Ladies night on wednesdays are a flop. Do not order their 'gin based' free cocktail for ladies. It feels like you are drinking pure alcohol with a touch of rose water. Love bar has set their bar too low on ladies night.

Bouncers assault people for no reason no manager available numbers are not working worst experience in Srilanka this is not a safe place for foreigners. When requested for a manager to inform how bouncers are unhinged. There response is our owner has connections do what ever you can. Sheran De Fonseka is this how you train your employees? Good luck.

It is not a good club for a white skin foreignor. I felt uncomfortable due to the atmosphere seems like jinx. And my feelings were exactly right because there was a fight between two drunk males . One accidently touched the other man's girl friends junk. But it was crowded so it must have been an accident. Anyway I did not like the crowd or the atmosphere. It is very hot and humid inside . Employees and security staff are not polite at all. They do not know manners . I went with two friends just to check the place because my friends wanted to go. I do not drink because I can not break my principals. Staff do not understand that part of not breaking principals. I drink lemonade , soda, juice... , My two friends drink so they bought alcohol. Employees expect you to buy even if you do not drink alcohol. This place is over crowded with young people who are in their early 20s. I just noticed single men can not enter. May be it is good for local Sri Lankans but not for foreignors. While leaving the place we saw one guy throwing up. The experience was bad but it was unique .

Had the worst experience ever, we called and made a reservation for 8 and i asked the person who took the reservation if we need to make a deposit and be able to redeem it he said no and hung up. So me any my friends who came down from overseas went over and the bouncers were like its full we cant let you in. And i was like i made a reservation and he just completely ignored us and didnt bother listening and here i am trying to contact the number that i called to make a reservation and no one picks up. Meanwhile i see so many youngster who don't seem like they would spend as much as i would on a Friday night out (No offense) are being sent in. The bouncers really need to have some class and be trained. We turned ourselves to chiller and we were welcomed and treated great there.

Very much over priced compared to what they offer. Not a great atmosphere either. Honestly, that place looked dodgy to me.

That one place you can enjoy to the max in the heart of colombo. Parking space is provided. DJ was not a grand one. Outside smoking area is there. A place where you can live in the moment and collect lot of memories.

Ridiculous!! Shame I can't give a less rating. I wouldn't go again even if I was offered money to go to Love Bar. Kept us waiting for more than an hour outside saying it's crowded but plenty of other people went in. Such drama. Fricking bouncers good for nothing. They act like they own the bloody place. Never again! Disappointed.

Waiting Staff and especially the security staff are not polite at all. They seem to look at everyone in a very odd manner and don't have any sense of creating a positive experience for their customers. This place is over crowded with folks that seems to be only checking out the place for the over hype it has created. Probably not for a chilled evening but a hunt for victory!

Some bouncers are not polite because of the bad experience maybe. You should rate the customers and treat them accordingly. Not good food all sweet and the cocktails were just ice and sugar and I doubt the 25 ML alcohol is actually 25 ML

Don’t be fooled by the crowded nature of this place over weekends. The service is average, drinks are overpriced and its got no vibe. When it is not crowded, couches inside and out are too dirty to sit on. And when it is busy, there is no way you can even move your shoulder. Mostly ppl in their early and md 20s

Good vibes and music. Had an awesome experience on the 9th with my wife after watching SL vs AUS match at the grounds. Bardenders were amazingly helpful. We ended up spending 50k that night and it was perfectly fair for the experience we had. Our experience was ruined by two bouncers who were drunk. They were acting like the owners of the club. We didn't care beacuse they were drunk. Overall experience was good except for the bouncer's part. We'll be back again. Hope bouncers will be sober and know their place in the club and stop predending like the owners.

Good place if you like house music. Their drinks are alright and prices also reasonable compared to similar places in Colombo. And have to mention about this person treating people so nice pleasant personality very kind the one with big body 🙌🏽 good job guys keep up the good work🙌🏽 💯💯

One of the most prominent clubs in Colombo. Great ambiance and they have 2 floors with different genres of music being played. It attracts some trendy crowd and quite busy during weekends. A wide range of alcohol beverages are offered at the bar and the prices seems moderate. The service is a bit slow, however the quality of the drinks are great. A perfect hangout spot for the weekend.

personally this is one of the best bars I've been and felt safe in. Fantastic vibes and you get free walk-in for ladies. The food we ordered was amazing and the drinks are probably the best I've ever had being to a bar. I would for sure recommend this place to any woman because of its overall safety and to everyone because the vibe, food and drinks are top notch.

The Typical club. Always good vibes when I go there. Drinks are alright. Again the main issue with every club , the annoying maintenance of Male to Female Ratio. I mean the best thing they can do is charge an entrance fee for both sexes without making it an annoying experience to gain entrance when you are of the male gender. Anyways all the times I've sneaked in , it has been a good experience , :P Cheers .

The bouncers steal! Don’t leave your things Un attended please. I caught a staff stealing a cigarette box off our table when we weren’t there. Extremely unprofessional.

It’s so bad it’s almost funny. Staff steals whatever you have near you, then they refuse to show you the cameras because “that one particular camera in that room wasn’t working that day”. Shady af. Just a massive joke. Also why is a small bottle of water Rs. 200?!

Understandable that the crowd was large but waiting 1 hour after repeatedly telling bartenders around 10 times as they serve everyone around you and blatantly ignore you to the point they just give smug looks is either a sign of incompetence on The Love Bar Colombo’s part or the bartenders have a serious ego/attitude problem. Very sad, considering the DJ and the music was good and we ended up spending our money on another place getting drinks which is sad because we were going to spend our money on somersby margaritas but since it never came we just spent our money someplace else.

Drunken bouncers attack people unsafe place to visit they act like they own the place. When requested a manager to speak managers are busy they have no time to speak. I will never go to this place again terrible . A place that destroy clubbing history of Srilanka .

It is a nice place to chill at night with your friends. They had a supercool DJ. And even the prices are reasonable. Atmosphere was nice and decent.

Came in here the security guard said no parking and that we had to leave.High time the management start training the security guys.

One of the best pubs around Colombo with great DJ's. Ladies walk-in free, and guys have to get a ticket to get in. It'll cost you Rs. 2000/ per head. Couples can get in without a reservation. If it's a group of guys, recommended to put reservations. (For locals). A bit expensive compared to other pubs in Colombo, but worth the price. Fridays are crowded, but what is a pub without the crowd eh? Highly recommended to try it out.

One less star because the staff I've noticed are rude to people who don't spend too much to the point there was one person who had to follow a bartender until he took notice of him to get a bottle of beer. Entrance issue, they charging money for entrance, but not all people it’s kind of discrimination. They charge money from some people.
