This outlet is terrible! On the day curfew was announced people who were in line to get in and who were already inside were rudely chased out! There was a mother and a kid and they said they just needed a few items as they didn’t know when the curfew would be lifted and they also were just chased away. Luckily we were told keels was allowing people to do their last minute shopping and we all went there and non of the staff there rushed us out or were rude to us.

I've visited this place 100 times. I've learned not to ask for help, because I know I won't get any. Always such huge queues, makes me think twice about going in. Decent selections of items. Wouldn't call them cheap. Has parking for 5 large vehicles. Located in the main road, very convenient.

The staff is very lethargic and does their own thing. They do not care about the convenience of the customers. They take ages to bill the items and usually we have to wait a long time. The food city in majestic city is the worst. If we want to buy anything before a movie, we are sure to miss atleast 30 minutes of the movie.

They have billed me wrong amounts in multiple occasions and also they always ignores the promotion discounts. You have to check whether they have included discounts. Also they charged me more few hundred rupees more for fish and meat items multiple times and had to complain the manager. Also beware of the pharmacy guy, he is actually NOT a pharmacist even though he wears a tie and have little knowledge on pharmaceuticals. So be careful and check twice when you are buying over the counter drugs from there. Happened these only in mattakkuliya branch though.

One of the best supermarkets in Mattakkuliya, has most of the things you expect to find. Staff is helpful. There is sufficient parking space, but you might not be able to park if it's very crowded. Conveniently place as it's along the main road. Greet place to grab your daily essentials.

Comparing to other super markets still food city is not up to standards. Took a long time to do the billing, the trolleys are in really bad condition. Most of the stuff were not available. Good for a quick purchase. Consider nearby other supermarkets.

Bought some fish today, the weighing scale showed Salaya Rs. 300/= a kilo, the scale printout too printed Rs. 300/= When I paid at the cashew counter I was charged Rs. 460/= a kilo. I went home came back and inquired and the reply was the price in the scale was not updated. Is that the customer's fault? I was overcharged Rs. 160/= LEAVING THE MATTER TO THE MANAGEMENT.

The only supermarket in the town since earlier age. Now there maybe more within the same radius. This place offers to pay your utility and mobile bills at your convenience.

Worst supermarket I ever saw. Place is very dirty, can't think to touch entrance door handle, disgusting. There is no customer service for the customers. We can't ask any help or availability of products they act like they don't know, they are strangers. this is the bullish happens in Mattakuliya branch. Managers who in charge of this branch pay attention to your staff. Please keep your branch clean.
