One of the worst experiences I've had to face so far, especially due to one specific staff member who was extremely rude and racist towards us. It was obvious that this was due to our religious beliefs. @Dr Amila De Alwis, my humble request for you is not to recommend this place for your patients.

It is a good eye Care hospital. When you call the hospital, front desk never respond. Even the 071...No. No Manager to complain.Second floor Toilet doesn't have lights, when you go to the hospital early morning after surgery. Made complaints 6 months ago also. It is the same now Sometimes no hand soap also

Did surgery for mom, and doctor did mistake. Si had to do second surgery for same eye again with full hospital charges and doctors charge. Its sad that they doesn’t care about patients. For second surgery we got appointment at 1.30 but doctors didn’t show up till 4 pm. When we asked staff dont give information either. I think its better stay away places like this. Thus is scamming people Even Wash rooms doesn’t have paper towels. They keep patients wait in the rooms that there is no AC , when there is a temperature over 90 degrees Celsius.

I've been using specs for the past few years. The staffs are Absolutely good. They have a very good selection, and they provide very good service, and they are very professional too. I would always recommend them to anyone. Highly recommended Vasan Eye care

Today 2023-04-06 My son had two surgeries here, but very bad customer care. After surgery, they don’t answer the phone and can’t contact anyone. I made an appointment over the phone and came to see the doctor, then when I arrived at the hospital they was told we couldn’t see him. I come from a faraway. When I asked why a message was sent me about confirmation, they said that the system is messed up.. The number to complain is also not working. No one to complain to. Even if it is the world’s largest eye care network, don’t commit such crimes to innocent patients.. Change everything that causes this... I’ll take legal action for the injustice done to me.. It is not fair that I come from 350 km away and do such a thing. Patient care is not only for money Its an act of god...

This is worst private hospital in Sri Lanka. Specially the management and the staff. The services are irritating for customers. They do not care about the patients. Waste of time. I do not recommend anyone to this hospital..

Do not do any surgery with Dr Vasuki Gurusamy. She was so nice yesterday when she was about to do the eye surgery to my dad. And we asked to come for a check up today at Royal hospital which ended up in a disaster because of her attitude and how rude she was to my dad. He just told her to explain my son how the meds work. Instead she started yelling how many times do I have to repeat myself. Very disrespectful and rude. Not the right way to treat the patients. And it's a private Hospital and we've paid so much for the surgery as well . Her attitude after we've made the payment was absolutely ridiculous. I'll rather take my Dad to a government hospital instead of consulting with Vasuki

From the receptionists to the doctors, everyone was approachable, attentive, and genuinely interested in my well-being.

Overall it's a good experience. But only disappointment is it got around 45 minutes passed my appointment schedule. Anyway, must state that the staff is really cool. I went to a full eye checkup, prior to doctor's inspection went through the checkup of the optometrist, she was very friendly. Even she spared her time on suggesting a spect that suits my look.

Terrible service. My mother had to get her eyes checked and made an early appointmentment with her preferred eye surgeon. But we waited over 1.5 hours to see the doctor. They dont call by number and call people by name. We have no idea if the doctor is seeing patients according to the appointment number as the staff seems to be sending in whoever they please. Not recommended.

Vasan Eye care is not a reliable place at all. The staff have a high and mighty attitude and cannot accept their mistakes. Will never go there again nor recommend it to anyone else.

Waited two hours beyond my appointment for a doctor who wasn't even there. So I left and demanded a refund. Stay away!

Extremely pathetic and not worthy customer service. We had to wait more than 15 hours for my dad's 30 minute surgery.... Yes you read it right, 15 hours!! There were people who came from places like Aheliyagoda, Welimada.... Some of the patients were cancer patients and some were 80+... They all had to wait for more than 10+ hours without getting a single drop of water... This place is extremely scary. The nurses are horrible and the so called senior nurses are rude and disgusting... Imagine, you done with your surgery and still have to wait for more than 4+ hours till the billing process is completed?? We paid more than 179K for our 30 minute surgery and wasted more than 15+ hours... There were like 50 patients on that day and all of them were highly disappointed with this awful hospital. Contact numbers are also not reachable. Never ever go to Vasan, even if you left with few options... If you have already scheduled an appointment, then I feel really sorry for you... Friendly advice to the management, Please arrange regular leadership development programs and meditation classe for your staff... AWFUL SERVICE ALERT.

Very very bad poor service in Sri Lanka I ever never experienced such a bad private hospital in my life. I visited here for my mother’s eye surgery but I have been waited for more than 5 hours with more delays. They could give an exact time for patients but Here it is not like that. Whoever want to go to a surgery please kind kind kind request to not to visit here. U will be feel horrible. Kind request from the management to take immediate actions for this bad service. I visited this place recently. Very calm and friendly atmosphere. All the staff are very active and attending to work with enthusiazm. Nice to see that people are working in this manner in Sri Lanka. I have been in many private hospitals in colombo with BIG NAMES but the services are very poor. No personal care at all. Long waiting times, difficult to locate the place where you need to go to meet the doctor or do your tests. Here its very easy all well organize and eazy to find. Staff are friendly and help to find the place we need to go. I have a very bad experience in one of the big hospital where i was sitting in one palce to meet doctor With my mother and after 4 hours i was told that its not the place i need to be. By the time i went to the right place doctor has left. Its really made me angry but no one to listen to my complain or help me. I had to put a new appointment for another day. How can they do that and keep silent on that. I dont know its sri lanka. I nees to tell about the cleaness also because in most of the other places i visited wash rooms are Very durty and smelly. In this hospital they have tried to keep them as clean as possible. We understand that some people dont know how to use the wash rooms and some time dont even fluss aftwr using. And make the place so dirty. Again attitude of the people matters we cant blame the cleaning staff only. Poor people they cant clean always. Doctors and staff are friendly and helping. My mother was offered the wheel chair and took good care. i would like to reccommend this hospital because of the good service. I would visit again happily.

Superb! First thing that took my attention was the staff there, very kind & have a lot of patience. Nurses & Doctors will be available at any time & your relatives will be taken care of better than you would ❤️ Not only the patient, guardian will also get a nice place to rest. Highly recommended.

Poor time management. Got an appointment at 4.30pm. They asked me to be here by 4.15pm. Though i asked for 5pm they refused. Got special permission from office to came. Now waiting for more than half an hr. The staff should be trained how to talk. One word communications (when i ask how long should I wait, simply answerd "Sit"). Hoping to get atleast the quality service worth of my waiting.... 😤😤

I went for a minor solution for my broken frame of my spects to the opticals and there were two executives, Male and a Female, First they said i should change the frame which would have cost me 10K above, But after a while I was talking to the Male Executive and he was really humble and genuinely responsive, Finally glued my Frame with no cost and more than his service I loved the way he treated me.

Very Poor customer service. Had an appointment on 22.04.2022 with dr myrna. Received a call in the morning asking if I was on my way, 1) Knowing the long wait Patients are always subjected to, and 2) Not wanting to waste my time sitting long hours, I inquired, if dr is there, then which "number" is currently with dr? ** They Didn't have this Basic Information!! Worst experience ever.righy after my appointment their staff came after me grabbed my han and led me to their optical service unit and convinced me to get the spectacles from them. I live in kadawatha and cametwice to pick them. Both times they have installed my lenses incorrectly.After complaining they mentioned they will return money after two weeks. Till today no response and mangement is ignoring me continuously and treated me very rudely

I had a terrible experience at this hospital. The staff was incredibly rude and unprofessional. They seemed more interested in chatting with each other than taking care of patients. I had to wait for hours before anyone even acknowledged my presence, and when they finally did, it was clear that they were just going through the motions. The level of care I received was subpar at best, and I left feeling like my health was in jeopardy. I would not recommend this hospital to anyone.

The place is clean, and I didn't have to wait forever to see the doctor. The eye exam was thorough, and the staff explained everything so I understood what was going on. One of the worst places to do any sort of eye surgery. Long waiting times for the doctor. The staff doesn't have the courtesy of informing patients about doctor's late arrivals.

Very bad . Never buy glasses from them. They will give vouchers to make u buy there but many people who baught from there have very bad experiences. Glass gets removed from the frame and sides break easily. They have fixed it in poor quality .

Your staff has inconvenienced us today by pointing out a wrong google map link. Lost time 1.5 morning today. Consider money as well as people's time

It was very difficult to contact the hospital. Most of the time the hospital main contact line was switched off or busy. Telephone operators were cutting the line while I was talking. I tried whole two days to make an appointment for my grandpa’s surgery. Then I eventually had to make an appointment at a different hospital. Very disappointed.

This place doesn't even deserve a single star, first of all the front desk staff has no idea on what they are doing, I had to wait for 10 minutes to book my appointments, and when they don't know how to input the information they just hung up on you. Secondly, the doctors cancellations are never communicated to the patients and will only be informed once you are there at the center. Pathetic place.

Worse customer service if the customer is reordering. Polite services are only for initial orders. I wished to change the frame after the full payment of the first order however informed before fixing the lens.But I was surcharged for my second order by not providing any discounts and was told with various lame reasons saying refund will be deducted from the sale person's salary, this particular frame doesn't have discounts, reordering is not subject to discount and etc. Advertising that can get it delivered the frames within 1 hour but took about 2 days to process for a sigle order and the refund, still not ready. No proper management or mechanism for the refund process. A kind request to the management to avail these charge on sales person because of that even we thought of sustain, it doesn't work that way. Definitely not recommended for another visit. 👿 To be honest customer service for the first order was very good. But definitely not for the reordering process.

Worst optical place ever. My mother gave her spectacles to be made after doctors appointment. They installed incorrect lenses twice. When we complained they said they will return money after two weeks. We are still waiting but they are changing words again and again and not answering to us

The worst hospital I’ve ever been. Never recommend Vasan eye hospital to anyone. My father was given an appointment at 6:00 in the morning. After we went there they said the appointment is rescheduled to 9:00 and until we shouted at them at 12:20 in the noon my father was not taken to the theatre. Later they said my father was taken inside the theatre. We were down stairs and no idea what’s happening and after 45 mins I had to go and ask why it’s taking so long and they said the operation is still happening and they will let us know when it’s done to make the payment. I went upstairs to check what’s happening and they have been keeping him outside and not letting him go out until the payment is made. My father had been starving without even a drop of water until then. #Dr.Charith Fonseka# please don’t send your patients here.

Does not even deserve 1 star. Poor customer service. Appointment was at 6 PM with Eye surgeon but delayed 2 hours waiting. 87 old patient waited to do the OCT and biometric test but the file was not passed to right person . Staff did not answer well for the delay. Extremely pathetic There were many old people treated same manner
