I love coffee n my favorite coffee place is Starbucks. Normally I ask them to make my drinks extra hot coz I like my coffee to be hot till I finish drinking. I have been to this place 3-4 times n this happened to me all times. I ordered a Vanilla Latte n I asked them to make it extra hot. But it wasn’t the correct temperature ... It should be 180°F when a customer ask you to make it extra hot. I doubt it was at least under the normal temperature ...

Very Good Coffee and Tea Drinks- Service if friendly and fast (Except for when it comes to food). The Food is very average with the exclusion of the breakfast menu which is really rather good. Drinks are expensive but somewhat worthy of their price. There are plenty of couches and tables as well as an outdoor area for those who wish to smoke. Good For a casual hangout. THe place is reasonably clean

Been here after a while and it looked like some renovations were going on. Can't wait to see the new look, if that is what was happening... Onto the coffee ordered. Unfortunately they were out of ice blended 😱 so we stuck with the iced latte. Was not extremely happy with it and personally it lacked a little of the key ingredient "the coffee". Would give it a 3 out of 5. Food wise the range looked good, price wise was not too entising when compared to the portions. Will review the taste some other time. Till then looking forward to them.allowing people to dine in and defenitly give the ice blended a shot and re-review it.

Great place to enjoy a hot or a cold beverage, prices are bit steep compared to other cafes in the area. They also have few pastry items and cakes, and also there were few power outlets on the top floor so you can charge your phone/laptop

This place is amazing!! This is a good place to work, study or chill with your friends. The service was good!! The cakes and drinks are all tasty and worthwhile. I would probaly say that this coffee shop is a must coffee lovers!! I just want to keep coming back to this place!!

A great place to visit if you are visiting Colombo. This is our favourite place whenever we are in Colombo Sri Lanka. Great coffee, undoubtedly the best coffee in Colombo. Most importantly, staff are very professional, respectful & courteous, which is very important. The owners of this franchise, too, must be very decent & and courteous because that reflects in the staff. This is a good place for coffee, meetings, chitchat, and family fun. Beautifully designed, clean, at a great location with ample parking.

This was by favorite coffee place in Colombo before the Economic crisis and I was devastated to see this place closed down. Glad to see this opened again and ambience is better than earlier. Compared to Barista, the space is larger but the coffee beans need to improve to give more aroma to the consumer. Overall happy to see you back and glad there are various options offered, compared to other coffee shops.

The servers get angry and defensive sometimes when I inform them about wrong orders. Happened to me a few times. Additionally, really need to address the fly issue. Sometimes there seems to be quite bit of flies inside the outlet downstairs

We ordered 2 caramel latte and double chocolate latte. One of the caramel latte tasted different than other so we inquired from counter and they agreed to changed and served again. That is appreciable because they accepted the fault. Double chocolate latte was ok and coffees were not so hot as we expected. I won’t give lower stars because I haven’t tried there other menus and we just had coffees.. definitely i will visit next time and I tried to give full review about there dishes. It’s a good place to hangout with friends and u can spend quality time in the ambience.

Went there for lunch on a weekday. The place had a few customers. You might have to park your vehicle beside the main road. The staff greets you as you enter the restaurant. They are very courteous and pleasant. The ambience is good. They have two floors for indoor dining and an outdoor dinning area too. Very cozy atmosphere to relax. The menu has savouries ranging from burgers to sandwiches to wraps to cakes and varieties of coffee. You have to pay first and the food gets delivered to your table. The chicken burger was good. The ultimate coffee was tasty too. We tried their apple pie which tasted well. Overall good experience. Warning: try to opt for indoor dining as there were a lot of flies in the outdoor area.

Out of all the coffee joints in town this is probably in the most convenient location. Just visited few days back for a meeting. Actually I thought it is permanently closed as it was actually closed few months back. It was really nice to see everything is back up and running and the quality of things is perfect as you can expect from a Coffee Beans.

Visited for the first time post-renovation. The ambiance is cozy and serene, perfect for studying or catching up with friends. The matcha green tea was delightful. While there are numerous seating choices, power outlets are limited. The absence of WiFi and ongoing repairs downstairs were minor inconveniences. Although meals weren't available, they offer a diverse selection of coffee, tea, cakes, and pastries. The atmosphere is enhanced by the soothing backdrop of piano music.Definitely check this place out if you are looking for a quiet, cosy reading nook or just some time alone with a warm cup of coffee.

A must visit coffee shop in srilanka. They have a wide range of selection for coffee, tea and chilled beverages. Also you can find some quality cheese cakes, lasanya and cookies. It was very calm and quite place where u can spend some quality time with your partner or with your friends. You can smoke in the outside seating area of the restaurant. The prices are avarage.

Cozy place great for short business discussions, super location, i liked the cappuccino but not so great , but the taste of the chicken pastry is great and it is sri lankan spicy recipe to me, there are other stuff looks great haven't tried yet parking available, restrooms are nice and clean. outside seating available as well as upstairs too.

Great place to get some productive work/ discussions done. Equally great for a chilled out conversation whilst having a great cup of a quality coffee. Reasonably priced & most importantly, a convenient location. All coffee variants are great options to choose from... you won't go wrong with it. In case you're not into coffee... their cup of orange juice has juice off 4 fresh oranges!

This place is opened after renovation recently but now the atmosphere looks same as before nothing changed sofas and chairs are dirty and coffee test is not good as before, coffee and food price really high if you compare with food quality , portion size also smaller then before, but I recommend for meetings because this place have more space. I suggest the management to take a note if not they going to loose many Customers.

Had a terrible experience there. No chair to sit, whole place is being renovated. You can buy drinks to take away, but no matching lids for coffee (they would put a large lid and tape it on to the cup, and its your duty not to spill it). No sugar packs to take away, either its in your coffee, or have to put sugar in another cup. No cash accepted, only cards. For my order, they served me wrong snack, and refused to replace it with correct snack after payment. If the owners can't offer at least basic curtesy, just close this till renovation is over.

Coffee Bean and Tea Leaf at Maitland Cresent, Colombo 7 Location - In Maitland Cresent at the Horton place junction. Parking slots available for 8-9 vehicles both in front and at the back, and parking along Maitland Cresent is possible during the nights. Ambience - Two floors of spacious seating. Both the floors have outdoor seating. The ground floor is usually crowded and noisy when compared to the top floor. Service - As most other coffee spots, you need to order at the counter and you’ll be served at your table. The preparation and service time was impressive. We got everything we ordered in less than 5minutes! Food - Ordered a tandoori chicken pizza, a tuna sandwich, A double chocolate drink and a chocolate mousse drink. The tandoori pizza was pretty decent having six rectangular slices. The dough of the tandoori pizza was thin, crispy and soft. The topping had the right amount of everything that is required and tasted good and how it should be despite some of the chicken pieces being charred. The tuna sandwich although it was good, wasn’t what we was expecting. The bread was soft and had a considerable amount of Tuna but it was too much tuna for our liking. Both the drinks were really good but there was nothing much different about the two drinks. You will find hard to say which is which only by the taste. VFM - If you are looking for a place to hangout, with good food and good drinks, would say this is the go to place. Although prices of the drinks are slightly on the higher side, would give it for them given that you can hangout for as much time as you want here. Good place to hang out and also do informal meetings over a coffee etc.. Accepts only credit cards. (no cash payments) Also no juices, which is a big negative point.

Use to have a morning coffee when im going to University. Not that the perfect coffee but its really good.

Ambiance in the seating area was good. The cakes were highly priced with average qualty. Even the coffe they had was mediocre. We were really taken away when we were informed about a seating area where 2000 is charged. It should have been mentioned somewhere rather than us coming to know from a staff member once we were seated. The staff at the cashier is of poor quality without any professionalism.

I went to the outlet at the Horton place and ordered a caramel tart to take with me amount other things. They put the tart in a small paper bag and all the caramel was soaked into the paper bag. I was so disappointed to see how badly their services has come down. They used to pack the take away items properly in plastic containers. For the price we pay for the food we buy, The coffee bean's standards has gone down to the local mudalali's kade services.

This is my number one spot for a smashing hot chocolate with cream and chicken quiches that are to die for. But unfortunately these days the cream isn't there which is my only complaint.

Tasty collection of coffees and snacks are available here. Usually crowded towards the evening, still a relaxing place to taste a coffee leisurely. There’s a premises outside near the car park for smoking. Price is not much different from other places where coffees of similar grade are sold in Colombo.

Haven't had whipped cream and caramel over 5 months now. But still this is my to go place for a small meeting. Staff is very present and helpful. Lack of the supplies is the only downfall.

Not sure what happened to this place. Peak lunch hour and there is one staff named Chaminda having to do cashiering, make the drinks and serve the food. Is this coffee bean or coffee kade, I'm not sure. And something even funnier is that they had no takeaway boxes or bags. International franchise and no takeaway packaging. Foods still great, but no ice blended caramel

Good place to have a chat or do your work. Provide 45mins of free wifi with each purchase you make. Customer care is alright. Not enough parking space .wash rooms aren't well maintained and not enough space.

The staff here need to be trained, employees are singing and talking loudly when there entire place is deserted. It’s really hard to focus to work or study altogether. Note this is not a place you want to go to get some work done in the Pandemic Period,especially since they’ve closed off the 1st floor from occupancy. Hope the management actually sees this and reverts back and takes action.

It is an ideal place to sit down with your friends and family, to do some work, or have business meetings. I use this place as a meeting point as I could meet friends in this very relaxed atmosphere. If you order food or coffee, The staff serves both Food and Coffee together, so when it is time to have your coffee, it is not hot enough. I find that a lot of coffee shops do this same mistake :-) The best thing is, most of the time, you would be able to park your vertical at the car park, in front or behind The staff is good and also the service. I found that, food items are in the showcases are made of plastics :-) therefore there is a possibility of what you see and what you get would not be the same :-). I love the food and drinks at this coffee shop.

Go for beverages only. Standard of food has dropped. They served stale food; got it exchanged for more stale food. Watch out.
