A very welcoming and great experience, although only a 3 star hotel, it exceeds expectations making you feel at home.

Our room was gorgeous, clean and comfortable with a view of the Río de la Plata. The location can not be beat—two blocks from old Colonia and an easy 6-block walk from the Buquebus terminal. The breakfast is really good. And the staff is extremely friendly, accommodating, and helpful. Would stay here again in a heartbeat.

Really nice hotel with lovely staff and a great location. English was very well spoken which was great for me and the rooms were clean and spacious and had lovely bathrooms. The breakfast was as good as any I have had in Uruguay. Andres was very helpful throughout (as we're all staff but we just saw him more), he helped us with mate and answers any questions we had. There's a great selection of cultural and art books in reception as well as some homemade liquors including a lovely Baileys-esque dulce de leche one - delicious. I would definitely stay here again if I'm back in Colonia del Sacramento.

Efficient check-in using QR codes for links to wifi, then personal info and passport uploads to the hotel system via WhatsApp. Beautiful lobby with seating, books, liqueurs, sitting areas inside and out. 32 steps up to our lovely, albeit small room. Comfortable, but soft bed with luxury linens. Short on electrical outlets. Cool refreshing long narrow pool with hummingbirds flitting about in pleasant garden atmosphere. Best coffee, simple delicious breakfast. Excellent location on quiet street adjacent to historic center.

Only the breakfast is disappointing but all other aspects of our stay were excellent and met or exceeded our expectations. I think we were underwhelmed by the breakfast because we had just stayed at a boutique hotel in Palermo that had amazing breakfast and coffee. We still recommend this place highly as it's very comfortable and the staff was friendly and helpful. Our actual rating is 4.5

For a budget friendly option, the staff are very friendly (shout out to the kitchen lady)! The homemade dulce de leche and chocolate liquors are nice touches too. The breakfast is minimal but homemade and tasty.

It was a cozy hotel with great service. The breakfast was fair and we had everything we needed. It may be customary here to not have a mattress pad then a sheet covering, but it was just a sheet. Thanks for a great stay!

Very cozy hotel and great location. If you bring heavy luggage make sure to request assistance previously. They don't have an elevator and can require some physical help.
