It was raining tonight (2019OCT11) and I didn't feel like going out after my walk from Forte to GSH Colombo Hotel. Basically, I was tired and dinner was last on my mind. I looked at the menu and ordered the Chicken Baryani (RS959) and a mango lassi (RS395). Unexpectedly I was offered a free and complementary plate of papads, which was served with slices of lime, rings of red onions, sweet chillies sauce and a green sauce, which I believe is a peppermint sauce. The chicken Baryani presented in a clay pot and was delicious. When the waiter kindly served it for me by spooning it out on my plateIt I could tell that the rice was perfectly cooked and fluffy. But the surprise was to come when I tasted it. Thw chicken was moist and had a spicy kick to it. This was beautifully contrasted by the sweet mango lassi. Tomorrow I will be going to a Sri Lankan cooking class tour. I hope they will teach me on how to do the chicken Baryani the way the Mango Tree Restaurant does it.

There is probably just enough on the menu. The food is decent. Priced well. But sometimes, it can be way too filling than you might imagine. The vegetable mix kebab, is really good. And the nan-witch is really good too. The staff here are really good.

Excellent food. Prices are more on the mod to high range, but you're getting your money's worth. The biriyani and pulao both tasted great. Portion size was pretty big. The paani puri were delicious. Not the usual ones you get at a street food place, but a somewhat more elevated version of it. Everything was presented in a clean and appealing manner. Service was quick, friendly and courteous. No complaint there. Ambiance is good, although nothing special. Everything was clean with lots of natural light coming in. Would definitely be visiting again.

Punjab grill is one of the best to get a good Briyani and Desserts it’s a wonderful and quiet place to spend with your loved ones, because staffs are very friendly. It take 20 to 15 minutes of time to make the food freshly to deliver to you. All of their foods are freshly prepared. It is also available in uber eats if you want to try some. If you are willing to try i would suggest you guys to go for a *Dum Briyani* 🙈. Overall it was a good dinner for us. Food was quick, tasty, pleasant staff, and a very decent place fir a family gathering. Food was slightly expensive, but if you are more than 6-7 people and order the correct quantity, then it might be worth. I will definitely go again for another dinner/lunch.

Very good food I love this place been visiting her now a couple of times never been let done. I ordered the button curry but I told the waiter that if it was hard I would return it man it was soft as butter yes it took time to come but the wait was worth it. Great place highly recommended.

Went for the Saturday buffet which was amazing . Buffet was simple and there weren't allot of varieties but I think that's why you can enjoy everything perfectly. They had a soup , salad, naan , buriyani , mix vegi curry , dhal curry , paneer and butter chicken. Food was amazingly tasty. And all this for just RS.1000/= . Yes just 1000/= net for the entire buffet. Staff and the service is good. Very friendly. Nice , clean and tidy restaurant with good seating arrangement. Convenient place to host a dinner for your friends . They also have a separate full salad bar just for Rs.600/= for the salad buffet which is an exceptionally good rate I would obviously visit this place again & again.

Took a takeaway amazing food nice quality and quantity. But expensive though, Briyani is on the spicy side but it balanced by the yogurt condiment.

Providing a one-star rating for Mango Tree at GSH because of the absolutely terrible service on 1st August from 11am to 12pm. I was trying to get clarity on an order I needed and the individual answering the phone was not comptent to even take down a phone number, let alone answer questions relating to an order. And is it this person's fault? No. The restaurant manager had put him in charge and called everyone else for a supposed 'staff meeting' which was going on from 11am - 12pm. If the manager does read this; maybe conduct your staff meetings before the outlet opens? Or allocate one member of your staff who is able to answer the phone properly. Absoutely terrible service.

Amazing food. Quality had not changed one bit over the years. If you want great quality Indian food... this is the place to go!

Worst service ever. ordered a nasi goorang. they said it is sufficient for two persons. but at the end after a long waiting time they served us a small portion which is not enough for a single person. How ever at the end they gave us a invoice of 4200.00 with 500tax and also with a 700 rs service charge. I don't recommend this place for any one.

Great Service and Great place for events. We thoroughly enjoyed the day itz all because of the maintenance and service👌🏻.. not only me my whole family liked the location, welcoming and the place was so clean and comfortable.. Especially the food was really amazing. thank you GSH for your delightful Service♥️
