😠 The security guard boy in ward 72 thinks he is above a doctor. He either wanted to be a school principal or a discipline teacher and came to this because of ignorance. These kind of people who don't know how to talk to people come to work after grabbing some politician. Don't forget, because of peop... People often mention patients, ward, doctors, nurses,

    (Translated by Google) Accident Unit of the Colombo National Hospital. An excellent unit for treating accidents. Essentially equipped with all amenities. Accident patients can be admitted directly to this location. A special gate pass is required to visit inpatients here.

Only thing good about this Hospital, that is everything is free. Other than that everything is the worst, doctor patient care is the worst especially in the accident ward. No proper beds for patients to sleep, this is one of the few Hospitals in Srilanka where the patients after admitted are asked to sleep on the floor.

The Accident & Orthopaedic Service of the National Hospital of Sri Lanka is the Level 1 Trauma Care Centre in Sri Lanka and being the largest and the best equipped trauma care centre in Sri Lanka caters to those who are injured in accidents.

Went here about 15 years because my left elbow had broken to three pieces due to an accident. I had to stay in women's ward with my mother because there is no children's ward at the time. Dr. Wasantha Perera is the surgeon and thanks to him my elbow is back in one piece. The treatments are crucial sometimes due to the nature of the injury. I had to hang my arm for one year with a bandage. After one year, little bit wounds like infections appeared all over my left arm and Doctor told me that was the time remove nail in my elbow. After those are removed by a surgery, wounds are disappeared. I was not able to do any work for another six months and there was an unit for exercises to damaged area. Thanks to them I was able to move my arm. After that, I was not able to do heavy works for another couple of years. Now, I can function normally. They ward is very clean. But, some of the staff are not friendly to patients. But, the Doctors and Nurses are the best in the country. All the payments had done free of charge.

Greetings and Good Morning People of Sri Lanka, this is an announcement for any person who is looking into having vaccines/Booster shots for COVID-19; it seems some places including Narahenpita army hospital have stopped giving vaccines. But you can get the vaccines from National Hospital Accident Ward Colombo. Please do take your NIC and the vaccination card since the relevant personals need to jot down the information. Remember, “Early bird catches the worm!” Hope you find the relevant details useful. Be safe and stay healthy. Cheers!

The doctors and especially the nurses in the hospital are useless. These nurses are often engaged in social media outside the ward and often only one or two nurses stay in the ward and surf social media on smart phones. Even if a patient cries out that it is difficult, they are not looked after. They don't even check if the patients are breathing, and while giving the medicine, they pour water into the mouth of a patient and put a pill and leave without even looking to see if the medicine has been swallowed or swallowed. Patients or caregivers of patients are not told and concealed about the patient's condition. No advice is given. At least they did not say whether the patient was discharged and nurses says that they were discharged only if the patient's guardians forced them to ask. Hygiene of patients is not looked after. Nurses and doctors go about their lives happily letting patients die. The x-rays taken from the patients are not given to the caretakers and are kept with them even after discharge. They are not working for taking salaries from people's tax money. endangering the lives of poor people. I can call them Satan's children.

The security guard boy in ward 72 thinks he is above a doctor. He either wanted to be a school principal or a discipline teacher and came to this because of ignorance. These kind of people who don't know how to talk to people come to work after grabbing some politician. Don't forget, because of people like this, the valuable efforts of doctors, nursing officers and nurses to save lives are diluted. This country has fallen into the abyss because these kind of illiterate people have been caught in a big way and have gone to jobs higher than security guard.
