for the 4th time had to send my executive chair to repair.think again before buy from this place.after we send to repair they teach us how to sit and get up from chair. very disappointing . will never recommend this place. last time it took more than 4 months to repair this. Update-Last time again on 2020.01.06 sent it to Hydepark Arpico to repair,and there manager(SISIRA) told this they will replace new unit for this chair and will replace within two days.today(2020.01.17 after 11 Days) after we called they told all staff went to a wedding, and ive called Navinna HQ.the one who answers told me the way i seat is the problem,te tried to teach how to sit on a chair :p (MR.asanka). if ur planning to buy from arpico don't.

A good place to buy furniture. Although they do not have premium furniture, they still have some decent furniture and a good variety of the same. We got some mattresses from there and it was quite good. They also delivered the same before time which was a pleasant surprise. They have a good variety with some good color options for tables chairs beds etc. Limited plastic furniture. It's a good place to buy furniture.

Customer service is really terrible. First person who came to help was really rude hence had to ask for a different sales agent, then that person went to assist another previous customer who came with a complaint. Therefore, had to wait in the desk until the payment being made. Really disappointed to get a service like this. However, they have good collection of furniture and other stuff. Located in a convenient location with ample parking space.

Purchased modern tables from there. Only 1 available at the store. But thanks to Thusitha, who arranged another one from baththaramulla and delivered it to me on time. Satisfied with the customer service.

I purchased a beautiful teak wood, 3 and 2 seater sofa set and I was really impressed by the customer service I received from this branch. Gihaan, Duminda, Pradeep were all so professional. Ensured all our queries were answered and definitely captured all our requirements without any issues and not showing any bother to our constant queries and amendments. They were professional from the initial day of interaction, to the moment the furniture arrived at our place. Worst after sales service. Bought a sofa 8 months back. One piece had a small scratch and they took it for correct it. Until now it is not returned. They have given all the silly reasons like a school boy

It has various good options of furniture for offices and houses. The wooden furnitures are overpriced than smaller shops. The sales agents not cares much about customers their help to get the product details is very minimum. The office tables and wardrobes in here is in good condition.

We ordered a springtime pillow top mattress for over 120,000 rs. and was promised delivery within 2 weeks. Had to continuously follow up over 4 days to get a proper response and finally mattress arrived with damage and when trying to contact the sales agent Saduni, no response. Unimaginable the type of customer service for such a high value item!

You can buy good quality furniture from here. They have a good collection too. (Beds, Bed Room Sets, Dining Tables, Veranda, Dining Chairs, Sety & Sofa, Almirahs, Dressing Table, Cupboard, Clocks etc.) There is separate parking available for the customers.

I generally like the Arpico Hyde Park facility particularly the Mall for which I have made a separate review here giving reasons. But one purchase I made several years back from Arpico Furniture left me somewhat dissatisfied with them including the manner the sales person who made the particular deal acted during the sale. It was one of the queen size beds (5x6 feet) they have, I purchased in a somewhat hurry without giving much thought or due consideration. However I feel as a furniture shop they should have known better about the products they sell and keep the customers well informed about them. The problem with the bed was that it had narrow bed-slats, the regular type you use for smaller size single beds, with a lot of empty spaces inbetween them, so much so that they not only did not provide adequate support for the mattress and also easily and often moved apart causing the mattress to sink inbetween them during sleep, despite some form of lose not so strong bands that tied them together, that too gave away easily in no time. See images #1 & #2 When I inquired from a different furniture vendor/manufacturer I was told that usually for large beds like queen and king size or even double beds these type of narrow slats are neither recommended nor used by them for the very reason I have been experiencing. Instead they use broad slats that are placed next to each other with no spaces inbetween in a manner that covers the full area of the bedstead or the frame so that they well support the mattress. Images #3 & #4 shows another bed I have purchased of the same size from a different place and how the whole area is fully covered with a thick board supporting the mattress very well. The problem with the sales guy was that he was inconvenienced by some personal matters which he ended up talking about with me and it seemed like he was expecting some favour from me to resolve them. If I can remember correct he was trying to leverage his position by interfering with the smooth sales process in order to influence me to oblige with his unspoken expectations. It was subtle but i was dissatisfied having recognised it. He was a single male from Ratnapura who was burdened by having to take care of his bed ridden father who has had a stroke. He had to commute daily to work from Ratnapura I think. And his married brother was not helping out. I can't remember what exactly was his implied expectation from me but can remember him acting in the manner I have described above. The image #5 shows the invoice/receipt. I have rated with three stars as I like the store in general but wrt this purchase my satisfaction is very low.
