This place is easy to get your social distancing on! It’s always pretty busy but it’s very big and right in the middle of the city! My favorite thing to do is to look in the creek for fossils, there is also a place to rock climb on the other entrance(Capen). Also good area to look for flowers, raspberries, and mushrooms!!

Good times at this location! It's a gem in Columbia that had bits and pieces of history which is really cool. I do have to say that some of their trails are confusing and possibly mislabeled and or not drawn on the trail map at all.

Clean and safe. Maybe could use some trail signage. Must be a drought here now, the creek was dried up. Interesting creepy old silo, no extra charge. Saw a squirrel.

A great place to walk, bring a stroller or little kids on bikes, or jog. The parking lot is often full, so you can try to park at an another lot on the same trail - like at the Capen Park lot.

Phenomenal local hiking trail. Great overhead tree coverage to share the trail. Well maintained walkways. Great immediately next to trail is trimmed down to reduce insects, especially ticks. Off leash area.

This nature area is a leash free area for dogs which has over five miles of nature trails, a picnic shelter, restrooms, and is a trailhead for the Hinkson Creek Trail and the Grindstone Creek Trail. Wildflowers grow in the prairie areas.

I love to take my dog on swimming and trail adventures! My first time here and I was very pleased with the cleanliness of the trails, the amount of trails, the sights, nice amount of off into the woods trails & lots of fun & nice water accesses! I seen only a few people wide and spread apart which was nice that it wasn’t jam packed and I could enjoy my adventure with my pupper! We definitely will be back! I Definitely recommend bringing your dog(s) out there if you are looking for a good place to swim and walk!

I never been to that part of the trail tell my husband started inpation at the va hospital and I became homeless. And my husband has only 2 1/2 hrs of free time and it was close to the hospital so we started spending time there walking our dog and personal time in our truck and I can say nobody was nosie and not a lot of traffic.
