I discovered the Saint Jean Commandery during an exhibition currently being held there from . This exhibition in the name of "arborées" highlights three high-level exhibitors who are: Emeric Chantier, Marie-Noëlle Fontan and Geneviève Matthieu. Strong points : - A historic building to discover. - The welcome from the staff was very warm. - A very beautiful exhibition to see. - The interior is very well arranged and warmed by a giant and silent fan. - A collection of marble slabs to discover. - Very bright exhibition spaces. - A peaceful garden where you can sit and listen to nature speak to us. Weak points : - I did not notice any weak points. Conclusion : It is an exceptional building to take the time to discover because it is part of the history of the city and has a very rich past. My favorite is the reception staff who, in addition to welcoming you warmly, give advice on the different places in the city to visit. I recommend this place to lovers of arts and history but also to those looking for a place to relax.

Visit this pretty exhibition space as part of the L'oeil Urbaine photography festival. The walk to the Commanderie from rue Saint-Spire gives the opportunity to discover bucolic parts of Corbeil.

It is not the quality of the place that I criticize but the site manager who led me to believe that this Sunday, April 23, that it was possible to visit the place and thus benefit from the photo exhibition “L'Œil Urbain ". Closed site, unnecessary waste of time... all this is very regrettable in this urban environment where culture is hardly favored!

A place of great historical importance thanks to the Treaty of Corbeil of 1258 signed between Jaime I D Aragon and Louis IX (Saint-Louis). which marked the borders of the two states.
