 💕🥰. We had a special pass to access the pool.

Beat value for money. Kids pool and adult pool. One of the oldest pools in government schools. There are signs of age in pool and dressing rooms. Good coaches for kids especially in the weekends. Cost just RS.150 for two hour pool ticket. Coaches charge RS 200 upwards per session. Canteen is horrible ! But can cross the road for a decent bite. All in all great value for money.

Royal college pool is at a convenient place with easy access. Ample parking. Good for evening and weekend relaxation as you get race course complex at the opposite in 2 mins walk.

I am a life member, former Secretary and a coach too. Opened in 1968. Very decent and cultured people and Royal College old boys visit this place. Clean and hygienic.
