The best dive bar in Columbus. It has parking, and it that area parking close to the bar is valuable. It has cheap drinks, and the bartenders are more than capable of treating their customers with a friendly demeanor. The patio is great, and during game-days its even better. It has an old-school vibe, but for a bar that has been here for decades, its more than great. It's history.

Long live the bier stube! Been here forever and is legendary at this point. May it never close, may the taps never run dry. Progress creeps all around but it takes a good owner to refuse selling. Stay strong and support this bar!

This is my personal favorite bar so I may be a bit biased, but I think its one of the best in Columbus. Its a bit divey, but in a historic way, and everything is very reasonably priced. My dad went here a lot in the 80s and not much has changed! There's also an original jukebox with lots of great music options. The music reaches out to the patio in front. Long live the Stube!!!

This is my favorite dive in Columbus. Old school juke box. Ted Danson at the bar. Christmas lights year round. What a magical little place. Friendly staff.

The best bar on campus. The drinks are tall and well-priced. The jukebox is the best (and only?) on campus. Craig, the owner, is always a pleasure and even the bouncers are great guys. The atmosphere of the Stube cannot be beat.

Objectively a great place. If you are looking to club, get crazy, then go somewhere else; with all due respect. However, if you want a beer or 5, and want to relax w/ some 80s music, PLEASE come here. It’s a great bar. Affordable too. Only a few months left until they tear it down. Get in while you can.

This is the only place I live near that I can get a double shot of tequila for $4. It's their well tequila obviously but I honestly like La Prima so I definitely don't mind buying the well liquor here lol 🤣

Ich liebe die Bier Stube! The atmosphere always has a nice vibe whether inside or outside and you never feel bored there. The bar always has a good amount of people in it without it feeling overcrowded. It will soon be your favorite go-to place with your friends for a great night!

This place is a dive bar in ALL the best ways. Shout out to Craig for being so friendly and quick with the drinks. They also have an old school jukebox—4 plays for a dollar!

Weird little place, but I like. Good beer selection, consistently competitive drink specials. Offers plenty of dive-bar atmosphere, if that's what you're looking for. Every other person there seems to know one another, but that makes for fun people-watching/eavesdropping.

I started going there in the 80's. So many excellent memories. Do you remember Doug's Avanti? HE is a Legendary bar owner. He was nice to me because of the girls I knew there and later he liked me because I was cool. He hugged me on Christmas Day one year. TYSON GERHOLD. Who was your buddy that barfed on the jukebox that one night? I was picking songs with Him and YAAAACCCKKKK all over the glass and he went to the bar for another .CLASSIC. That place looks EXACTLY the same inside.
