Pretty relaxed pub/bar. Located very the famous Ministry of Crab. Seating for 50-60 people. Sometimes have live bands playing outside. Good service here. Food is pretty good too. Parking isn't easy though, better to cab it.

Used to be the Machan at the Dutch Hospital. But it seems like now they are passing the golden age. But still one of the best pubs in Colombo with a nice vibe on Fridays and Weekends. (The pub/restaurant is open on other days too) Live music is available on Fridays and Saturdays (Sometimes Thursdays, Sundays and randomly). I have never encountered a bad music band there. Both outdoor and indoor seating is available. But if you want to catch the vibe and dance, you have to catch a seat from the outside.

Great music band quite talented...they accept music requests too... food was excellent especially the calamari probably one of the best I've ever had the wings very good too great sauces and eye-catching plating

Excellent service, location. The music on the Friday night was fantastic. One of the best live bands in a very long time. Good, drinks all very responsible. Waiters excellent.

Nice place to hangout with friends. Food wasn’t that good and the portions were small as well. Staff was friendly and helpful. There was a live band performing. The place has both outdoor and indoor areas. Overall a good experience.

Just another place to have a beer with some friends. Can get crowded sometimes. Went there last week and they only had a beer named ‘Anchor’ which was not good. The food is overpriced. We ordered a sausage plate and it was full of vegetables and stuff, no sausages at all. The open area has a nice atmosphere specially at night.

Went here for two evenings because the first was such good fun! For somewhere called “tap house” the beer selection is terrible (you guessed it, Lion and Carlsberg), but it is made up for by the live bands they had on, the great vibe and the friendly waiters… the bands on particular on both nights were excellent!

Good atmosphere. Good music. Good food. Drinks are worth the money you pay and they are not that expensive. Smoking is allowed inside. Great place to hangout. Service is good as well. 5 stars.

Good music and atmosphere had a great time there. Well maintained area and cleaned tables. Meals were kinda good but portions were not enough. Loved the interior lighting and good music as well. Service charges and taxes were too much when comparing with other places. There's always good music/live playing during weekends.

It was a great day but only thing was the music got late to start but anyway the food and beverages was okay. Try to improve with sriankan baila music to impress more customers on the dance floor

Tap house is a nice place to grab a drink. There was a good live band with really good music . Food is average but the drinks are good and service is good. A nice place to go for a drink with friends. Reasonabily priced menu.

Visited a couple of days back. The ambiance of this place is amazing. The band sets the mood and gets the crowd going crazy. It was a really well set few hours. The food also was so so good, and the service was pretty fast, although there was quite a crowd that day. Prices are pretty reasonable. Highly recommended if you find yourself wanting to go out and eat, drink, dance and enjoy yourself.

Had a great time there. Very friendly service and well maintained area and cleaned tables. Foods were kinda good but fair enough for the price I guess. Loved the interior lighting and well music as well as the TV. Service charges and taxes were too much I guess when comparing with other places. Only con is they don't have soft drinks available, only variety of juices, Beers and alcohol.

I went because my friend wanted to go. I do not drink alcohol so I only got a spirit. My friend thinks the drinks were expensive than normal price. The band was horrible and loud. It was more of an annoyance. You are better off not having a band it was only a distraction than music. The food is below average.

Great vibes. Nice chilled out place. Music was great. The food and the drinks were decently priced. Choose a wooden table if possible as the cement ones are a little rough on your hands.

TTasty Bites, Great Beats! Visited Ta house and loved the flavorful side dishes – a taste explosion! The happening bands took the experience to the next level. Good vibes, great food, and awesome music make this pub a must-visit. 🎶🍔

Prabath, the chef, advised us for the food for our preferences (without vegetable oils). We choose for the home made gnocchi and it was really delicious!

Stopped by for drink and snack. The Thai passion mocktail had two ants, but we got a new one. Taste was too sweet and the Sprite in it seemed not fresh, had no more bubbles. The pol roti kottu - The Don consisted of roti pieces, vegetables, chicken pieces and spicy sauce. While I enjoyed the taste, I did not enjoy the bones in it very much. At 600 rupees the beer is 50% more than in the other bars in the same area.

Tasty food. Try the pol roti koththu or the dragon rice. The hot butter cuttlefish was superb. There was a nice band playing on Thursday evening. The service was pretty good too. Highly recommend 👌

Amazing place at the old Dutch hospital inner garden. Friendly waiters, lend us his phone for the internet hotspot for over 3 hours ,. With a life band and djs playing hit song on requests .

It's a very happening place in city center colombo. A Small restaurant with big courtyard. Every evening from 7.30 pm till midnight, a musical rock band performs there. I must say they are very good. Specialy the girl singer. Mostely local youngsters gathered and enjoy evening with food and beer. The good thing is anybody can sit there and enjoy music.

Very crowded on Fridays and Saturdays. There is live music on weekends and good food. Hard to find a waiter and order your food or beverages because it's so crowded. All and all this is a good place to have a beer and chill out with your friends or colleagues after a busy week. Beware of some people because not everyone comes here is decent and nice. Cheers 🥂

Love the food, the excellent service ( esp by Charith) and the band. Usually full on Fridays. Better to call ahead and reserve a table. Service is second to none. Food is reasonably priced.

Great atmosphere for nights for small groups. Friendly staff and good service. Chicken wings bite is delicious.

This is my go to place for drinks. The place is crowded on Fridays and Saturdays, but rest of the weekdays and Sundays are almost less crowded. Even though they don’t have a good variety of side dishes, you can enjoy good rates for the liquor. They have music on every Fridays. This place is really good for hangouts with friends. The waiters are supportive too.

Wow.. it was great the atmosphere was super. The band was excellent..sorry did not get the name of the band though.. really good vibes from them. They really got the crowd into the grove .and food is good too...
