Not satisfied by this. And we orders kochi cheese bites that’s also not worth so be sure what you gonna order. For today service not recommended. Review - old Place atmosphere is so good. Price range was reasonable. Food quality, quantity and the taste are good. There are lots of varieties to taste and eagerly waiting to taste other dishes too. Recommend 🥰. One of the great hangout places in Colombo. Love the ambiance and the deco. The ground floor is where you get the typical restaurant type setup but from the first floor onwards you'll get the real hangout experience. Very spacious and have plenty of private areas to have group events. Also had PlayStation but couldn't access it due to network issues. When comes to food, you have to decide the menu and pay before enjoying it. This is one of the huge flows I see. Food is tasty, especially the Lemongrass chicken, burger, Japanese prawns fry (starter), etc. However, the freshness went by the time they handover. So when you place an order make sure to inform them to deliver with the heat (without waiting till the other dishes finish). Prices are a bit high but acceptable for the environment. Staffs are super friendly and very supportive. Overall enjoyed the evening and recommend the place if you're going with your friends or family events.

We went for and team gathering there and place was really good . We made reservations for black room and around 12 -14 people can manage comfortably. The manager is super helpful and provides the food . Only downside is they only have single portion size which is super annoying to order for groups. If they have something with large portions which can manage for teams is really helpful.

Visited this place a while back. It has a great ambiance with a rustic appeal to it. The place was spacious and would be ideal to have a group outing. However, it can be crowded on busy days, especially on the evenings. Food was excellent with prices in the higher range, but justified by both in terms of quality and taste. Good portion size too while the presentaitons was also top-level. Staff were friendly and attentive. Overall it was a great experience and would recommend it as a cool hangout spot with your friends and family.

The place has a great ambience and also welcoming! It is very spacious and a cool pace to hangout. Also, they do offer private rooms as well for gatherings. I have been to this place several times and the last was few months back. The food was presented well. However, the taste needs to improve. The portion sizes are good. Some dishes are too small, like the calamari dish. Parking space is limited. Value for money is average.

Java lounge is one of my favorite coffee shop around the Colombo. Very good coffee and cakes. Staff is always on point and friendly.

The food is good and service was ok,but you have to go to the cashier first and make the order since they don't serve the menu to the table. Also, the inside look is not as elegant as you see from the outside. The cushions in the chairs were damaged and scratched,flies were everywhere and air conditioning was not enough, so we had to move from table to table to find a comfortable zone.

Vibe in the place is five star. Super cozy, calm and warm. Ideal for a peaceful hangout with a special one or a bunch of friends. Service is fast, good and friendly. Food is good. Value for money for the food is average.

I must say that the dishes here are really beautiful, the presentation I would say is top notch. Unfortunately, the taste doesn't add up to to the looks and I was rather disappointed. Also, be prepared to wait for you meal is they take quite a bit of time to get back to you. Other than that, the ambience is rather nice and there is a lot of space.

Good cozy place to chill with friends

Had a lunch with a family at the Executive Room. Room looks very tired, definitely needs refurbishment (especially the window which was conveniently covered with a curtain when we came), doesn't worth the price we paid which is more than 15k. Food was OK, nothing made me say wow, I think the restaurant needs to refresh itself, the menu, service, it feels outdated. Overall for a simple lunch/dinner it's not a bad place to come maybe once.

Very nice environment. The room we chose is painted in black, and the lighting gives us a nighttime atmosphere. The food is tasty and in sufficient quantity. The drinks are also tasty and plentiful. The art in the restaurant is very nice. I recommend foodies to try it at least once.

It used to be a nice cafe with a great menu. Its quality and taste of food have declined. The service attitude too.

Cold latte was very good and I enjoyed club sandwiches as well. Brownie cake wasn't fresh though, so it spoiled the mood a bit. Staff is very attentive and helpful, bit prices are higher than I expected. All in all it's a nice coffee shop not far from Colombo railway station.

I had lunch here with a person who has severe dietary restrictions. No gluten, no dairy, and GERD. We ordered the Big brekkie and the chef was really really considerate of the requirements and took special care to make sure my partner didn't have any sort of reaction to the food. He also plated it in a cute way to make our day! Highly highly recommended. Do talk to the chef if you get a chance. Super super professional and a really kind person. Loved my time there. The interior is really pretty too and a really chill place to get some work done

Great calm atmosphere with some exceptional food. The place offers great interacting space for your studies, discussions and even for Sunday lunch outs. They have a great series of food for a reasonable price. Portion size was good as well. One point to mention, we had to wait about 45 minutes for our foods after we placed the order, but nothing to complain about the taste or the presentation.

Two stories restaurant which has a good ambience. Sometimes seats are filled with working teenagers with laptops. Depends on the day, the place may get noisy. You can stay there for longer time. PlayStation in the upper floor. Very spacious. Food is good and portions are satisfactory. You must go to the counter and order.

Great place to hangout with friends. Foods are really tasty & in a good quality. But little expensive. There are several packages. Black room is good for hangout with 10-12 people. Executive room is not comfortable and hasn’t a enough space. Recently no maintenance done and wash rooms in Black room is out of service. However The Embazzy is a excellent place in Colombo to hangout with friends. Also, couples and family can enjoy in this place too. Early reservation for Black room and other rooms might needed in weekends since it’s crowded in weekends.

This place is amazing. Great ambience, and very spacious. Ideal to get some peace and get work done or to meet up with friends. The staff is very friendly and they graciously gave us good recommendations when we visited. We ordered their signature sea food pasta plate, a mixed fried rice and a drink - what they call the Mango Sago Thingy. The two dishes were delicious and but the drink was exceptional. They make it with mango, vanilla ice cream and sago. It was quite sweet and smooth. Great experience overall. Would visit again soon.

Their breakfast is fairly nice. One of the best for basic eggs in Colombo. There aren't many places that do good breakfast in Colombo anyways. Friendly staff and comfortable seating.

This cafe was in the same complex as our hotel. According to the timings on their door,its open till 11 pm . So we decided to go on our first day at 9.30pm. It was already closed. So next day we decided to go early at around 8 pm. We ordered for a latte. It tasted like the coffee we make in our hotel rooms. Completely bland. By 9pm they informed us we r closing so time to leave. Ambiance is decent. Thats about it. Coffee is expensive for the quantity and quality served.

Last week was my last time at Embazzy 🙂 It was open for dine in although the options were very limited - specially for me as a vegetarian. Nevertheless the person at the counter who took my order was super friendly, I asked him for vegetarian options, and we all had a good laugh about how tough a life of a vegetarian is. I remember making specific comments about the cheese kottu, because that was the only thing I could eat there. We got our drinks fast enough and then we were patiently waiting for our food although we were starving. We would have waited for over an hour and suddenly another lady came switching off the lights and she informed us in an annoyed tone, that they were about to close. They didn't even realize that we were waiting for our food for the past hour. Apparently the KOT hadn't been raised and they apologized and we waited a little more patiently to receive an extremely spicy cheese toast, but my kottu never came. Apparently he has "forgotten" to take it down. So my dinner that day was two small pieces of extremely hot carelessly prepared cheese toasts, because they forgot my order 🙂 I also really didn't feel anyone took that seriously. And the whole experience was very disappointed. Won't be visiting this place again. The commons which is next door on the other hand was very accommodating 🙂

A restaurant with a relaxed atmosphere. Has AC rooms upstairs (with CCTV) for get-togethers and conferences, make sure you reserve beforehand. Food is not bad, but kinda expensive. The decor is very retro themed with a modern touch. Staff is very friendly.

I recently visited this restaurant and was extremely disappointed with my experience. The first thing I noticed was the overwhelming number of flies buzzing around the dining area. It was very distracting and unpleasant. Had to use a paper serviette to cover one dish. Even worse was the quality of the food. Overall, I would not recommend this restaurant to anyone. The unsanitary conditions and mediocre food left me feeling very dissatisfied.

The rice and pasta dishes were good. Sorry to say but the fish on the fish and chips were bland. Nice place to chill with my friends though.

The inside of the restaurant is very nice and have unique antique type old looking desin which is amazing. You can even book a private room for your family or company dining. The quality of the food is extremely high. Food is quite expensive here but worth it to try out. Have vegetarian options in menu.

It used to be one of my favourite places ever but during my latest visit, it felt a bit off. We had the English Breakfast which was good but the chicken in the rice dish was very tough, although the dish itself tasted good. Prices have gone up. But I still personally feel it's one of my top picks just based on the quality of the food.

The Embazzy is located in the Flower Road and has a large selection of food from many different countries and has a huge menu. 😁 The thing i loved most about them was their place with a great architecture which gives them a very unique look. They served the food really fast within 5 to 10 mins. But their biggest issue was that their food wasn’t fresh enough. I don’t understand why though. 🙃 Very friendly service. Tends to get rather busy during the weekends. With the upstairs packed. People should try this place sometime. 🙂

Visited few weeks ago and food was not as good as it used to be. We ordered a meat platter and a chicken waffle, both of them were not hot enough. Everything lukewarm (even the egg and sausage). Cheese on the top of the waffle was cold and hard like rubber.

One of the best place for some type of a cool beverages as well as hot drinks. They also serve several types of foods specially sweets. Well placed inside the Dutch hospital area. Highly recommend this cool beverage- Brownie Frap. You will feel heaven. Prices are reasonable and you wont regret it. Specially got to tell you that the place is so comfortable you to spend few minutes on those couches and chairs hahaha. And so their service is bit faster than I expected.

The food was decent. Prices are a bit above average. They’ve got two PS4s, that you could use while you’re there.

I celebrated my 21st birthday yesterday at the Embazzy. The staff was very friendly, very helpful and provided us everything that need for the preparations for the party. We stayed in a separate room and they respected our privacy and cooperated with us throughout the party. The food was delicious and I thank them again for making my day so special. Only thing which I could rate better is their food. Really bad customer service. We booked a private space on 1st floor for an office gathering and we had to get to downstairs 4 times by our own to collect the menu, order food , order beverages and to pay the bill. They only come upstairs to serve you. The private space was terrible with leftovers from the previous gathering on the tables. It was not cleaned or sanitized at all. They don't give a × about the customer as long as they get money.

Not worth the price. Food was often dry or lacking flavor and this is after making us wait over an hour and a half for it. Additionally, the room that a group of friends and myself paid for was in shambles. AC was apparently not serviced in a long time and the arms of the couches were broken if remember correctly. The only thing worthwhile commending is the staff friendliness.

We didn't have to wait long for the food and the portions were generous and delicious , also priced reasonably. The staff were friendly and helpful. Beautiful atmosphere.

A nice place to hangout. Have a very nice view and the food is great. Really enjoyed the “Avo Buster” dish with poached eggs and avocados. Also the “cheese fries” portion is good and tasty. Their corn dogs aren’t the best but the rest is good.

Prices are definitely on the higher side hence the reason for less crowd. You have to pay at the cashier and then make your order. You cannot order , eat and then pay. We paid for our food and went upstairs. While having our meals , we wanted two water bottles and they wanted us to pay right there while eating. I was quite shocked with the system.

On my second visit here, tried out a cappuccino paired with a brownie, packed with a generous dash of cashews per serve. A tad too sweet for my liking. The chocolate cheesecake was a delicacy with a soft-biscuity base and luscious spread of cream cheese. Service wasn't exemplary but staff was kind and courteous.

This place is really nice and quiet. Even this is located in a busy urban area, you will very rarely hear the sound of a vehicle. You can experience a high quality english breakfast while talking your time without any disturbance. They have arranged the place is such a way that it gives you a homely feeling. Staff was very helpful and polite. There is sufficient space to park around 5 - 8 vehicles without much problem.

But less variety of mains, and I bought a Cajun seafood rice which has 3-4 prawns and small piece of cuttlefish but lot of sausages for Rs.2100.00 ! The dishes were small and not worthy for the price as per my experience
