A very nice couple of hours spent with the kids. Beach is free to use. Bathing / Swimming area is marked with an orange line. So use that area if you wanna take a dip. Use the shower rooms even before dipping in so that you can utilize the lockers in that also. Shower rooms are very clean. So its worth the price. Food court is also very nice. Pricy, but good food and drinks. Really wish this place will survive and keep up the quality of service!! I got registered via the app and registered our visit. But no one scanned it when we entered.

Currently we need to book our vehicle to get inside. There is an app in store with that app we need to book and it will generate a QR Code where we need to show in entrance. Still under construction some places. We can enjoy by playing golf. It's not an entire valley to play but not least can play up to 5 players. They have opened the beach for public as well as there are some restaurants we are familiar with. Most popular restaurants are kottu mee and big plate plus some Chinese restaurants.

The beach offers many restaurants and boat rides. The restaurants are very expensive, I bought a drink for RS200 but the marked price was RS100 it is kind of a scam. The boat rides on the other hand are reasonable. There are single boat rides, duo boat rides and group boat rides, there is even a boat for RS5000 for coral sightseeing and can accommodate 8 people.

This beach is a fantastic destination for family fun! The inclusion of watersports and a convenient food court make it a well-rounded spot for a day out. The variety of watersports adds an extra layer of excitement, offering something for every member of the family. The presence of a food court is a cherry on top, providing diverse culinary options to cater to different tastes. It's a great place to unwind and enjoy a meal with your loved ones after a day of activities. Sometimes the prices are bit high. For those traveling by vehicle, the process of obtaining a free pass through the app. This ensures a hassle-free experience, allowing you to focus on the enjoyment rather than administrative details.

I have been visiting Lanka since 2005, and I always love the nutritious food, people who call themselves as relatives for example a Lankan calling Tamil person as “ Machaan”, which is brother in law. In 2005, when I visited for the first time, I was literally carrying my Indian passport wherever I went, I was stopped by police men but they have never harmed me nor even criticise like looking at me by using the torch light. They will look at the photo on the passport and look at my face. They simply say take care. I had a little bit of bad experience like when I used my camcorder and shot video at Galle. I was shooting right from Colombo on my way to Katargama ( கதிர்காமம்) and I was taken to the Inspector of Galle police station by a military man who thought I took video of the Naval base. After knowing that I was innocent the inspector let me go but took the MINI DV cassette. Wishing me best luck. In the past 17 years, I have visited LANKA for about 15 times, I have traveled the dark street and I have stayed for 30 days and above. People are good. Politicians destroyed the nation. The Sinhala people worship Lord MURUGAN sincerely than Tamil people.

We loved our experience at the PC Beach Promenade. Lots of fun for families. The water sports are amazing. We did a ride inside a bubble and it was memorable. Didn't have time to dine in but there's lots of food outlets. Need to post directions to the location from entrance to port city. We got lost several times before reaching the promenade. Make it easier please.

We visited this place during late evening, around 6.30, night view also was nice. There are few shops have been opened such as Big plate, carnival, Indian kitchen , shawarma shop, Chinese food stalls etc… Especially the toilets facilities were good in condition. Some more constructions are also on process, hope we can enjoy those in future. Entry is completely free, but you can’t go inside by tuk or motorbike. You can have bath also there. Could be a different experience in an artificial beach for the first time in Srilanka. They have some boats and floating balloons too, you can book that enjoy it too.

Roaring waves can touch your heart and melt all the shackles over the soul. Awesome place for sunset point and family picnic. It is a bit difficult to find veg food here. One need to carry it with if planing to have picnic on the beach.
