    My first time using their Grooming Service and Andy was AWESOME! He took such great care of our sweet girl Jegs T603 who is a Retired Military Working Dog. She was starting to shed her undercoat and needed a good scrub! Andy did just that!! Her nails were grinded down perfectly and coat was shining like a diamond. We will be back :)

    No matter how many times I tell the vet my puppy won't drink water they ignore it and tell me she's fine. She's had about 3-4 visits now and they keep telling me "well get to it next time" she's had to get an IV because of how dehydrated she was and I feel like they are just milking us for money and I'm scared if I can't get her to drink soon she'll die but nobody seems to care. Edit: they saw her for an emergency visit after not being able to keep food down/not drinking water along with looking very skinny, sick, sent her home with paper white gums and basically told us they don't know so we took her to the ER and they said "we have no idea why they didn't give you this medicine already". We've spent over $1200 just to be told "she's fine" and now we have to put her down because she's slowly starving to death. I should have gotten a second opinion earlier and this might have been avoided.

    The worst groom I have ever seen on a Pomeranian. I paid nearly $100 and she looks like I let my 6 year old cut her hair. Completely uneven, hacked-up, chunky clipper marks everywhere. One side of her face is shorter than the other. She was definitely not brushed at any point, just shaved. There was still a knot in her fur! Her tail was tangly. I paid for nail grinding and tooth brushing - neither of which were done. It is obvious to me that while I made an appointment, she was probably just forgotten about until the last minute; I dropped her off at around 11:15 and she wasn’t ready until almost 5 and given how awful she looked, there is NO WAY it took five hours for that groom. And - when I came to pick her up, the gal at the counter COMPLETELY ignored us while we stood there and waited. Horrible experience all around and I will absolutely not be back. Ever.

    The only problems I have with this store is there is never enough lanes open. You will stand in a line forever. Also, like everywhere else, prices have been steadily climbing. There used to be buy 1, get 1 half off deals on stuff and they seem to have largely done away with that on certain items. Clean and well stocked

    I have a six-month puppy that is an active hunting dog breed. It was the puppy’s first experience of going into a store today (afternoon 10/23/2023). Your check-out clerk was totally rude. First, I had no time to make a new discount account when my phone number didn’t come up and the clerk replied, “It’s your money that you want to throw away.” Then he made fun of my dog’s name. I will order my dog supplies from Chewy from now on where the customer service reps are courteous.

    It's super close to my house so I'll visit for convenience. If I'm feeling adventurous or I want a larger selection of products I head to valley pets in fountain. Way better then the big box stores

    I took my dog there to get groomed. I’ve used PetSmart and various other grooming places for my dog and they usually take around 3-4 hours to groom him (he is a husky). I take him here and the first time they called after about 45 minutes and said he was done. I got him back and he smelled nice, but was hardly brushed out at all. I complained and the manager said they had a Covid scare so that’s why it was quick and not a great job, but they refunded me thankfully. With that being said, I decided I would try again in hopes of a better second time. After the second time, I was called 55 minutes later saying he was done and there was a similar result. I understand it’s a hard task to brush out and groom a husky, but I can’t pay $80 again for a subpar job.

    Lainey has groomed our pup twice now and has been great to work with. I know our dog can sometimes be a handful but I’m glad that she’s able to help him out and do it with a smile on her face, you can tell that she loves her work. Also, front desk staff has been cordial and friendly in every interaction I’ve had with them. Not sure where these other issues are arising, I’ve had positive experiences with them each time I’ve been in.

    After going through the reviews… I wish I had read them before. A few months back we came in over multiple store trips to purchase budgies/parakeets for our previous flock. They all had separate cages for their own space but we also had a large bathroom we had emptied and sanitized with bird safe products because our jumbo flight cage kept getting delaying in the mail. We made sure everything in this room was bird safe and we didn’t use it for anything else. While still within guarantee / return time frame windows. The birds started dropping dead one by one. Every couple of days we lost another bird. One we believe the other birds pecked to death. So we isolated all of them. But they just started dying. It would appear respiratory when I caught it happening. We’ve since tested our water and and air quality, thinking it was somehow our fault. It wasn’t the environment after two/three months I can confidently say that. None of my other animals (cat, frogs, lizard, axolotls, and various fish tanks) have had any troubles. Just the birds. We had brought them all in, intending to pay for their on site vet(this was months ago), but the staff intervened and were not confident that it wasn’t just “a bad batch” of birds. They explained to me that for the short period of time I had them, and how birds get sick and don’t show it until it’s too late, the staff expressed that they DID NOT BELIEVE it was my fault. I was encouraged to return them and to get my money back instead of throwing money at their vet. So then WHY when I come in today after several months to purchase two budgies and to try starting all over again with a new set up… I am approached and told “we can’t sell you birds because you have a history of returning them”….to which I informed them that they made me return them when I wanted a vet report. They denied me the vet and gave me my money back of THEIR choosing, not mine. Now you’ve trying to use that to blacklist me from sales? That doesn’t seem right at all. I said it was fine and I wasn’t going to argue with them. To which they changed their mind and said they’d sell me 1 or 2 but would not sell to me after today. That’s fine. Valley Pets staff is more knowledgeable and doesn’t try to lie or twist the narrative against their customers. I will be avoiding this entire chain going forward. How are you going to deny vet access to a customer willing to pay and then use that experience to “not sell to them” any longer? Your own staff thought you sold us sick birds, but now you get to tell a completely different story..? Shady shady shady. And yes. They still sold us two birds today. So what was the point of accusing me and embarrassing me in front of other customers just to turn around and make the sale anyways?

    Great experience with the grooming salon. They took good care of my pets. Very cute holiday bandanna with excellent products. Making my pups look, feel, and smell amazing!

    I have always had Persian cats and this time I bought a kitten and brought her from Moscow. Persian silver-white Chinchilla. They fed her European food. I cannot find it here. I buy a jar of different pate and try what she likes. This time I bought three cans of pâté for $3 and, as it turned out later, paid for a dog toy for $3.64, for charity! I understand that if I had a big purchase, then these donations are commensurate with the purchase, but it’s my own fault, English is not my native language, so everyone who is not lazy, “get into” my wallet. When I agreed to donate, I even explained to the cashier that you can round up the amount, but she did everything in her own way. Of course, I won't go there again. (((

    Had an issue finding curbside pickup so i called the store. The lovely lady guided me thru what to do, and I was able to make a normally 25 minute trip(including drive and shop time) down to about 15. Ive been shopping at this store for a year and will continue to do so. Thanks for being friendly and clean!

    So took Sherman Shepherd dog in for bath & grooming for $90. They said it would be 4 hours. Fine. They call in 2 hours and said they were done. Get there and they didn’t dry her and said she would not let them dry her. We get to the car ands she still covered in hair like they never even ran a brush through her fur. But, of course they still charged $90. I’ve never had this happen ever with her. EVERY time I’ve taken her for grooming I’ve always been told she is great. She does get excited when we get there to pick her up.

    I have returned 2 things on two separate occasions and was given the option to put it back onto my card or cash. Well, my husband went in tonight to return and they wouldn’t let him have cash, only a store credit. He asked for the cash but they refused. Why allow me and not him? It’s clear that this is something that can be done, so why aren’t you giving him that option? Will avoid this place at all costs.

    I'm very disappointed with the service for my dog at her last groom. I ordered the summer package plus. So it wasn't the cheapest. When I got her she didn't have her bandana nor did I get the little coupon booklet that was suppose to come with the package. I was suppose to get my choice of shampoo (I forgot to say which one) but they never asked me which choice I wanted. She came out and smelled like she wasn't washed at all. Her coat wasn't soft like it normally is when I pick her up. It looked like her nails were hardly touched with the grinder and I'm just highly disappointed with my service. I paid $70 for a service that was trash. the groomers name was Mariah

    They never have enough workers, you'll be standing in line forever. I can never find anything I'm looking for, everything is chronically out of stock & EXPENSIVE. I tried to take my dog to get groomed and I have to have ALL my vaccination records? Just to trim nails, really?? I'm never going to this store ever again, complete waste of time every time.

    Arranged like most Petsmarts, but typically not crowded and with helpful employees. I buy many aquatic things there and they have what I need with no problems regarding fish from their tanks; except bettas... they looked sad laying at the bottom of their cups!
