They do not have hot water, the floor of all the rooms is dirty (we checked 5 with no success of cleaning), breakfast is included, but it is awful, the windows of all rooms face a kind of machine for air conditioning. Turning on the TV exploded the plug. We complained about everything and despite being very polite, they gave us no solution. We paid 80 $ for two days and certainly would not recommend this hotel to anyone. Quality / price is not worth it, look for another place even if it is not so central, your ears will appreciate it when you are not sleeping in your "Deluxe Room" with the bus beeps.

Not good. It was dirty furniture, dirty curtains and bathroom, some small stains on the bedsheets too. But I think it was washed anyway. They were also renovating so maybe it will be better soon. On the plusside was that staff was friendly anyway. And it was close to the citycentre and the nice park.

Very good location.couple of sea beaches nearby. Restaurants,supermarkets are in walking distance.Manager Parthee is very good person. Always ready to help.Best stay so far

Ok so I didn't expect a good place like this in this area. You know how sometimes you see awesome pictures online and when you go there in actuality you get a dump of a room? With this place what you see is what you get (except for the rooms being a little smaller than they seem in the pitures) They have the basic amenities with proper value for money. Comparing with the other places in the same price range .. this is way up there and at a very central location. Hope they continue to maintain the cleanliness and standards that they currently have.

They have a nice spot on 6th floor roof top. Though it is the roof top, it is well covered so you do not need to bother about the weather. Parking is the problem. There's parking only for a couple of vehicles. They do not sell liquor, you can BYOB for a nominal corkage fee and have it there. Food was great. Reasonable pricing.

This hôtel is very cheap and well situated. But you must accept that it is not new and need a big refresh. I had no paper in the toilets... My towel was teared, really teared. Nex time, I will pay a bit more a better quality.

The property is in a crucial condition. Untidy with no proper staffs to receive us. And please demolish all the expectations you arose while booking a room in this particular inn. It's right opposite to this. There is no proper viewing area, no ironing service. All the unwashed fabric materials you find inside the room would have been used by a 100 people.

Location is good... but service is very poor... they don't give even the complimentary items( like, toiletry items, towels, tea bags or water bottle) , if you don't ask for it. I gave 2 stars only for their location.

Basic old room and bathroom. Cleanliness could be improved as the bathroom was old and dirty. Bed was just fine though the sheets looked worn out. There is nothing much in the small room. 1 bottle of water is provided. No kettle or instant tea/coffee in the room. The cupboards are old. Tv is fine. A/c gets too chill for the tiny room. The hotel corridors are old. The only good thing is the location. It’s in the centre of the city with everything at a walking distance like the Galle Face green malls restaurants train station Mosque and parks. There is a Keels supermarket at just 250meters from the hotel. The price I paid was $19 which is reasonable but I expected better quality. There are better hotels/hostels with fresh rooms at this price in Colombo.

Location, Service and Obviously the rent..If you want to get all three advantage for your Colombo tour..Thilhara should be your ultimate choice. Stuffs are very friendly too...I was there for 20 days..and my experience is excellent 👌 Thanks Thilhara 🇱🇰

Great stay in the heart of Colombo. Close to Colombo Fort train station. Galle Face is a quick 15 minutes walk away as well Rooms have room for improvement when it comes to maintenance and cleaning.

The rooms were clean but I think they need some upgrades. It's looking to get a bit old and i suggest that the service could be more professional as well. Overall there was not much to complain about since we came late at night and left early in the morning so we were there to sleep. If you have any business to do around Union Place, then this is one of the best options to stay.

Location was ok and staff friendly but the amount of ants in the room become very frustrating. And lots of insect bites during our stay.

The Hotel is ok, the photos are very out dated! The best thing is the personal, like Parthee, he made our stay so much better, without him this Hotel can close since its very old and not comfortable.

Horrible experience the manager of the hotel was very rude the booking .com rate was 20 Dollars per day but the hotel manager asked for asked for 10 dollars extra per day if I didn't give it he said he will cancel my booking it was heavily pouring out side so I had no option to agree never going there again such people can single handedly damage a beautiful countrys reputation 😡😡

Poor customer service. Bathroom sinks were clogged. Not worth for the price.

Be ready not to find all the facilities described, since we didn’t even receive a bath towel! Not exactly clean, nor “finished”, so the overall impression is that of being in the middle of a renovation. The guy at the reception was nice and, seen the good location, it’s ok for spending two nights in Colombo.

This is a basic hotel located on a very busy street. Its set back from the street edge make it distinct from rest of the buildings. Although it doesn't have its own restaurant there are some food options nearby.
