I went for a quick test, channelled my doc and then waited for 2 hours. Rapid antigen test is a must do if you are an inpatient. COVID-19 staffs isn't that friendly. Not Organized, patients' waiting in a long queue like a government hospital. Overall Bad Experience

The service of this pharmacy at the ground floor is terrible. I had to wait about 20 minutes in the front desk to handover my prescription. There is no clear procedure to purchase the medicines. The front pharmacist guy takes too much time to read the prescription. Once you pay, still have to wait like another 20,25 minutes in the queue to collect your meds. Certainly, not satisfied at all about the service from the ground floor pharmacy.

Be careful and think twice before you go to take the service from this place. Charging Unnecessary charges comparing to other hospitals. Charge 290803/= for minor bioxy surgery (one day 6 hours stay-without room/meals/laboratory service ) you have to take other services with separate charges. Consultation charges 160000/= (Amazing) Hospital Charge 130000/= (verbal quotation was only 35000/=) Staff hiding and not providing incorrect price information prior to service and they will charge unreasonable amount after the service. Charged 5 star amount, But Provide wrong Medical Certificate to patient. Service was poor. Nursing staff even not assisting patient to take wash room. They wait for me. They ask me to buy two tablets penadine from the pharmacy and ask me to deliver bioxy sample without proper packaging. separate charge for lab reports. Facilities are in minimum standard level. Did not offer any meals/tea or coffee to patient. Uncomfortable waiting place with noisy of the staff. Provide common invoice and some of items are with incorrect amounts. Failed to provide even two tablets of penadine but the pharmacy charges become 20000/=. High prices are all the items. Do not follow controllable price in the market. Disposable face mask - Rs 404/= Beterdine - 4200/= Disposable cap - 83/= Disposable glove - 104/= Ansel gloves - 840/= Below images for your reference. Do not recomand this place for innocent patient who come to take service in an Emergency.

I used visit their dental unit frequently due to having not so strong teeth. Did number of normal fillings, nerve fillings, crown implants etc. Their charges were always high, which I didn't mind at all. But after one or two years they started charging something under title channelling fee (apart from hospital charges & doctors fee). I asked from reception what is that for, because i was not channelling any doctors, I'm just going to my regular doctor, which most of the times for continuous procedures, eg: for a nerve filling which has few steps of fillings, so that i have to visit dental unit more than one time. Reception did not had any answers. they just said it's hospital s decision. I decided it was ok, because I still believed Asiri is a large, private hospital, their care is good so it would still be worthy to pay couple of extra bucks. Then there was this corona situation & after first wave & election, everything changed back to normal & I had to visit dental again, this time they charged extra Rs.1000 under title Corona precaution charges & THAT WAS IT!. No matter how luxury hospital is, its useless, if it doesn't have empathy. Rs.1000 for what ? some extra sanitisers ? I mean its dental, corona or no corona, you cannot use same equipments for second patient. I asked for reception what kind of precautions are they taking for rs.1000. Their answer was for some sanitising. Totally disappointing. rs. 1000 is not a big deal, I just do not like their approach during this kind of pandemic situation. Just pathetic. I Changed my hospital & doctor, now I'm visiting another dental care unit in one of large private hospital. & They are giving all you can have sanitisers or soap, tissues free. No extra charges for precautions.

The Central Hospital. 14 storey building located close to General hospital and National eye hospital. Usually a busy place and crowded with people for channelings. Hospital is well maintained and staff is helpful. The hospital has all the facilities and it is comfy. You have enough space to sit down and wait till the doctors come. There is a nice fish tank for mind relaxing. Onsight pharmacies available and seperate sections available for each diseases and treatments. The pharmacy is great and has adopted new technologies where you have to pay and get the number and on the screen you can see when your order is getting processed.

I had a disappointing experience at Asiri Central Hospital. The focus seems more on profit than patient care. Overpriced rooms, high admission fees, and a hefty 18% VAT make it an expensive choice. Adding to the admission fee, they charge for parking within their premises, which is absurd given the already steep costs. Consider alternatives for a more reasonable and patient-friendly healthcare experience. The nurses including the head nurse are money minded. They are even trying to put the patient in ICU for no reason where the patient was feeling okay. To be honest, never go to this place. Someone will respond to this message saying "We apologize for the inconvenience. We strive to provide our customers with reasonable rates and are sorry to have missed the mark in your case. We value your feedback and will use it to improve our services." Pretty sure that they won't improve their services instead they will increase their prices and consumers like us have to pay. Also to add, this is not only a hospital. This is actually a business center which has malls and all. Glomark is rubbish and their customer service is absurd.

I had to stay with my Dad at covid ward for about 8 days as he was tested positive for covid & for other complications he got. Initially we didn't know tea & food was kept outside on a table as we waited for hours waiting for them. They should have given a explanation regarding that early as we don't know the covid conditions. Food was good had a nice combination of soup,Porridge, dessert for patient but communication errors always happened as even i said not to bring 2 tea cups still they always brought them 3 times a day. Service was good as doctors & nurses always took care of him. Because of covid nurses refused to come near to provide medicine as i had to give them most of the time on their advice. On the day we were discharging even though we paid the bill had to stay for a long time to wait for somebody to take us to the lift which was bit disappointing as we had to look for a tuk while holding all out bags together. Altogether can be satisfied with all the services such as cleaning, food, health though the bill was expensive.

A private Hospital situated closer to General Hospital of Colombo.Very well maintained hospital with all testing facilities and consultation facilities with a reasonable charges.Digital testing techniques are used for all tests.Fully A/C hospital with staffs are ready to help patients at any time around the clock.ATM machines are installed inside the premises for cash withdraws as well as deposits.Well established canteen service provides meals and refreshments for all visiting the hospital.Very cool and nice environment is prevailing inside the hospital with lift device to floors. Blood test ,X-Ray,scanning are some of the tests provided by the hospital. No waiting is necessary for any one to get any service from the hospital as you enter the premises.

I want to to know when your good quality of service kicks in. I have called several times (check your recordings) to get channeling information which the people who answers the phone doesn’t seem to know, they keep transferring my call which gets disconnected in between and I end up without getting any information. Can you kindly make sure that the people who answer the phone are well informed so that patients don’t have to call repeatedly.

This is a hospital where patients in the ICU contract Covid 19 from the hospital. My mother was admitted to Asiri Central to be treated for a brain aneurysm. After a post surgery recovery period of a week in the ICU she was infected with Covid 19 and passed away at 62. She was tested for Covid 19 prior to admission as per protocol and was negative. Interestingly the Doctor in charge of the ICU too had Covid 19. An ICU is supposed to be a safe place for patients. I would not recommend this negligent hospital to anyone. Avoid it.

I had a eye injection procedure to follow at Asiri Hospital Kandy. I had the worst experiences after the injection procedure was completed. Inefficient way of handling the patients to dispatch from Operation Theater. Billing procedure took almost one and half hours (past mid night), when inquired they said. it takes time, though the entire process is automated. I couldn't understand why? Some authorities in the hospital should review the billing process to make it EFFICIENT.

Poor service, aggressive billing team (except billing coordinator), less room quality. My daughter was inpatient for over two weeks. Dr service is good. But for nursing less staff hence they missed nursing quality, Finally lot of time wasting to setting bill and bill clarification was aggressive and unfriendly. Daily bills were not updated and final bill was loaded with lot of unclassified amounts with aggressive expressions. Money was the prime target. Rooms r having bedbugs and several issues. Rectification was not happened even after several reminders.🤔

If you are going to Asiri Central for a scan, I do not recommend this place. Not because the doctors are bad, the system implemented in here (Ultra Sound Scan Department) is all fake! They give a time and a number but they just take in people randomly like a Grocery shop in pettah. No adequate seating area and with Covid’19 keeping patients waiting is not the safest practice. They don’t have anyone outside to coordinate, people have to stand outside the door to see what’s happening. People come to a private hospital to get a proper quality service. This is unacceptable and highly disappointing. If you get a time slot for 9.00 am, you will be taken in at 11.00 am and that is also if you go and complain. Do not waste your time here!

If someone says their services are good it has to be on every aspect. They are using the technology / internet to boasting a lot to say about your services via their website etc. Under their "contact us" given a email address "[email protected]". However no one follow up the email was sent to this address. I have ask a question about PCR test details ( Cost / where it can be done ) I have send this email from overseas, till date no response. This means to me, it's very poor quality of a service. Specially these hospitals are catering for nearby countries like Maldives etc. How the overseas person can be contacted without costly phone call.

They are cheating on poor people who go abroad. As everyone know, rapid antigen test is a must prior departure. Asiri central hospital is the one who's taking care of the antigen tests at the BIA. There responsibility to check the air ticket and do the needful within the relevant time period. My husband did the test paying them LKR 7,500 and checked in at the airport. After the check-in, Sri Lankan Airlines staff asked my husband to amend the test report time as it was 2 MINUTES earlier than the departure time. Airport staff has contacted the Asiri Hospital lab outlet in the BIA and they have agreed to amend the time. My husband had to come out again. When he went there, Hospital staff asked him to do another test which costs another LKR 7,500 which so unfair and so disappointed. They are doing a business with poor people's money. Sri Lankan Airlines have lodged a complaint against this but unfortunately we had no favorable answer for this. May be they all jave engaged in this business. Please be aware of these cheaters when you go abroad.

Hospital is great in all services except the cafeteria area. Seating area is allways littered with empty food bins and cups. Shocking to realize management pay a blind-eye to the pathetic status of this beautiful cafeteria, which was identified as the one of the best sometimes back. Suggestions- 1. Fix notices to our (gamaya /bayya) clients to put empty cups/boxes to waste bin. 2. Place bins in a visible place (as of now, they are hidden) 3. Ask cafes to keep a small amount (LKR50) until trays were returned 4. If all above dosent work, deploy adequate cleaning staff. Clean environment is a right of everyone who comes here, and also its a duty to leave the table clean upon leaving

Decent hospital maybe 4 starts, but 2 stars because of their old channeling system which is perhaps decades old and can't carry out simple functions, compared to other hospitals. At most of the other hospitals, if you want to make a change of date on echanneling they are done over the phone with ease. At Asiri they say to make a change of date to a paid appointment, you have to visit the hospital and make the change while sitting in front of them, which is a rather prehistoric patient management system compared to other hospitals of similar standard. At Hemas, Kings, Etc.. you can make amendments over the phone. Confused as to why a physical presence is required for a change on an online system. Anyway, choosing not to use this hospital for channeling in the future as the same doctors are available at other hospitals in the same vicinity.

You take a test whole we wait for results you ask us all to sit togher. They also expect us to be telepathic as they think they want us to respond

Overall a good service from everyone at the hospital; from the doctors, to nurses and other staff. When you or your loved ones are going through a major health issue it can be a very stressful time for the entire family and therefore it is important that you get the best care and Asiri Central is very understanding of this. A special mention should be made regarding the nurses at the CTICU. They were very kind and friendly to the patient as well as the family making the difficult time a bit easier when you know your loved one is being taken care of well. Covid regulations however are quite strict yet. Patients and bystanders are required to do RATs and PCRs at several stages which can be an added expense, however I understand that they need to ensure the safety of everyone

Good service. Staff's are very friendly to the patients. Good doctors. There are more than 2 pharmacy. Clean and hygienic wards. There are wending machines which we can get our snacks quickly. Good cafeteria. Theres a children play area in the 8th floor. There are fish tanks in every floor to entertain the kids. There are bill paying machines where you can pay your phone bills or any other bills quickly. There's no free parking, slow elevators.

The employees who make appointments with the doctor do not know any information at all, you constantly have to wait a long time on the line, you say which doctor you need and what exactly, and they make an appointment with another, they say that the doctor will be in 20 minutes, but he comes in an hour and a half and they still say "The doctor is still working in another hospital, you can go there", I wonder why I have to go there if I paid here. Employees who sign up patients for tests do not even know that they have packages of tests for health assessment, but only offer single ones.

Great Hospital! I went here while on vacation without an appointment and was immediately greeted by someone at the entrance who brought me to a first assessment by a doctor without any wait time. I was transferred to a specialist on another floor where I only waited 5 minutes to see the practitioner. I fulfilled the prescription in the hospital and was out again after a total of maybe 45 minutes. Everyone was very friendly, helpful and it was very affordable. In my home country in Europe it would have taken 5 times as long and cost 5 times as much. Amazing healthcare in Sri Lanka!

The pharmacy sucks. I had to wait 20 minutes to get my prescription filled. Also the walking exit is dangerous. It starts as a slope and then has steps. I almost fell and twisted my knee. I am currently talking to my lawyer to take further action against your hospital.

What the hell? I would give zero stars if I could. I had an appointment for an examination because I am 8 months pregnant. I came to the hospital and was shocked! it is an extremely overcrowded hospital with no structure. We had to wait outside in front of a very small room. There wasn't even water for the patients and the toilets were extremely unhygienic. After waiting for 30 minutes, I no longer had any patience; the doctor simply didn't arrive at the hospital until exactly an hour later. the doctors name is “Sanath Lanerolle“. When he came, I just met a rude figure with an extremely unprofessional manner of speaking. “What’s your problem?” he said. Then an ultrasound scan was done, even though I had specifically pointed out that I just recently had one and I even showed him my results. I was heavily pregnant and wasn't helped to lie down or stand up and he simply threw and left the device on my stomach after he finished the scan after just 2 minutes. Meanwhile he also made a phone call. Then he diagnosed me as “high risk complicated”. During my 8 months of pregnancy, I never received such a diagnosis from a doctor - neither in Germany nor in the other countries I have traveled to during my pregnancy. When I discussed with him he said words like “I won't lie for you” or “I'm the doctor - that's how it is in Sri Lanka”. He simply wrote the certificate for my flight in ridiculous handwriting on a piece of paper. When I asked him if he could at least diagnose for the airline whether I was “fit to travel” he said how would he know? He hadn’t done a “fitness test” with me. After 5 minutes I left the room extremely angry. and I was allowed to pay an extra 6000 for the unwanted and unnecessary scan. I have never seen such incompetence in my life. If I could, I would sue this doctor. Such a ruthless, ignorant doctor should be banned!!! Did this person buy his doctor's degree or what?

It took 25 minutes to get a simple bill done and go up and down through an elevator. Only two elevators were working for 12 floors. Most of the places No sanitizers kept for public. Specially 12 the floor, empty sanitizer was kept for public. When I informed about the sanitizer they didn't care about it. Very unsatisfactory service. Highly dissapointed.

One of the leading private hospitals in Sri Lanka, with all the latest technologies and other facilities. In house and visiting doctors and consultants daily for admissions. You can book a slot via various online sites and over the phones. Friendly and helpful staff. Rates and little high. However, some of the staff members are not well trained and you better extra cautious asking all what you need to know before treatments. Ample parking available in the hospital as well as along the roadsides.

I went to make a filling in my upper teeth and the dentist Rajitha L Munasinghe could not find the cavity which was between 2 teeth. I clearly know that the cavity is there because I've got it filled 2 years back and it fall out. I tried to explain the dentist about the cavity but no constructive response for that. I finally got my teeth cleaned and came out with a bill of 800 Rs for consultation + 1000 Rs for corona dress + 3400 Rs for cleaning. I never got what I came for by this dentist with lack of experience, moreover the waiting time was around 50 minutes more than my appointment time - i asked the reception, when it will be my turn and their explanation was "we cannot predict what issues the ongoing patient is coming with". My question/suggestion is, will an analysis of average dental visit not be helpful for them to ensure lesser waiting time for the patients?

A hospital contains all facilities (including food coutr and a mini super market ) under one stop. At chanelling some of the assistants are not friendly at all. I have seen some rude attitude also. Specially towards innocent and senior citizens. Car park entrance where they issue the parking token is adjacent to PCR sample collection. People who exposed to patients are there even not more than a meter away... very careless..... I didnt pick the token in last two times because of the unsafe environment.

The hospital has all the facilities and it is comfy. You have enough space to sit down and wait till the doctors come. There is a nice fish tank for mind relaxing. The OPD young doctor is really great. She is knowledgeable and attentive. The lady in the X-ray counter who directs you to get the X-ray is very mean and arrogant. She pretends to be busy and disrespectful for the people. It’s just matter of giving the X-ray bag and telling the directions to go. Wonder how hard that could be to get easily annoyed 🤨 The pharmacy is great and has adopted new technologies where you have to pay and get the number and in the screen you can see when your order is getting processed.

Nurses & Doctors will be available at any time & your relatives (sick people) will be taken care of better than you would ❤️ Not only the patient, guardian will also get a nice place to rest, store the stuff & a private bathroom 💙 Food is amazing 🤗 So delicious & comforting 🥰 Loved this experience 🔥❤️ Also we got the deluxe room (the lowest one) but it was really spacious & worth it. Thankyou! Hope anyone wouldn't wanna go to a hospital . 💙

I'm writing this review as a thank you note for the Asiri Central Hospital maintenance staff including the Operations Manager. My vehicle had an unexpected technical fault at the Asiri Central Hospital entrance blocking their main entrance to the car park. Number of maintenance staff members immediately responded. They were very kind and asked me to leave the key with them and attend to the doctor's appointment. I was advised that they will somehow move the vehicle and I can organise to tow it once we met the doctor. When I came back to the main entrance after seeing the doctor, they had temporarily fixed the car. I was able to drive it to the mechanic without any problem. While we expect an excellent medical treatment from a hospital, I would like to highlight the extra effort they put to provide an excellent customer service. Thanks to the support from the Asiri Central staff I was able to attend to the medical appointment without a problem. This is a word of "thank you" for the Operations Manager and his team for their excellent work. Keep up the good work guys!!

At radiology department, my previous experience was so bad on the way of responding to the phone calls, but not able to find their name. And today 26/12/2023 at around 8.30pm, there was a girl with white top and white trouser / jeans ( witch is Asiri Uniform) was saying the report has been issued already, where i am saying i have collected and returned again for reconsideration, then many times repeatedly she was keep saying that, then i requested to check with other responsible officer and find it, she was so upset and angry, but finally she found the MRI report of mine by her self there. This is so inappropriate and in professional. Where we face difficult and uncomfortable. So, my kind request to train the staff in a proper way to avoid things happening like this. However my heartiest thanks to rest of the services. All the very best for future.
