Food was terrible. The portions. Nothing about this food was authentic at all, better off going to Patron Azteca for some real authentic Mexican Food. Rice was like something you’d get out of a box. Lack of flavor. Red sauce on the divorced enchiladas was disgusting. Spent over $100+. Definitely never coming here again. What a disappointment!!

Let me start by saying this review is not a poor reflection on our server, Camila. She was courteous and always had a smile, and was effective as a server. Unfortunately, the dining experience wasn’t good. Our “Quesadilla Adult” was a child-sized portion. We paid extra to add chorizo and the quesadilla ended up being extremely greasy, to the point where we couldn’t finish it. It was that bad, and the pictures below document the grease. The taste was, in a word, lacking. The tacos were ok, but not great. Prices were not commensurate with the amount of food served with each entree. While most Mexican-style restaurants will also provide free chips and salsa, that’s not the case at La Reyna. You’ll pay for those too. The chips seemed stale and weren’t fresh. The salsas were bland. The margarita tasted “off” and after reading the other reviews posted below, we discovered the bar doesn’t use actual tequila! Instead, they use a wine that they claim tastes similar to tequila. Our party consisted of three former bar tenders and needless to say, we weren’t fooled. Transparency is desperately needed and the menu or the server should have explained what was used as a tequila substitute. I’m giving our server the benefit of the doubt as I’m not sure if she knew. Finally, to top things off, there appeared to be an insect crawling on the wall just above our table, as you’ll see in the picture below. There’s too many red flags at La Reyna to ever warrant another visit. I’m not one to leave a negative review but this wasn’t a good experience. Other reviews seem generally positive, but our experience left us feeling that La Reyna missed the mark.

This is definitely a hidden gem! Must try! Delicious food and portions are great. We came on a Saturday at 1p and we had a great meal. The service was fantastic, and definitely has that authentic feel to the restaurant. I had the burrito and the sangria. Highly recommend both. Just be ready for a big portion. Noise 7/10 food 7/10 parking 4/10. Speed of food 7/10

It's a restaurant with an incredible menu, a wonderful decor, and friendly staff. Our server took good care of us throughout the meal (thanks Eric!) and the manager was walking the floor to check with customers to see how their dining experience; for me and my wife this is a big sign of how well the restaurant is run. Delicious and unique food with VERY reasonable prices. It was our first time here and it certainly won't be our last. If you've been looking for a new place to try and you like authentic Mexican food, go here now.

We found La Reyna a few weeks ago when we were going to another restaurant next door. Last night when we were figuring out where to eat, we decided to give La Reyna a try. Mexican food is something we tend to eat allot. From faster food type restaurants to more gourmet Mexican. I’d say La Reyna is more on the gourmet and authentic of the Mexican food spectrum. The highlight of the experience was the food, it was very good. Probably some of the better authentic Mexican food I have had in South Florida.They also have Mexican coke and sprite, which is kind of cool. The atmosphere is fun and lively. That being said, the service was not great. The food took a long time and didn’t all come out at the same time, we had to flag down our waitresses on several occasions. We might have to go back to give the service another chance. The food was also more expensive then I feel it should have been. The average burrito/taco, etc. is about $18.-$20. The Chips and Salsa are not included. Lemonade was $6. Guacamole was about $15. These little things add up and compared to other “better” Mexican restaurants , it was just a little pricier than what we had expected. Service issues aside ( anyone can have a bad night). La Reyna is going to deliver on good food with authentic taste. Just be prepared to pay a bit of a premium for it.

Not going to lie, I was highly skeptical that this place would be any good but we tried it anyways. On a "Taco Tuesday" no less and I'm glad to report we were pleasantly surprised! I would totally go back! and recommend you try it. On Tuesdays they offer $2.50 tacos (chicken, carnitas, cochinita pibil and rajas) First I want to start with saying that Rajas are not a typical option you find on most menus - it's definitely a wknd special or special order dish - as a vegetarian this is a great option and plus to catch on a menu! It was tasty and fantastic. The Cochinita Pibil was to die for! - the only thing I would have wanted to see more of was the pickled onion you get per taco The kids enjoyed the chicken in the red sauce & the crispy carnitas - it had very minimal to no fatty tissue. The tacos are stuffed to the brim and not skimp at all - very pleasing and appreciated. Something I would skip on ordering again would be the queso dip - even though the molcajete stays HOT, the cheese got hard - don't get me wrong we all enjoyed the quest fundido with chorizo but it would have been more manageable and enjoyable if the cheese dip was more of a dip than just melted cheese. The Charro beans were awfully expensive, they come beautifully plated and the side of beer 🍺 to add to beans is cute and gimmicky but it left too strong of a beer taste to share with the kids- they didn't enjoy the flavor and neither did I, my husband seemed not to mind at all - the beans would have been too thick and lacking that watery charro style without adding the beer. Ask for the house spicy sauces -they were both fantastic. We splurged with the churro's for dessert - we got the chocolate version and it came with vanilla ice cream, whipped cream and a few slices of fresh strawberries. The drinks were tasty as well -we ordered the Jamaica (Hibiscus) and Tamarindo (Tamarind) The service was absolutely great as well. The decor is hip and fresh and a cool place for group gatherings. Possibly the best tasting Mexican Restaurant in SW Broward with Authentic taste and options to boot! Such a pleasant find in Cooper City and we would definitely be coming back when traveling through the area! Oh the prices could be considered hefty so be prepared to spend a pretty chunk here. They are in desperate need of staff! To the point where they are turning down business because they can't keep up with the demand.

This place is more about their aesthetics than their food. The inside is nice but that doesn’t make it for me. My food was all dry, looked better than it tasted. I was also disappointed at the portion of my beans and rice for the price.

Food was delicious! I had the shrimp tacos and the portions were perfect! My michelada was very refreshing! My friends had: chicken fajitas, carnitas, and veggie tacos- all were eaten up! For dessert we had the flan dulce de leche which was ok, however the fried ice cream was SUPERB! Would give 5 stars but service was slow- only had one server and we were sorta politely scooted out right at closing time. For a taco tuesday- I guess we expected a bit more friendly and lively vibe. 🙃 Great picture spot though- nice for IG AND TikTok 😁

Today my husband and I went for a second time. We keep going back for the yummy Birria tacos. Soo good! I also tried a jalapeño and pineapple margarita on the rocks. I would definitely recommend. So glad we found this place, this is one of the most authentic Mexican restaurants we’ve been to. Take it from someone that thinks they where Mexican in my other life.

I give this place 2 starz only because the food was good and fresh. However I went there for the Birria tacos and they did not have them and did they know when they would have them. Ok I asked for a menu. Nope no menu, they tell you to scan a barcode to download the menu or go to the website which is not working properly. So I asked about any lunch specials. Nope no lunch specials only dinner's.. Again the the steak tacos and chicken burrito was good but expensive, $26. That's all I can give you all on this place.

Ordered chicken fajitas, got beef and no rice and beans, even though the menu says it’s included. Ordered kids burrito, got grilled chicken with fries. Ate half my meal before I finally got silverware. Never saw the check, but got charged the automatic 18% service charge.

Food was very good but they were all very small portions and if you wanted a little bit of guacamole or sour cream or even cheese on your tacos, it’s an extra charge for anything . The customer service was super slow eventhough there were not a lot of people in the restaurant. My biggest complaint is that they give themselves their own tip which you won’t even see unless you ask them to print out the receipt. No wonder why they don’t try so hard with the service since they choose the tip themselves. There was only 2 people in my party and we didn’t have any liquor and one of us only ordered water and we didn’t order any desserts and the bill still came out to almost $50. I am Latin and they have Good authentic Mexican food but very small portions that are very overpriced and extra charge for everything and bad slow service which they decide tip themselves. I’ll visit again because I enjoyed the food but only when I have extra money to waste and I have a lot of time to kill for the waiting times. I’ll probably go back when I get a huge salary raise because you may have to order double orders of everything to leave on a full stomach. Husband ordered a tortilla soup which was almost $12 and it was a baby portion like for a toddler. Great tasting though. Plz just give bigger portions so that we are more likely to visit more often, and please let the customers decide the tip. That’s my suggestion to management. I am a good tipper but it’s not fair the way you have it set up. This is my very honest review. I give this place 3 stars because everything tasted good. I hope to update this review when things change a bit .

we order online for pickup. When my husband arrived they told him they had ran out of one of the orders made, so he had to wait for another 30 min. When he arrived home they never packed our son's order, so we ended up paying 51 dollars for 1 entree and 1 appetizer. My husband called and left a message because they where not taking calls and we never heard back from the manager. Worst experience ever!

PROS: Nice Atmosphere, Friendly Service, Good Food & Drinks ($10 dollar margaritas, different varieties), Employees Wear Masks CONS: Service was a bit slow but tolerable, only 2 waitress on staff on a Saturday possibly due to COVID. Most Burritos on menu DO NOT have rice with the exception of one. Rice on any other Burrito can be had at an additional cost. Had to ask for iced water which was not brought to table when first seated. Overall, It was a good experience and I am likely to return.

We like a lot to go out. Last night we came to this magnificent restaurant which we didn’t know before. We passed a beautiful time there with high-qulity food and a nice crew and an impressive chief cook. We put this venue in our phone list and we will no doubt go again very soon. We deeply recommend.

We've been looking for a good, family style Mexican restaurant and we found it with La Reyna! Love the decor, the tree and the decorations! Feels like family and we were treated like family. Every order from the appetizers to the desserts was superb!! Highly recommended!!! Enjoy!

Not impressed at all! Food lacked flavor and portions were not large enough for the amount charged. We were a group of 8 mostly kids so when we left we were very surprised to see the bill was high over $300 for Mexican food! Adding more details here because couldn’t reply to owners comments. Been to Mexico and have had unbelievable authentic Mexican food several times so comment we expected fast food Mexican is not accurate. I did not think the prices reflected the food regardless of inflation circumstances when you ordered a dish in many cases didn’t come with any sides or sauces which even for authentic Mexican seems odd. Just wrote this comment to let you know about the experience you do have a very nice restaurant ambiance and decor is very quaint food just did not meet expectations.

We ate here for the first time last night. We didn't even know this place was here. It's a cute little place, but it has a wonderful atmosphere. Very Mexican. They were very busy, so it took a while to be seated, but it was definitely worth the wait. The food was absolutely fantastic. No one in our party left anything on their plates. As good as the entrees were, the star of the show was the tres leches cake for dessert. I think I would actually leave my house and go there just for that. I would definitely recommend this place if you're in the mood for Mexican food, but don't even think about missing that dessert. It is to die for.

This restaurant was so nice and clean. The fajitas were delicious. We got the endless chips and sals. My husband got the tacos so pastor and he said it was very good.

The food arrived cold the chips were small and broken the cheese is the type of cheese that you could make it home it is not authentic Mexican restaurant queso and the vegetables or frozen vegetables as well as the burrito being sopping wet and soggy and they forgot part of our order as well which was paid for and believe it or not it wasn’t even for free. Do not ever order food from here you’re better off going to Taco Bell or chipotle which is honestly in comparison to this a five-star restaurant. On top of all that we had to wait an extra 15 minutes for the food after we were already told that it would take 45 minutes for the food to be done. I ordered the nachos with carne asada which extra $ and the carne asada didn’t taste like anything. The carne asada had no flavor at all not even salt. My wife's beans and rice, well the beans looked like a pile of doo doo, except they zested it witb three chips stuck in top...don't expect any traditional dishes, really just go to Taco Bell.

Best Chinese restaurant in the cooper city area. I have tried many in the last 8 years I live here. Some prefer the one on Flamingo and Stirling but this one has the freshest vegetables in the food vs the usual overcooked ones other restaurants serve. They also have a dining room beautifully decorated and the service is very good. I enjoy both delivery and eating in the restaurant. Portions are also very big and the price is very good for the quality and size. I highly recommend it!

Amazing and authentic Thai noodle soup. We had the eponymous Hoy Ka noodle soup and loved it. Good medicine for a sore throat on a cold day. Very reasonably priced too, we paid $34 for two bowls and an appetizer with tip.

Not sure what kind of Chinese food the reviewers have eaten prior to eating here but this place is not that good. I was craving Chinese food and decided to have dinner here after reading the reviews. Now I'll will say that I’m from NJ so Chinese food might be cooked differently here, but I have been in Florida for a year and yet to find Chinese food close to what I've been eating all my life. My son and I had two bites of our food and we were done.

Very good, super yummy! It's been a while since I didn't have good authentic Mexican food. The bottomless chips and salsa are sooo good. Not your average Mexican salsas. These are a nice twist right in the middle of spicy and flavorful. Horchata is good, it is home made, the rice flower sort of threw me off a tad, but still good. I ordered for pastor tacos. These are hands down the best pastor tacos I have ever had in the US! The most authentic by miles! Highly recommend! My husband had the carnitas tacos. Not really authentic carnitas de Michoacan, but they are good in taste nevertheless. The mole enchiladas... Man the mole sauce... It is hands down the best mole I've ever had in the US too! And I've been around, trust me! The decor is beautiful, I got San Miguel de Allende - Michoacan - Guanajuato - México City vibes, everything was so beautiful! Congrats! 👌🏻

La Reyna was the perfect place for my graduation dinner. The food was absolutely DELICIOUS! The one waiter who took care of my 16 people table was nice, patient, and attentive to everyone. Visually speaking I love this restaurant’s beautiful Mexican traditional decorations. I’m looking forward to coming back soon 💕

This was the best lunch I’ve had in a long time! We had the pork tacos and the steak tacos. There are 4 in each serving and we added beans and rice. We also have the chips and salsa. It was the perfect amount of food, and I was glad to see a reasonable amount of beans and rice since sometimes you get a huge amount on the side. I can not recommend this place enough! Only wish they opened a little earlier for lunch then noon, but we’ll manage:)

The food was delicious, friendly staff wonderful atmosphere! Sergio made sure we were taken care of he came to our table and asked if we needed anything. Daniela waited on us and she was fabulous , friendly and a simile on her face all the time! They had mariachi singers and they sang beautiful! Will definitely come back and recommend dining here.

I love this restaurant! The decor is super appealing and the vibe is great! The ceviche (only on weekends) was so fresh and delicious. The chips and salsa were also very good, served in a cute platter with various sauces. The beef tacos were perfect! I love the portion sizes too, not too big and just right. Never had Sol beer until tonight. Refreshing and crisp! I loved everything. Love all the Mexican products too. Note, the spicy La Reyna sauce is incredible and super spicy 🌶️ but they charge $3.99 for the sauce and do not mention that up front. But the sauce was so good!! Expensive but tasty.

My friend and I ordered tacos, and the meat was room temperature. We sent the food back, which we don't like to do, but there's no way we were eating cold pork tacos. Out other friend ordered shrimp tacos, and the shrimp were also room temperature. We ordered Carne asada, and those were hot when they came to the table. Thats why they get 3 stars. The guacamole and chips were good.

I’m so disappointed in what this restaurant has become. What I experienced this Saturday had no name. It was so bad that I wish there was an option for a zero. As we walked in the restaurant we saw the manager and waiter arguing, very unprofessional. Nevertheless, we wanted to give it a try since we were hungry. The apps lacked flavor, the entrees tasted horrible and were cold. The drinks were sloppy and looked like they didn’t care about presentation or taste. I put my entree in a to go bag to not be rude. We’ve ate there about a year ago and I don’t remember it being like this. The only good thing was our waiter. He was very nice. However, the owner doesn’t seem friendly. Forget the workers who looked like they were in a lot of pressure, forget the cooks who probably had to sacrifice quality over quantity, and forget the customers. To the management of this place, all they cared about is money. That’s it. I paid over $100 to have to throw away the food because it wasn’t edible at all. We then went to Agave right after that. Let me tell you, I had no idea how bad their food and service was until I went to Agave and tasted some yummy drinks and entrees. La Reina needs to step up because you are loosing your regulars over being money hungry
