The food is amazing. I was so happy to eat here. Just because of some communication issues i find waiters to be untrained. Rest everything was so delicious. Mushrooms Paneer Daal Indian breads Chocolate milkshake All was very good the green chutney is a must to try. I seriously recommend this place to all the people who love Indian food

The corn tikki was average. Chilli cheese naan was good. Butter paneer had a ketchup feel to it. Wouldn't visit again. Nice ambiance, average food and service.

Can give 7/10 for food. We ordered two biryanis, Three lime drinks, One mango lassi. Total bills 12199/= . Let us assume that the service charge is 929/=. But 1974/= has been collected as Tax. They steal Money from consumers under the pretense of food, service charges and taxes.

Awesome hotel and awesome food. Just loved the food for it's quality and also quantity. A must visit hotel for a traveller. You will love the food. But price wise if you ask, it's gonna dent your pockets as even packaged water costing Rs. 50 is charged at Rs. 225 plus 10% service charges and 18% taxes. Highly recommended for a group.

Amazing north Indian food! We went there for lunch and service was great. If I had to suggest an improvement, I'd say replace the see through bathroom door ... That's a bit odd.

I stopped in for dinner on Dec 30th with my wife and two adult daughters, it was completely unplanned, we just happened to be in the area. We ordered a Paneer Tikka and I liked it but others didn’t care for it. My daughters shared a Mutton Biryani and Mixed Raita and they didn’t like it. My wife and I ordered Butter chicken, Mutton Roganjosh, some plain/butter Naan and rice. I really liked the Naan and Butter Chicken. The Butter Chicken was not like I’m used to having in the USA, it was better. However, the Mutton Roganjosh was just OK and didn’t have too much Mutton in it. We also had a Mango Lassi, a Faluda and Fruit Salad and all of them were good. I don’t think I’ll be coming back to this restaurant for a while because the food was OK, it wasn’t something that I would crave to come back here for.

They are clearly violating the SL laws. Water bottle worth 75 rs is sold to 225 rs. Food is good but these kind of unusual pricings should brought before courts.

Total waste off money..ordered a mutton biriyani...few mutton cubes added to pilau rice and served with an egg instead of fried egg. No cashews. Plus green and red chutney which is for Dosa. No biriyani rice served...no taste of Biriyani Price..Rs 2100 Tax. Rs 408 Total. Rs 250 Better of buying a lamb or mutton curry from anywhere and buy a in pilau rice and an egg from a normal shop..

I had dinner here on my birthday. First thing I noticed was the unwelcomeness from the staff. And it remained the same for the duration of the meal. The atmosphere is meh. Small place and very small washroom. The plus point was thst food was good. We ordered a dahi puri to my wifes recommendation and I think I somewhat came close to nirvana gaking that bite. First bite you feel the cold tangy yogurt, probably lassi spurt in to my mouth and it get completed with the out crispy shell and other stuff in it. It was well worth the price. We also ordered some chicken kebab which I loved as well. The rotti platter was a very good idea and we ate to our hearts content. I would love the flavours to a bit bold though.

The food tastes amazing BUT I would not recommend going to eat here unless you want to put a hefty amout of money on the table. We ordered a biriyani, chicken tikka, half a chicken, raita, 2 naans, rasamalai and kulfi and the bill came up to a shocking LKR 18,000.00 odd amount. Not to forget that this was only for 2 people. Soon afterwards 4 people including myself went to eat at Beverly Cafe and then Flower Drum on two seperate days; ordered a way larger amount of food items with a couple of meat items and the total bill only came up to LKR 11,000.00 and LKR 9,000.00 respectively. Thus, Mango Tree is clearly overpriced and will not ever plan on going there again. Also paying that much of a hefty amount is not worth it at all because you can get the same food items from plenty other places for a better price.

The food was really good. The prices are a bit on the higher side though, considering that service charge and taxes are excluded from that. The new location in Deal Place is quiet and well lit, although it misses the charm and Indian ambience of it's original location.

If you are looking for a place to have lunch after 3PM around Nugegoda. I think this is the spot. You can have thai or Indian rice in Nugegoda Mango Tree @ the grove. Nice location and friendly staff. presentation is great and worth for the money.

Went to their new location recently for Dinner and must say that the place is very shabby with cheap tables and chairs squeezed into a very small dining area which is an old house renovated a bit. Poor ambience and not worth for the price you pay. Their previous place was much much better and spacious. Here, a very limited parking along a residential area. No complaints about the quality of food, which is good. Need to relocate to some good location suitable for a Restaurant soon.

16.12.23, ordered delivery at Mango Tree at 6:00pm, to deliver at 7:00pm. They sent mail via appi go!? Could not track delivery, called them 5 times, 3 wheeler driver got lost! Finally arrived cold at 8:30pm! Absolutely hopeless service! Cannot recommend you have been warned!!!

Delicious food, the tikka chicken is to die for, I went there twice to eat it again ! A little pricey for Colombo but it was really good. Cosy place too.

Food is okay, remotely Indian if you are craving or missing Indian food. Place is clean and fairly neat, if not exactly fine dine. Prices are slightly on the higher side but then this is a decent area.

My go-to Indian food restaurant. Nothing can top their mutton dishes. The whole experience is worth trying 😍 I’m visiting there at least once a month. That’s how good they are.

Bought a Mutton Boneless Biryani, it was so bad, it tasted sort of sweet, no flavor at all. The Mutton was way too tender, it didn't even feel like eating meat. I was charged 2300 for it, never been so disappointed with a meal. I don't know if it was just a one time thing, but I'd skip Biriyani.

Went for dinner last sunday, as an Indian i can assure one of the best North Indian foods available in colombo. Its bit expensive but worth to try. We went without booking however the manager arranged one table for us. Good service, recommend to make reservation before going there.
