Hakuna Lodge is the ultimate relax place, surrounded by pure nature you will find your peace here. Reaching it via boat and carriage or "speed" boat was easier than expected and has some adventurous flavour. The meals are served in a community place were you get together with the other guests and meet nice people like we did. The food was european with a regional touch (pasta with fish). Boat tours etc. can be organized by the host and cost extra, hiking the island is beautiful.

The chef at Hakuna Lodge makes it totally worth the time there. I spent 4 days there and it was wonderful just to do nothing! I strongly recommend taking the Horse-drawn Bourette Ride through all the villages. Tout était absolument magnifique! La cuisine est carrément cordon bleu!

An amazing weekend get-away from the daily routine of life. The short boat trip to the island was fascinating, as we saw the islands of Sin Saloum. Once we arrived on the pier, the workers were very welcoming and helped us with our luggage. The rooms are comfortable and include outdoor seating too. The open air shower was a real delight. Food was absolutely delicious - fresh fish and delicious side dishes. Fishing is a major activity at Hakuna Lodge, fishing rods are available at your disposal and you won't have a hard time catching anything! I really felt at one with nature and it was a truly relaxing experience.

Nous sommes en pleine nature Dc soyons indulgents :) Aussi vu que nous sommes loin de la ville (sur une île) il faudrait faire ces courses urgentes avant d’y aller car une fois sur place ça sera difficile. C’est un bel endroit pour se déconnecter de la ville stressante et de profiter à fond de la nature :)
