Shame to call them doctors for what they do... every time they feel like they let people suffer, so that those people who suffer at hospitals, who dont have any other ways, will cry out to media... Shame shame... they need to know the definition of a doctor.... they are educated earthly devils... they think they are Gods of Sri Lanka... one day, one day wen they too will have to leave earth, they will understand what they been playing with...

Worst doctors association in Sri Lanka. Always take a media briefing for announce a strike. More than 50days out of 365days in calender doctors pushed to strike from this organisation. Work for political parties in Sri Lanka. Worst medical council association in the world. Crucify the patients by doctors for get their benefits from government.

For those who have put some interesting negative comments, Understand that this is for welfare of doctors but nothing else; write or wrong. Here in Sri Lanka, nothing happen until you do a trade union actions. Those who can do so win, those who can not do so have to just wait and see!

Today we had to go to the GMOA main branch for a reason. Unlike the most of other SL government offices, this place is very efficient.everything has arranged properly. Without wasting a minute we could get our things done. Staff at the Account branch are really helpful and friendly. No attitude. Very professional. We were really impressed. Thank you so much for all your great efforts to make these standards.

In my experience so far GMOA HAS FAUGHT FOR THE maintenance of the quality of healthcare,standard of medical education,rights of the patients to receive quality healthcare more than the requirements of its membership.Personnel benefits and problems of general membership is the subject of least priority in GMOA that's why few people left GMOA to join less successful unions.
