Worst place ever!!! Do not shop with them. SWARNAMAHAL is famous for their bad attitude and poor customer service, but this branch has next level worstness. They listen to customer needs. Sometimes they raise their voice because customers try to leave without buying from them. If you wanna buy jewellery, buy from somewhere else. There are lots of jewellery shops on this street..

I visited few places in Sea Street. The worst jewelry shop is Swarnamahal. Not recommend for customers. Poor attention on customers. Rather than understanding the customer need, the sales people try to avoid the customer. If the owner see this post better to train your staff. Otherwise your brand value may dilute.

Very poor customer service. Lazy and unpleasant staff. They don't know how to treat their customers. Higher management need to get a dissicion about their showroom staff very quickly. Otherwise your customer base will be drop very soon. Because there are many great showrooms in this road like as mutukarupan chettiar that treat for the customers as a king... I'm not recommend this Swarnamahal jewellers showroom.

Bad customer service

Very bad customer service.. they ruined and tried to clarify it nicely. We went to swarnmahal because it is famous and also heard your gold is good. But if not taking any responsible really dissapoint on your products. Thank you

I recently purchased jewellery from SMJ and it was the best decision. I had a design in mind and visited several gold stores but I was told that it was impossible to make. I finally went to SMJ and the salesperson said no as well. Just as I was about to lose hope, the assistant manager, Mr.Danushka, had a look at the design and told me not to worry, he will take responsibility. With so many attempts, he finally did it on time! It is a very stunning piece and I couldn’t be any happier. Danushka did not disappoint me one bit. I highly recommend SMJ. Thank you so much for your service.

I recently went to Swarnamahal and Mr. Danushka was the person who assisted me in customizing my pendant. He said it was difficult to do but they can manage it. Just as he said the pendant was exactly what I wanted and I’m really satisfied with their service. I would recommend this place to anyone who love jewelries. I came to Swarnamahal - Sea Street branch to customize and make some jewellery. Dhanushka is the representative who supported me and he gave me a better customer service. He designed my jewelry as per my expectation. I'm really satisfied with his service and the jewelry I purchased. I really Appreciate the team at Swarnamahal - Sea Street branch and how friendly they are.

Very poor service. Ring was not to the measurements they took and very last moment they stretched the ring and it felt so cheap and when we tried to sell it to them came up with nonsense, first offered very low price and the said no cash at the store. They didn’t even take the responsibility of what they did. Do not recommend the sea street stall.

A few months back I went to buy jewelry with my wife. I suggest she check with Swarnamahal also. I feel bad about how the staff treats us. We were not begging, we went to buy for cash. Once they were not willing to make the business we went next door and completed our task worth somewhere around 500K. I am not recommending any to buy or at least visit Swarnamahal. Once I read reviews here I was surprised why the owner or authority asked for reviewer contact details. It's useless since they are no reply options for owners' feedback.

I had a terrible experience at Swarnamahal last weekend. The customer service was absolutely abysmal, and the staff members were incredibly disrespectful and rude. From the moment I walked into the shop, I felt like I was inconveniencing the staff members by being there. They barely acknowledged my presence and seemed more interested in chatting amongst themselves than assisting me. When I asked for help, they were short and dismissive, and made me feel like I was bothering them. The communication skills of the staff members were also severely lacking. They were unable to answer basic questions about the jewellery they were selling, and seemed annoyed when I asked for clarification. It was clear that they had no interest in providing a pleasant shopping experience. To make matters worse, the staff members were incredibly arrogant and condescending. They talked down to me and made me feel like I was beneath them. It was clear that they thought they were superior to their customers, and had no interest in providing a high level of customer service. Overall, I would not recommend this jewellery shop to anyone. The staff members are disrespectful, lack basic communication skills, and are incredibly arrogant. Save yourself the hassle and shop elsewhere.

I visited Swarnamahal last week and I must say I was utterly disappointed with the experience. The customer service was below par, and the staff members were incredibly arrogant and unprofessional. The staff members' attitude towards me made me feel unwelcome. They lacked basic communication skills and were unwilling to provide any assistance when I asked for help. The staff members' arrogant behaviour was the icing on the cake. They acted as if they were doing me a favour by letting me shop at their store. Their complete disregard for me as a customer was unacceptable, and I left the store feeling frustrated and disheartened. Fortunately, I found a much better jewellery store where I was able to purchase two beautiful wedding rings. The staff members were incredibly helpful and made me feel like a valued customer. The difference in service was night and day, and it made me realize how truly disappointing my experience was at Swarnamahal. In conclusion, I strongly advise against visiting this jewellery shop. Their poor customer service and arrogant behaviour of staff members are unacceptable. There are much better options out there, and I highly recommend finding a jewellery store where you can receive the assistance and respect that you deserve.
