My first and hopefully last visit here! It's now 03:35 on 28MAR22 and as I enter the ER entrance I find the check-in nurse sleeping and a janitor and security guard sitting beside her with their faces buried in their phones. I walk past them and into a waiting room area where another nurse snaps at me stating I can't be in there without checking in. I turn and ask do I wake her up or do you? At this time a police officer walks up and says you have to wear a mask to be in here. I look at the three employees and state hmm at least the cop is doing his job in which none reply or do anything. I leave and wait for family to meet me outside. While waiting I go back in and walk to what looks like a bathroom and the same nurse states you can't be over here! I calmly ask the nurse where a bathroom is? and its down the hall past sleeping beauty and the meme geeks. I finally meet w family outside to discover that there are no swap out of care givers until 8am in which we explained and asked the policy before I left, and now I just drove 4 hours to sleep in my car waiting for 08:00. No I do not know what the sleeping nurses day was like but I do know that when you are in a position as the first person someone sees as a customer then you need to greet this person and ask them why there here today or maybe even how can I help you? but wait you have to be awake to do that. Needless to say very unprofessional first impression can't wait to see how the day shift handles things.

They are unprofessional all over. Why do people have to wait on a bed for labor and delivery but the appointment has been set for two weeks as is. Everybody has a attitude and when u go up there everybody sitting down behind the desk. If you don't want your job just quit. Cause I'm just trying to deliver my baby. If I wasn't prepared this wouldn't be a problem but your inconveniencing me and my arrangements. They gotta do better or just fire them all.

This place is compete trash. It deserves a 1 star average rating. I would bet good money that the majority of 5 star reviews are from staff or their friends and families. I'm sure this is an awesome place to work as a nurse since you only need to work 10% of the time. You can go for an emergency here, get told to leave without results and then have to go somewhere else to even get a clue of what's wrong. This place is destined to collapse under the weight of its own corruption and incompetence.

On august 17, 2022, I took my 4 year old son to Piedmont pediatrics. We are African American and the physicians on duty made us feel like we were experiencing racism. We were seen by Rebecca Reamy and Christina. They were not patient, were not helpful, they lacked empathy and acted as if my 4 year olds son behavior was abnormal. My son stuck an object in his nostril. They were not helpful, they gave up and Christina told me (he is able to breathe so we can just refer him to a Otolaryngologist). The experience was absolutely disgusting. We left this hospital at 2am and went straight to St. Francis where nurse Practitioner A.J and his team really truly helped us and removed the object from my toddlers nostril!

I delivered my son's here, when st. Francis cause the death of my first son piedmont treated me with the upmost respect. I wouldn't choose a different place. My nurse Betty really was the iron that got me through the c-section I was terrified off. Bless them.

I came in for coffee ground emesis and nausea with severe epigastric pain. Waited in the lobby about 30 mins. No one in site. Crying, balled up in pain. They brought me back to the room. Did not ask any family history and didn’t listen when I explained my symptoms. I am an RN and explained I had symptoms of a stomach ulcer dt coffee ground emesis. Took for ever to get someone to come and start an IV- they then decided to give me an NSAID, which is not recommended if you are bleeding….. they gave me a bag of saline, did not wash their hands or clean the hub of my iv before hooking me up. Gave me some nausea meds. Then drew labs. Didn’t tell me what they ordered. Then they took me to CT. After back to the room. The NP came in, literally says “all your labs, elytes and lipase is fine, must of been something you ate” “your ct came back…… explained results”. Then wrote a script for an antispasmodic for my gut, and said I could go home. Not once did anyone assess me. They did not do any cardiac labs, although I vape and have a family history of MIs. Took forever for them to discharge, then billed for 10k for absolutely nothing. Post discharge still have nausea and epigastric pain…. Took antacid with relief after a couple days. Very disgusted and unpleased with the lack of care and receptiveness to issues voiced upon arrival. None of my issues were addressed and I felt very dismissed.

I was Hit by a car getting off work on August 12th at 8:45 a.m. It was a 3 car pile-up. I was then taken to Piedmont Columbus Regional Midtown. It was there they told me after running the test and had to cut my Nursing Uniform Off that I have a Fractured Neck. I was placed on the 6th floor. The nurses and Dietary staff was truly professional and amazing. But after it was almost time for me to be on Aug 18th dismissed from the hospital another test was done. It was getting late so my nurse that evening said I can leave the next morning. I agreed that was better for me because of the timing. This Doctor by the name of KRISTINA MARIE CANCRO,M.D. came into my room very UNPROFESSIONAL, and loud and Disrepectful. She walked around my room with her hands in her pockets and said to me. I needed to leave I was not that sick to where I need to leave in the morning. There are other sick people that need this bed. I said WHAT!!!! who are you. she then told me who she was.I immediately told her to please leave my room speaking to me this way. She said she is not going anywhere.. Then she said to me if i dont leave she will call security on me and drag me out of the bed.. Remind you i have a Fractured Neck head that is in a head brace. I then had to ask for the nurse to call the House Supervisor. She came and appolgized of the way she act towards me and that she was going to write her up. This is what Ms. Louise said the House Supervisor. This hospital is the worst I have ever experience in my life. they did not even give me my discharge papers to see what doctor i need to see in 2 weeks. I would never go to this hospital ever and I really recommend no one else go there. Please be advised of this particular Doctor. she needs to be held accountable of her actions.I will definitely be seeking more action.

The admitting OB, Antoinette Lee-Gregory was rude and abrasive when I was in labor. She asked me three times, "you're doctor says you're expected management, why are you here and what do you want to do?' I didn't go to medical school, I had no idea what "expected management" was. I just kept telling her I was in labor and I wanted to have my baby. She kept getting more angry with me every time she re stated her question, that I clearly didn't understand. Even the nurses told me she was not being reasonable (when she was out of the room) Once I was admitted, Maria was the best nurse! But I don't recommend having a baby here if you can help it.

After spending nine days & nights with my Mother in this hospital (Piedmont Columbus Regional Midtown Campus) this was our experience. The doctors are very good, even brilliant!! The hospital staff needs TRAINING, they are unprofessional. Most are downright rude, I even had to remind one of the Techs that we are paying customers. The staff has spoken down to my Mother and me more than ten times. I lost count at that point I was so frustrated. Three different times I had management in her room to ask/beg for help. Every time they were nice and apologized but nothing changed. The care was as if we were in a third-world country. Over the nine days and nights, these are a few things I have witnessed, nurses and techs loudly laughing and playing, even skipping down the hallways at night. Staff eating in the family waiting area, sitting in chairs eating in the hallway. The staff is constantly on playing on social media on their cell phones and some even sleeping at the nurse's station or with their heads down. More than half the time the food was not tasty, and I bought food for my Mother. Meal trays delivered by staff are left in the room for 4 to 6 hours after a meal. Once even overnight. To buy a meal in the cafeteria hospital averages $7.00 to $15.00 per meal. Vending machines are almost empty by 7:00pm. The coffee shop was closed all weekend. The cafeteria closes at 3:00pm M-F and is closed on Saturdays, and Sundays they are open from 3:00am to - 11:00pm. When you call for a nurse or tech to come to your room you must wait up to an hour before anyone comes. When I would walk up to the nurses station at least half were hanging out on their phones or talking about their kids or what they were going to do this weekend. More times than not I had to get ice and water for my Mother. Once I was tired for an hour for her a drink and went to a vending machine to buy her a ginger ale. After there was an accident with human waste on the floor it took two hours for someone to clean it up with a dirty mop and dirty water. Trash overflowed in her room twice. Five out of the 9 days we were told that they were understaffed, twice we were told that there were enough supplies that they would have to find what they needed on another floor, and three hours later someone would come back to give an update. At this point, you may or may not get what you asked for or what you need. Once we were told no one did the laundry so they didn't have enough towels to give baths, so they used baby wipes for three days to bathe my Mother. If you must stay in the hospital for any length of time, BEWARE! You might even want to think twice. If you have a loved one/family member that is not able to take care of themselves, please stay with them!!!! This hospital violated HIPPA law and gave my Mother’s personal information to her neighbor. After this happened, I asked the hospital to please make her stay private. As a visitor there is a 20 to 40-minute wait for visitors to get checked in at the visitor's desk, you must have a picture ID to be scanned into their system. Since the hospital gave my Mothers information out to someone who called on the phone. This led me to wonder where my personal information was going. When I asked the front desk where my information was stored and who has access to my driver's license information. I explained that I too have a right to privacy and that I, as a visitor, am not protected by HIPPA laws. I was told by a security guard that I was harassing the staff. At this time the security guard continued to follow me down the hall in a treating manner. My dog has been treated better at her veterinarian’s office. My family's experience with Piedmont Columbus Regional Midtown Campus is there for the staff NOT for the paying customer.

Piedmont is a very good hospital however the reception I got at the ER entrance was something else. I entered the door and asked for the direction of medical records. The young lady said” I think there closed.” I said well just want to be sure. How do I get there . She said you hav me to go back outside and go to the building and pointed at it. It’s about 75 feet. I said I’ll just use the hallway. After she said I could when I first came in she now said I couldn’t. The hallway literally to the records department is 15 feet to her right. It’s a 102 outside, I’m clearly disabled, she could of cared unless!

$750 bill for an NP to diagnose my spouse with the flu under 5 minutes with zero tests. Not to mention that they couldn't be bothered to file insurance after much spouse provided her card to them in person AND i verified that it was up to date in mychart. Update: Tricare paid the bill and sent us a confirmation number. They are still sending us bill notifications. Absolutely ridiculous.

I was rushed here bc of my gallbladder and they kept me overnight. They sent me home without any pain medication. He said he thought I was good. I mean they did pump me with morphine so of course I was good when I left😒. They scheduled my surgery for two weeks from that day. Well guess what… I was rushed back to this hospital two days later with the same symptoms. Come to find out my gallbladder was inflamed and I had gangrene on my gallbladder. Well the staff was super nice but I had surgery and they let me lay in that bed for an entire week without walking me. I asked over and over again for someone to walk me but I kept getting different stories. By the time they did walk me I had to use a walker bc it was hard for me to stand. They also left my I V in the entire week and it was leaking. This was the worst experience I’ve ever had to deal with from a hospital.

Its been a year so the anger has subsided and its time to review. Simply put my loved one was assaulted by a staff member and then abandoned while in crisis a few days later by the same staff member. I witnessed both as I was a patient in the same room. On both occasions I asked immediately to speak with a hospital administrator. I believe this is a right of patients under the "patient bill of rights". This right was denied. This place is a cess pool of human indignity. The actual staff of Piedmont are horrible. The traveling nurses were good. There were numerous violations of standard protocol that I will not get into here. (I am a former hospital administrator so I know but some even a layman would know). I finally did get a chance to speak with administration just before her discharge a few weeks later but only after I threatened going to the medical board and state of Georgia. You cant sue no matter how negligent because it was covid related. My wife was treated like a non human. One patient advocate, while alone in an elevator, admitted she had never seen a patient treated so poorly and admitted that what happened was assault and patient abandonment. The letter I received weeks later reported that nothing wrong was found. Do not go into this hospital system. Especially Columbus Midtown. I know there must be people there with a great heart and a passion for people. We met none of them. There was no part of her care that would be deemed appropriate. I have been to multiple hospitals in 3rd world countries and the care was slightly above that but only because of cleanliness of the facility. Just needed to get this off my chest finally. Have a great day and please go over to St. Francis if you care for your loved one or yourself.

My experience with the Labor and Delivery department was amazing. Me and my baby were treated very well. My midwife Danielle was super sweet and one of the night nurses Ms. Yvonne went above and beyond. Everyone else was also great! I am very satisfied.

The Pediatric ER staff were amazing. They were very friendly and played with my 2 year old daughter to help calm her down. They brought her a popsicle, which she loved. The wait time was very short and the care was amazing. This is the 3rd time I've had to come here and each time the staff were great! I don't usually leave reviews, but I wanted to give credit where credit is due.

Doctors and Nurses inattentive, argumentative, and vindictive. Made numerous mistakes regarding patient care. Argued with patient and family. Refused to release patient without ems transport, then did not order transport for 4 hours despite telling patient a scheduled time. Threatened patient with insurance nonpayment if they left by another way after dr discharge. Failed to order patients discharge medication. Refused to allow patient to speak with someone to file a complaint.

If I was able to give this hospital zero reviews, I absolutely would. While I was visiting my father at the hospital, I had to constantly ask somebody to bring him more water and after awhile they still wouldn’t bring it to him so I’d have to ask somebody again. His nurses are friendly for the most part but they still seem neglectful to say the least.

I hate to write a negative review because the staff were excellent after I was admitted. The negative review is because I was made to wait 10 hours before being moved into a room. I was at the ER because my PCP told me to go immediately for a transfusion. I'm a dialysis patient and was in the middle of my cycle and assumed we could drain my fluid at the ER. I'm not meant to keep a fill cycle in me for longer than 8 or so hours before it becomes dangerous, but I didn't anticipate having to wait longer than that. We tried communicating this to the desk staff multiple times, and they didn't seem to grasp the severity of it. On the 3rd time (at around 10 hours) I slipped and used the f-word while describing it (the situation, not her) and she went off on me saying she could ruin my day and to step back, and then called security. Luckily a nurse ended up coming and when I explained the situation she understood and got me to a room quickly, where the nurses who drained me were horrified at how long I'd been made to wait with a dwell inside me. We had arrived at 1 and it wasn't until 11 that I finally got a room. I would strongly recommend investing in some kind of way to warn people of expected wait times, even if it's just scrawling on a chalkboard outside the ER entrance. A lot of people were saying they'd have gone elsewhere if they'd known and I can't say I blame them.

This is the most ridiculous organization I have ever been to. Your loved ones are only allowed 2 visitors per day. Thats right! Not just 2 at a time but 2 for the entire day! My daughter drove for an hour to see her brother that was in a wreck last night and was refused! I will never use the services of Piedmont again. I had a choice last night and obviously made tge wrong one coming here. It's like lock down all over again.

I hate to give you three stars but i don’t have choice! I just have my baby over there and the nurses at the fourth floor are all so nice and helpful. The problem I had simple but need honest! I checked out at 3PM 8 Nov 2023, my room was 439. I forgot my phone charger in the room and I am 100% sure it’s still on that wall behind the bed cause my nurse helped me plug it in there. I checked out went home and recognized I forgot it. I called and asked around 7:40pm the nurse went check and said don’t see it. I know for fact that it would still on that wall if somebody don’t take it. It’s small but it’s about honest which is so important in this environment! Why we have to lost a charge at the hospital????!!!!

Second shift on the 8 floor is the absolute worst besides the sweet nurses I've met. I call to the front for my nurse for pain meds it takes over a hour sometimes then when my nurse arrives after the fourth or fifth time I found out they had just informed them sometimes like I said after a hour or more

Took my mother in to ER for possible pneumonia and chest pains. 5 minutes in ER and we were taken to a room. Front ER staff was very professional and courteous. The Dr (Weldman), nurses, techs and therapists in the ER were phenomenal. Very nice and efficient. I'll add that I had bad experience at Medical Center years ago and have never went back or taken anyone there. From yesterday's visit, a 100% complete turnaround. I'd recommend Piedmont Midtown anyone needing ER care. Thankfully, my mother's pneumonia was mild enough that she was able to go home and do her medications. Thank you to all of the staff!!

Staff was very unprofessional and no empathy. For people who are supposed to care for people they did not show my son any care or concern. He had a complication from a surgery and they put him in a waiting room and left him. When I tried to see him the front desk took approx 20 mins to call to the back and I was told that I could not see my son. My son ended up walking out due to lack of compassion or concern. She, lady at front desk, rolled her eyes and that was that! Highly unsatisfied!!!!!

This review is for the labor and delivery department at Piedmont. Everyone we came in contact with went above and beyond throughout our stay. I would even consider my delivery like a mini vacation! Julia, Erin, Kelli, and Kayla our nurses were wonderful, check in was wonderful, everyone was great and good at their jobs! I would recommend Piedmont Midtown to anyone wanting to have their baby here! We were well taken care of :)

I recently had a spinal fusion done, and was spending my recovery here. Definitely a painful process to go through, but the nurses that tended to me were amazing! I want to give a huge thanks to Christine & Magariete, on the 6th floor, for making everything super comfortable not only for me, but my sister staying there as well. I couldn’t have expected anymore professionalism and kindness from these two, and I hope they are acknowledged and recognized for their care and compassion to their patients and guests. Thank you so much! With exceptional gratitude, Room #624 : )

Compassion is GONE!!!! Lil girl at the front with the glasses didn't want to help us at all she call my name and starts talking to her coworker then looked at us like we were bothering her stands up and walks through a door without a word then looks at us like we wasting her time WE DONT KNOW WHAT TO DO SHE DIDNT SPEAK TO US! Finally she waves us through the door like we are cattle. She leads us to another waiting room. While we waiting in the back there are trainees on the floor with a nurse who was very erratic real hyper and rude. They didn't know or care that we were there and I hear them playing rock paper scissors for who is going to deal with us. Lovely right? So they put us in a room and Its TRASH no equipment no pole for an IV no nothing except the stains on the floor maybe urine and the others were definitely blood That is now mixed with my blood cuz the stuck me twice wrong and blood leaked on me the chair and the floor. The lil girl wiped the CHAIR FIRST and then with the same gauze tried to wipe me . Finally the doctor comes in and he seems like he is a good guy but then he leaves and a DOCTOR doctor comes very calm very professional I immediately felt better about my treatment older guy Ear Nose And Throat doc Waldman or Cook whichever one of these guys is an ENT doc HES THE MAN WONDERFUL THE ONLY GOOD IN THE WHOLE PLACE.

I've been making several attempts to set up an appointment. The one time I did get it set up I could not receive the results the day of despite being told I'd receive said hard copy, and was advised the physician wouldn't read my results until a week later. I went to pay off the rest of the appointment so of course they can accept my money at any time but the time I need my results I'm advised they're in a meeting and pretty much spent an hour plus in the lobby. One of the receptionists then told me to come the next morning in which I work in the morning and can't afford to take that route and miss work. I get she didn't know that but then "jokingly" decided to mention that's poor planning on my part. Considering I've made several calls and got transferred to different departments that had nothing to do with what I called about, or departments that had hold times that ended with the line disconnected; I'm not entirely what the joke is or what a part of that is poor planning. I don't get the joke. Considering I'm setting these calls and trying to reach someone for specific information regarding results for enlistment in the military, the entire process of getting the appointment, getting the results, and just getting in contact with anyone through the phone line the works when it wants to sounds very much anti-military. I don't want to think the hospital is that, but just for reference it seems the hospital favors throwing obstacles at you at every turn

Surgeons and trauma team were great as well as most nurses our first few days. The last few days it was like I should be added to their payroll for the amount of work we did to get simple things such as meds on time. Lots of misinformation throughout the stay as well. We transferred to another facility and have had 100x better experience. For major things, I’d give 5 stars but in terms of care from the nurses, we were largely disappointed.

There was this girl name Alex with beautiful eyes and a beautiful soul too match . She made me feel so calm and gave me emotional support my whole procedure. I appreciate every nurse on duty but Alex was extra special to me being that I went into this situation with nobody beside me . I really appreciated her support and explaining that I shouldn’t be fearful because it was quick and painless and she did not lie ! Thank you soo much Alex!

I get it - the hospital is understaffed. Triage rooms are filthy and unhygienic. Admitted patients have to wait over 12 hours before they can be moved to an actual room. On-call doctors have very little to no bedside manner. The nurses don't care enough to ensure patients are receiving proper treatment. It's a mess - you'd be better off traveling two hours to Macon's Coliseum Hospital or going to Atlanta's Grady Memorial Hospital.

I finally gave in on an acute throat problem and went to the ER for treatment. From front to back it was a good experience the friendl y security officer, the kind and caring intake receptionist, and a special shout out to Chris my nurse for trying to make it as pleasant as he possibly could. Thanks from the bottom of my heart.

Early Saturday morning I brought my boyfriend here because he thought he was having a heart attack. He wanted to come here because back in September he had a pacemaker put in at this hospital and thought maybe having his records already here would help. We go in we told the lady at the front desk we thought he was having a heart attack . She told us to go set down and they would call him back shortly. After a little while some guy came got him and done a EKG. I asked do he have a heat attack and the guy said well not the big one . We go set down a while later they came and took him back and drew blood. Sent us back into the waiting area. Then they came got him to do a chest X-ray. Then sent him back out into the waiting area . They had maybe six people out there .After waiting and him bend over with pain I walked back up to the desk and ask if they could help him. I was told that the area he needed to be in was full and the other beds was for people with non Emergency care . After telling us they would be coming out every two hours to do bloodwork to just stay seated. After a while we left and he was taken to a different hospital and right away they took him back. He was having a heart attack and if he would have waited much long he probably wouldn’t have made it . How can . I hope we never have to come to this Piedmont again . It seems they are in the business for letting people die. Shame on all of you .

This hospital is overall all terrible if you need some serious medical help. Depending on the floor, 75-95% of staff are burned out and don’t care about patients. If you are hospitalized alone without loved ones your chance of survival are severely reduced. 8-10 doctors spend less than a minute with you if they even see you at all. They will over medicate you and have no idea or care in regard to how the drugs will metabolize in your system. Charting and observation combined are a distant dream in this hospital. HIPPA means nothing, they will talk about you openly in the halls doctors and staff alike. If you need a respiratory therapist may God have mercy on you. They have 2-3 floors of patients and cannot respond quickly nor will nursing staff take measures to save you when you are in respiratory stress. If you have any legitimate issue with staff you are out of luck patient advocate will gas light you. Best bet for anyone over 60 is to leave it in the hands of whichever deity you pray to because you will be subject to torture here. Bless this healthcare system’s little heart.

If I could give zero I would this is the worse experience of my life. Left in bed with rails up no call light then got the call light because I had to go the bathroom and no one came until afte 30 minutes and zi had to call the hospital operator for that.

I delivered a healthy baby boy at Piedmont 03/2022. From beginning to end, everything went wonderfully. I am very thankful to the nurses that cared for us.

Worst ER care ever. I came in at around 3 or 4 and waited for 3+ hours for a room. There was someone literally there all day just waiting for a ride and a lady literally crying and puking. We just had a o sit and listen to the sounds….I was there for coughing up mucus and blood and have yet to get a room. They take there time so if you have an actual emergency don’t go here……

Kim Pulliam, mama baby nurse went above and beyond to help us get rest after our baby boy was born. We hadn’t slept in 3 days and she gave us that much needed rest and helped out with our son so we could get a few hours of sleep! She was a life saver, thank you so much for your service and kind nature!

TL;DR Went to the emergency room for a golf ball sized scrotal mass only to be told they don't know what it is and to take better care of myself. Felt like the physician did not focus on the reason of the visit and instead berated me based on how I look. Felt like a number not a patient. Unprofessional and was just left with more questions than answers. Was prescribed antibiotics but had to call the next day as it was sent to another urgent care instead of a pharmacy.

Was taken by ambulance, Christmas Eve, in bad shape. The team was incredible! My nurse was an angel. I have zero complains, if anything I just wanna praise the team that took such great care of me.

I guess I feel lucky considering all the bad reviews. They treated me like a princess. I came in with astronomically high blood pressure seriously in stroke range. They did everything I felt needed done from my face going numb and getting sick. And every test they could do to ensure me I was okay. Thank you so much for a great ER staff. I have very tiny veins. Even the nurse was so careful with me when I got my IV. She went and got the ultrasound machine to find a vein that wouldn’t hurt me. I am so thankful for everything they did. From the brain scans. And just every little thing. Coming here after my brother died here is a hard thing. First time I’ve been able to walk in that door without an immediate melt down. Really just felt like a caring place. Thank you all.

I was sent to the OB Emergency Dept from MACH due to an elevated heartrate and possible blood clot. From the moment I arrived, I was treated like an inconvenience. The nurses put me into a room, 3 of them hooked me up to machines without telling me what they were doing. They kept saying I was nervous because my heartrate was high and I kept explaining that I wasn’t and that’s the whole reason I was sent. They finished with the machines and walked out. I waited 30 mins for them to bring my husband into the room. They did not check in or update me for over an hour while I waited for an ultrasound. After the ultrasound it was another 20 mins before anyone came in to speak with me. The OB said that this wasn’t an OB issue and that I needed to go to the main ER. He walked out and we waited another 30 mins. My husband finally went to see what was going on and found the nurses gossiping about how we wasted their time and they didn’t know why we went to OBED. My husband told them we were sent by my main OB. They then walked me down to the ER and I waited another 3 hours to get checked out again, ultimately to be sent home and told to follow up with my family doctor. Throughout the entire process, there was no empathy and no updates. In total I spent 7 hours there and got no answers. I hope I never have another emergency that requires me to come here.

This hospital is sad and don't give no care about their patients. They will do anything to protect their employees. My shoes has been stolen and they acting like they don't know what happen to them. I went to the hospital with shoes and left with none. They really need to do better.

My husband is scared to death of hospitals and he wanted me with him at all times. I rushed him to the ER for a major facial burn and they threated us that if he wanted to be seen I had to wait in out in the waiting room, They would make us leave if I didn't. It was just the 2 of us. Husband and wife. Why couldn't I go with him? One star for the threat and I do NOT appreciate it!

If I could give these people 0 stars, I would. The OB emergency nurses were absolutely horrible and I don’t even know who hired these people. They are not compassionate, no table side manners, can’t even do their job correctly, can’t even put an IV correctly! I would never recommend this terrible hospital to anyone. You’re better off driving an hour+ to different hospitals, at least the service would be better.

L&D: I had my baby via c section yesterday. I was very late and everyone was so nice and understanding and still managed to get me into surgery on time. The anesthesiologist was amazing as well as Dr. Villegas(who also delivered my other baby last year). The RN, Christy, who has been helping me during the daytimes has been phenomenal! I wish every person could get to experience her care, because she has made my stay so comfortable and great. Every other nurse has been so nice as well! Labor and Delivery hires some real super hero’s.

I went to the hospital because I got sick and ended up having my baby and someone stole my shoes either when I was sleeping or when I change my room after having my baby. It's been 7 weeks and no one still have not got in touch with me about it. They keep telling my that they are looking into it. But really don't nothing. -Tiffany

My husband was at Midtown from August 16 to August 21, 2023. There were a lot of really good, helpful and patient people that helped us. I want to recognize them.. L. Johnson, C. Teate, Dr. Floyd, Dr Zubair, Dr. Jacobs and a guy who transported us from the room to pre-op whose name is Jerome. There were many more but I want to recognize the ones I can. Thank you to all.

Staff is rude and unprofessional. Worst hospital I have ever been too. Front desk should be compassionate and understanding because they do not know the hardships of some that walk through the doors to visit an ill loved one. If you hate your job please do us all a favor and find a new one!

Thank you for an absolutely amazing experience. I just had my first child and am extremely impressed with the way I was treated during my Labor and Delivery as well as my recovery days. Every person on my team was respectful, kind, and diligent. I could not have imagined a better experience.

Slow 7 hour wait to even get back to a room - even when the emergency room was near empty. Front desk staff unable to offer any help or updates. So disappointed in the quality of care and lack of other options for treatment when have a medical emergency. When we did get a room it was filthy - picture below is of the hospital bed.

My great grandmother that is 81 was perfectly fine at home until she suddenly had shortness of breath so we had to call the ambulance. She was perfectly fine and on oxygen until we left the hospital and soon as we left they sedated her and she became unresponsive and will not wake up and she is currently in icu. Also the doctors were not professional and didnt want to do their job.

Front desk employees were terrible. Said only 2 people could go visit a patient and then heard them tell an older man with his wife only 1 person could go back…. Saw 3 people come in together of the same race as the front desk employees and they let all 3 of them go back to visit their family. Then began kicking everyone that was in the lobby out. Don’t know if any other hospital that has that “rule” nor does it make any sense to only allow 2 people back there but change it up when people of their same race come in with more than 2 people. Needs to be some changes

😠 I’ve been to Riverside 3 times in less than a year, each time to accompany a sick relative. Avoid this hospital at all costs, go to Ohio State.
