STAY AWAY FROM HOUSE OF FASHIONS, the house of cheap fashions. My wife was planning to travel abroad in a few days and we went to House of Fashions Borella to buy a travelling bag. We bought two travelling bags from them. I thought it would be a quality product since House of Fashions is a reputed company and the bags cost me Rs.17500 each. Unfortunately, the next day when she was going to pack, we realised that the handle is not working on one bag. I took the bag back to House of Fashion within the same week. The manager said that they needed to inspect it. Seeing me waiting in the lobby they asked me to go and walk around their shop while waiting. After almost one hour I came back, still the bag was not ready. They asked me to wait again. After a while the manager came and told me that they can't fix it and that a refund or a replacement is out of the question. I do understand it's my responsibility to check the item before buying and that some items are nonrefundable. Even if the bag was working at the point of sale, it was broken within the next two days without even being used. I'm posting this to save another person from their low quality goods. House of fashions is selling poor quality, cheap items at high price tags. Don't be fooled by their appearance. I think the temporary stalls on pavement has better decency in such cases. There should be some process for such cases. Their simple response was “this can’t be, this never happened before”. Disgusting customer service and totally appalled by their lack of empathy. One place to buy most of your needs and wants. All kinds of clothes for both gender from kids to elders available. Good quality and unique. The prices are reasonable. Good collection of dresses at economical price ranges. Five floors where you get almost everything ranging from clothing, electronics, toys, food, etc... The place attracts a lot of tourists as well. Car parking is available. The kids' section is pretty interesting with a lot of varieties to choose from. The place is good for a few visits, but the collection gets a bit stale afterward. It would be good if the stocks/collections are refreshed more often. Various home decoration items are available and they are very beautiful and unique. The prices are reasonable too. Bedsheets and related stuff and kitchen electrical and plastic containers/stuff are available. Good service. The cafeteria area is available for short eats. Massive shopping complex with a variety of clothes and beauty items under one roof. Quality clothes with durability. They have a good underground parking space of 3 floors. They also have a food court inside the shop. Usually a crowded place. But the staff is working hard to get things done quickly. In the festival season there are more customers. Sort of an upscale place. The prices are a little bit high. Gift vouchers are available here if you are planning to give a gift. If you are looking for quality clothes and stuff, this is the place you should look. The car park is in the basement.

Best place to buy clothes and other stuff here. They have stuff from infant , kids, men, women, winter wear,other kitchen accessories.even they have home decor items and in the ground floor they have gifts items. Best super convenient place for me. In the festival season most busy place in the colombo area.

One of the oldest and biggest clothing stores in Colombo. Even after moving to a new building at Borella, this is still operating. You can buy clothes for the whole family from here and toys. Prices of some of the products are reasonable but some are not. Dedicated parking outside, can manage for a few vehicles. Easy access from the main road. Friendly and helpful staff. Usually not crowded other than during festival seasons.

This time when we visited this outlet my family loved the variety of choices that we could buy from. From Accessories to clothing they had every brand! It was so reasonably priced. We had a field shopping day here!! Loved to go back to shop until we drop dead!!

One of the most famous shopping locations in Sri lanka is back and open at its most famous location. This is surely a place any person in Colombo would have visited atleast once to shop. Name being house of fashion it is truly a house full of fashionable clothes which are reasonably priced for men women and children.

The selection of clothes is average, although the prices are reasonable. No fit on rooms, which is really annoying as I had to return thrice to exchange an item purchased, due to the sizes being incorrect. Whilst some staff are reasonable, helpful and friendly, the number of staff or the allocation of them needs improvement. Had to wait for a looong time till someone came yo the exchange counter..overall, an average store.. the former glory it had is no longer there..

A decent place to satisfy your clothing needs. This place is quite large with different variety and collection for people of all age and sex. The staffs are friendly and willing you help you out at any time. There is a dedicated parking place available therefore you don't have to worry about parking. The price for the clothes are also reasonable and competitive. They do run offers during festival time, but the place will be heavily crowded during those periods. In addition to clothes they have other cosmetic products and accessories. Overall a good place for shopping with you family and friends.

All you need in one store. Choose well. Some clothes are replicas. Winter collection is the best here. Ample parking space and spacious store with separate floors for each categories. Prices are very much affordable Separate food court to dine in.

My experience at House of Fashions was underwhelming. The absence of fitting rooms made it challenging to try on clothes, and the limited variety left me wanting more options. However, I must admit that the store does have an impressive winter clothes collection. The selection of winter apparel was noteworthy, featuring stylish and cozy options to keep customers warm during the colder months. Despite this, the lack of assistance from the staff was disappointing. While I appreciated the store's concept, these shortcomings impacted my overall satisfaction. I hope they address these issues in the future to enhance the shopping experience for customers.

The staff is relatively rude.the range of trousers are good and cheap but theres no fitting rooms. I lost my bag counter card which is my fault but the staff was overly rude on that even after I proved it belongs to me. Its a complete waste of time going there not knowing there’s no fitting rooms. And it turned out to be a bad experience with the incident.

Clothes are a hit and miss. There are some great deals, with labels taken out suggesting that these are factory rejects for a discount. No fit on rooms. No AC for most part of the day. Get ready to sweat! The final point for check out is so inefficient. They've even doubled the staff and they are still slow. Most items have to be carried by staff who run up several floors to get anew barcode. The barcodes look like they were pasted years ago and have lost their color.

HOFSL has 02 branches in Colombo, apparently they run their own show. If you want to exchange of a purchase you should go to the same outlet even though they have the same item in their other outlet they wont allow the exchange no matter what the situation is. Unfortunately they never thought of mentioning that in their exchange policy and display at the counters (Refer the picture) They need to improve the service standards, be more customer oriented and need to learn their customers are precious.

Ultra supreme spot for fashion related shopping. Both high budget and low budget dresses are available. Huge variety of selection is available. Foreign type and inland type dresses are available. Bank promotions also given during festival seasons and year end. Discount percentage will vary from 10% to 30%.

The place is up and functioning. But as not as big as the house of fashion borella. Being a regular customer of borella branch this branch feels so small. But overall the customer service is good and ample parking available. The place feel congested when overcrowded. There is only one lift functioning and you have to climb the stairs up as there are no escalators. Overall the collection was not bad. But felt congested.

The Store caters to alot daily needs and essentials for day to do life overall the store is good place and cheap , staff is 6/10

They turn off lights and AIr conditioning in this place and create a very uncomfortable situation for the customers to shop here. I spoke to the manager here called Ranga but he said they don’t turn AC on now to cut costs. My partner and I were sweating so much while looking at clothes at this place. We used our phone torch to look at clothes. The support staff was friendly but the manager needs to customer oriented. Prices have been increased by more than 3 times what it was before the pandemic. They keep the music on at the complex but turn off lights and AC and the management need to really reconsider their business strategy. If the customer isn’t comfortable, they won’t buy clothes here or stay look to look around.

One stop to buy most of your essentials. You can buy branded clothes for affordable prices. My wife bought a hm ripped jean for 2450/= which is cheaper when compared with other shops. There are lot of discounts available for household items also. There was no any parking space and we have to park vehicles on road.

Found very cheap water heater ....Iron....lamp shades ....u may get good selection of home accessories...but u need to visit now and then to pick those.....at this current price hikes ...I found really overwhelmed with these pricing .....at bamba outlet

I am extremely disappointed with the customer service I received from House of Fashion. I recently made a purchase from their store and there was an issue with the amount charged to my card. I have tried to contact customer service through email and WhatsApp, but I have not received any response. I also called customer service multiple times, but each time I was told that someone would get back to me within the day. However, I have not heard from anyone. I am very unhappy with the way they have handled this situation. I would not recommend this store to anyone.
