The experience with Kapruka service today was highly unprofessional and disappointed.... My wife had ordered gifts from you all two days in advance selecting available items in the site and by making the payment for my birthday (today) and surprisingly this morning we are getting a call from you all saying that items are not available and money will be refunded within 5 working days.... What an unprofessional way of catering customers and also dictating your terms and conditions when inquired (cash refunds).... No concern on customer needs or service...???? Will surely make all public aware on this pathetic customer care service by all means not with the intention of hampering businesses but to alert everyone so that they would not end up with frustration on a day to celebrate as we had to face today, just because of the disorganisation of Kapruka operation and disgusting customer care service.... 0 courtesy 0 professionalism 0 customer care

Service is excellent. Delivered on time and the delivery people are very nice and helpful. I have sent and received many orders and when inquiries are made they assist promptly over the hotline or through email without delay. Even the items ordered are exactly the same like in pictures and quality.

Worst delivery of cake ever. I ordered a cake (white forest) from Kingsbury hotel through kapruka sometime ago, but when it was delivered, the cake was melted badly, and when I complained about that to the kapruka they tried to make it looks like my fault, and finally they admit that it was there fault and would give a refund which they never did and I had to call to them like 20 times for it and they still ignored me. Bottom line I really didn’t need the refund I just wanted to send the cake for special occasion and it was all ruined. The worst experience ever. And here’s the photo of the cake.👎👎👎👎👎

make sure to compare assigned HS code (this is used for import tax calculations) by kapruka with Sri Lanka customs HS code. For me kapruka system assigned an incorrect code which can lead to more import duties. And they confirmed that they take more than 1 month to deliver (even though the website says it is 7 to 10 days) I had to cancel the order as they are not able to change it via their system.

I recently ordered a special birthday cake for my father's 82nd birthday from Kapruka. Sadly, my experience with Kapruka has been incredibly disappointing. The entire day was spent eagerly anticipating the cake's delivery, but, the cake arrived considerably late, around 8:40 pm. Our guests had left, and the celebration was ruined because the cake was the centerpiece of the evening. To make matters worse, I had paid for delivery charges, expecting a reliable and timely service. The fact that the cake never arrived not only disrupted our celebration but also tarnished my reputation as the person responsible for arranging this special treat. There is simply no excuse for such a lack of responsibility. This experience has not only left us deeply disappointed but also made me question the reliability of Kapruka's services, which I had trusted to make the day memorable for my father. I plan to share this experience with others through this negative review, as a warning about the unreliability of Kapruka's services. Furthermore, I want to emphasize that I will never use Kapruka again. It's truly disheartening to have such a terrible experience with a service I had previously trusted.

---- 22 March 2023 ---- Well received the mouse ordered via KGS 👍 ---- 24 August 2022 ---- Today the Kapruka Delivery came home to collect the defective keyboard and close the delivery with the replacement. I am updating this review using the new Logitech K780. Color of the new keyboard is not different by the way 🙂 ---- 19 June 2022 ----- Today I got a call from Kapruka Global Shop which made my fingers crossed. As they said, color of new keyboard will be different, the replacement will be there and the misfunctioning keyboard will be taken. The shipping charges will be owed by me. ---- June 2022 ---- I did not want to change this review. After 5 months of using this keyboard one of its keys started misfunctioning but there was a consolation since the warranty period is not over. EVEN AT THE MOMENT OF POSTING THIS REVIEW THE WARRENTY PERIOD IS STILL THERE. Keep in mind that there will be no way you are able to grant the warranty even after contacting the manufacture's customer support. Kapruka told me that it's impossible to replace the keyboard but Logitech told me it's possible. At first Kapruka Global Shop said that I will have to pay for sending it back to US. But now they are telling "No you will have to keep the misfunctioning keyboard despite its warranty" but Logitech wants me to send it to back US to send me a new one. ----- December 2022 ----- I ordered Logitech K780 keyboard from Amazon via Kapruka Global Shop on 5th December 2021. I received it on 25th of December. The fees are fair & their service is excellent.

Worst Delivery Experience, Delivery guy asked me to travel 13km to receive the package. When i rejected to go, he cursed me with inappropriate words. This is the customer experience we get with kapruka in a Christmas Day.

Very bad service. Posted a complain on Facebook, kapruka fan page a few times and everytime I posted it, it was removed. I don't know how only positive comments are there. Anyway I will never order from kapruka again

WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE I HAVE EVER EXPERIENCED.

They have literally the worst delivering services. My boyfriend had ordered bouquet of roses to be delivered to me yesterday which is on Valentine’s Day. He had very clearly mentioned that it’s a surprise and not to inform me. Instructions had been clearly given to give the bouquet to the bank receptionist in which I’m working at as it's a surprise. Since morning 10am, my boyfriend had been going behind them as it was not delivered on the time requested. At around 4.50pm I got a call and was informed that I’m getting a parcel. I clearly informed the delivery guy that I will be leaving office at 5.00pm hence to deliver it soon. Till 5.10pm it was not delivered and I had to call again and ask where they were. When I did so, the rider was fusing saying that they went to some other place and the location had not been informed when my boyfriend clearly has given instructions of the location and more. At around 5.15pm I was asked to come out of the bank out and it was given to me with 0% professionalism. Nothing was done in the way that my boyfriend had requested. My boyfriend was so disappointed as the roses were delivered to me only when i was about to leave the bank in which the day was almost over. Their service is literally the worst and I would never recommend anybody to order from them mainly on a specific special day of your loved ones as their service is awful and would only ruin the day.

Worst shopping experience ever. I have purchased JBL boombox. Before purchasing it I asked them wheather they have in store or not. They confirmed they have it purchase the item. Once I have purchased 10 min later I get a call from them that it is out of stock. (🤔🤔🤔) and they gonna refund ms asap. Not its been 7days no refund yet. And when I call them they keep telling they have refunded it. So I asked the ARN number of the refund. They telling me that they want 2 days to give me the ARN. Do you think we are fools??? You haven't done the refund yet. Thats why you want 2days. I am also working in card industry. Do not lie. Same lie doesn't apply to everybody. Keep that in mind.

We were so impressed by the services provided by Kapruka. Ordered in the USA and delivered within 12 hours. We will definitely order again.

Kapruka.lk………. ok so here we go. I have been using kapruka for few years. I live abroad and I have used the service to send specially cakes for my friends and family back in Sri Lanka. However I have noticed that the kapruka service is degrading by the day. I have seen fruit baskets delivered at big $$$ amounts yet failing to adhere to basic standards or quality of service and customers receiving rotten fruits as a result. Yet what really gets my goat is that the exorbitant prices charged from customers, especially from people living outside Sri Lanka. Attached is a prime example for this. The same ribbon cake if ordered within Sri Lanka is Rs. 2800, but if ordered from overseas is USD 24.58. That in today's exchange rate (1 USD = Rs 185.88) is Rs 4568.93. Further even the delivery charge if ordered within Sri Lanka was Rs 520 to my residence and USD 4.40 (Rs. 817.87) when ordered overseas. I Urge the MD (Dulith Herath) of Kapruka to give me an explanation for the above. Why would you want to use 2 separate payment gateways for lankans and overseas customers when you very well know that 90% of customers using your service is people within lanka and lankans living overseas. Just because people living overseas earns in a different currency it doesn’t give you the right to rip them off. If the item is sold for Rs 2800 in lanka that is what you have costed and priced it against after adding your profit margins. So whether someone pays within lanka using a Lankan credit/debit card or a overseas card shouldn’t matter. I wouldn’t have written this review if you had charged 3 or 4 USD extra to what you charge in lanka since I would have considered that as your overseas transaction costs etc, but in this example, the cake is worth USD 15.06 when you charge USD 24.58. This applies to all the thousands of items on your website. You may have had a monopoly in lanka up to recent times but luckily for all lankans who use e commerce services such as this, we’ve got good news since there are new players out there who offer better services and reasonable prices. I am disappointed in you Kapruka. Try to live by the google slogan. Don’t be Evil !!!

For the second time , after the order was placed selecting the correct category, I was called by customer service and informed that the category was incorrect and wanted more money. I wonder whether this is a scam to earn more money. The category I chose was in Black and White and the guy says this category is a restricted one and need to change which cost 7,000 more. Why can’t you remove the category from the list if restricted. Scam artists trying to earn a fast buck from innocent customers. Of course this company has a reputation for this as we all know.

I placed an order from the Kapruka global store to buy a Amazon Kindle. However, after I placed the order and paid, they informed me that the number of orders they could do from Amazon exceeded and would have to cancel the order. None of this is mentioned on their website. I would not recommend it.

Very bad quality for the price paid. They came very late at about 5.30 pm in the evening like the end of the birthday and the bouquet didn’t look at all like the picture . Flowers are all dead

Worst and horrible cake delivered to me . Just icing all over the cake . Once I made the complaint, staff and chef girl laugh at me . Because I made a video call to show them how bad the cake . I do not recommend Kapruka cake to anyone.

I have placed an order with Kapruka for one of my friends, and they stated that they would deliver once after the payments (Within 24h); so I made the fees online, and when I checked the status of the order, they said they did not send the gift since they need to verify the details. This is a birthday present, and finally, I could not even send it out. This is one of the worst services and customer support I have ever had. If you want to order something for your loved one, make sure you think twice before ordering with Kapruka

I have been purchasing products from Kapruka for the past three years. Ordered a cake few days before it should arrive today but due to carelessness of the company it gives me a day delay.. When I contacted your call center in this regard, his (Mr.Prashanth )response was rudely that if it is possible take it one day later if not we will refund your money, and this response is not acceptable in any way. I strongly rebuke a person who used such word at the last moment & humbly wish them a better service in the future.

Orderd a citizen watch almost 10 days before the date of delivery and now one day before the delivery your agents are calling me it is not available and the only item available is damaged this is pathetic service Letting down loyal customers is not the way to make money How am I supposed to make any arrangement one day prior now? Really disappointed!!! I made an order on the 29th of October and on the 30th I got a call and they informed me saying that my order will be delivered on the 3rd of November(today), still not received the order and when called they keep saying they are just 30 mins away and it has been about 6 hours now, they should have at least had the courtesy to inform me that they are unable to deliver and just given my money back. Good place to buy stuff from Amazon and other foreign online sellers. They are bringing items within 2 to 3 weeks. Better to go and collect from their store rather than getting delivered to doorstep. Because we can check the quality and get the item.

Extremely bad customer service i ever had. last year i ordered fresh flowers for an anniversary and they delivered at 8pm. this time also delivered at same time. when i asked from managers of kapruka they said they have not enough transport and bla bla. and a very good suggestion from them is to deliver same by next day. they guys are playing with customers emotions .any how they said me item will deliver within office hours but item delivered at 8pm. they guys have to mention their issues before make a purchase.finally they not allow refund and they will never adjust with our requirement. please do not waste your valuable time money and valuable moments by ordering with these fake people..so disappointed..Bad customer service.👎

Ordered pack of Avurudu Sweets on 18th evening and getting a call next day morning saying same product is not available so simply they will reverse the payment within 5 to 7 working days. If the product is not available why can't you simply update your respective online platform?

Very disappointed. Ordered lunch from Galadari via Kapruka and the food didn't get delivered until 2pm. Poor coordination between Kapruka and the hotel and no one had the courtesy to call and inform the delay or to let the recipient know what time it will be delivered. Ordered 2 days prior to delivery and specified the delivery time and instructions to call prior to delivery. None of this happened. This is the 2nd time this happened to my orders. So this shows how much Kapruka cares about the customers. Once again Kapruka you disappointed me. I will never use this service again as you proved it twice that the service isn't reliable.

Delivery was on time and excellent service from Kapruka. I managed to receive the order on short notice. The delivery guy called me to check whether I'm at the mentioned location before delivery. The cake and the flower bouquet were packed nicely and fresh.

One of the most Dishonest companies. U better check what was sent with your receiver becasue they have cheated me each time I gave them Chance. Last time.they try to steal $1200 that I paid for a samsung TV as a gift. If I didn't have paypal involved and file a case they would have stolen the money without any issue. I asked if they can deliver lunch before 11.30am and they confirmed they can deliver from 8am to 5pm with our preference. I ordered well in advance but they only delivered 1.45 pm. I asked why the delivery was delayed, the kapruka staff said they only deliver lunch between 12.30 and 2pm. I have no words. I never use Kapruka again!!

I have ordered a Breadtalk Red Velvet 2lb cake through Kapruka for my wife's birthday. (Reference Number is :VLKRE36CE8FB) It was received on time as requested. But the taste of this cake was abnormal bitter. Because of this, the entire birthday function was ruined. Informed to Breadtalk and Kapruka. But no one take responsibility of it. Not recommend Breadtalk foods. Very low quality. As well as Not recommend Kapruka services. They did not take any responsibility for their orders.

Worst customer service ever. I do not recommend Kapruka to anyone. I ordered an item and on the day of delivery they informed me that the item was damaged and they could not deliver it and the refund would take 2-4 business days. Very car free service and not recommended.

Although I was using another online service to sent gifts to Sri Lanka, this is the first time I used KAPRUKA service. I recommend this service with all my heart. Not only the fresh flower decorations were beautiful but also the cake was super delicious. Apart from the quality of their products, the delivery was on time. Friendly service. Recommended !

Delivery within 24 hours and reasonable prices. Edit: my most recent order placed on 18 December was delivered on 23 December after they notified me about the inability to deliver before. Refunds take a couple of working days, but item was delivered successfully.
