👍👍 Cosy vegan cafe. They had 5 different pastries when we went, we tried two (not photographed) and they were amazing! We also had the brunch komplet, which was enough for two people. The coffee was fantastic. I would recommend getting there before 10am on the weekend as it got busier after we arrived! This is by far my favourite place in Copenhagen. I go here monthly if not more. Their cakes, pastries and sandwiches are amazing, you would never guess that everything is vegan. My favourites are definitely their pastries. Especially the pain au chocolate, croissant/pastry cloud, and strawberry pastry are heavenly, and they have a great ‘cardamom snurrer’. The classic ‘cheese’ cake and jordbærtærte are delicious. They have seasonal treats which are equally great. I recently tried their sandwich with whipped butter and avocado and while that may sound plain, it was very tasty. Their coffee is of course also amazing. I recommend this place, definitely visit when in Copenhagen!

Went there with a friend. Staff is very friendly and helpful. The food was delicious! My favorite was definitely the cardamom knot. The iced chai latte was incredible and very flavorful, definitely coming back! Highly recommend the Spandauer filled with pistachio. If you go there, go at around 09:00am, when the shop just opened, the pastries were still warm

This immediately became my regular breakfast/brunch spot while in Norrebro. Everything is vegan, they have beautiful pastries, delicious savoury food and fresh juice and coffee. Service was super friendly and quick and the atmosphere was very relaxed.

What more can you say about this place other than that it’s absolutely fantastic? We were there for the first time 3 year ago and will always come back for deluxe brunch. No improvements possible!

The cheesecakes are so good ! Everything is plant based. So tasty. The cafe itself is really small inside. But cosy. Can become soon overcrowded during rush hour. You can take the cake or coffee to go also of course. Staff is available and smiling. Totally recommend it. Nice and yummy experience !

We’ve stayed for 2 weeks in Copenhagen and I would say that this and Grod are the best options available for vegans. You must try their croissants, sandwiches and macha latte.

Cute, cozy cheesecake cafe with nice drink options. We had the Christmas Cheesecake and the Passionfruit Chocolate Cheesecake. Matcha latte was very good! Super friendly service. Heads up: No laptops or tablets allowed at tables when sitting inside.

Oh my gosh! I visited Kaf upon the recommendation from a friend who insisted I try the twice baked croissant. It's a truly decadent delight. It explores all the ways crispy and crunchy intersect, followed up with a gooey buttery filling. It's 100% plant based and 100% will haunt my dreams. We also had a tea and the brunch. But nothing can compare to the almondy crunchy delight of this pastry.

Got the Komplet brunch, which was very filling. My favorite part was the avocado, which honestly had the best flavor that I've ever tasted on an avocado in my life. It had radish, salt, truffle oil, lemon oil and a few other things that I'm missing...but the combo made for a flavor bomb of savory delight. The Chai tea is also GREAT! Likely wouldn't do the brunch again, because it is a bit costly, and outside of the avocado, nothing else stood out. However, I'd go back for their desserts because they looked incredible and the prices were good.

Kaf is hands down my new favorite vegan restaurant! Not only is the food amazing, but the desserts and beverages are out of this world. On my recent visit, I tried several desserts and the matcha latte. The pecan cake was my favorite of the desserts. It was so moist and rich, with a perfect balance of nuttiness and sweetness. The frosting was smooth and velvety, and the cake was topped with a generous amount of caramelized pecans. The New York cheesecake was also fantastic - it was creamy, tangy, and had a perfect crust. The triple chocolate cake was a chocolate lover's dream come true, with layers of rich chocolate cake, silky chocolate mousse, and a decadent chocolate ganache. To accompany my desserts, I ordered the matcha latte. It was perfectly brewed and had a great balance of matcha and milk. The latte was smooth and not too sweet, which paired perfectly with the rich and decadent desserts. Overall, Kaf's desserts and beverages were some of the best I've had in a long time. They were beautifully presented, indulgent, and completely vegan. If you're a dessert lover or a fan of matcha, Kaf is a must-visit

Breathtakingly delicious vegan cheese cake!! It's rare to find something this good. We also ate the brunch, which was lovely and filling. Friendly staff and cute café, relaxing atmosphere.

Great vegan breakfast!!! Everything is vegan, so you don’t need to worry when ordering. The freshly juice (grapefruit that day) was delicious! And I highly recommend the pain au chocolate 🥰 Great start into the day!

The first thing you recognize is cozy atmosphere and very nice stuff. This was my first cofee stop in Copenhagen and I was very Pleased. The taste was full and in the end it was similar taste like chocolate. I never had anything like this, and it was amazing. The food was also pretty delicous. If you want to try something new and delicious, visit the Kaf.

Had breakfast here and generally fine. Lots of seating inside and 3 tables outside. They speak English and have items like croissants, cheesecake and sandwiches. I would come back for more but menu is limited.

We had the Kaf Deluxe breakfast. Everything was really delicious and there’s not much to add here, expect for the Nutella, which I personally didn’t like super much, everything else was delicious. I rarely don’t give five stars for vegan places (go vegan!), I just thought everything was a bit overpriced for what we got. Don’t get me wrong: I know it’s CPH and I have paid 140 danish crones for other breakfast, but this was just a bit too much for what we got. Anyway, I wanna come back for the cakes! Even if they cost almost 50 crones per piece ;D

Nice small vegan Café. The bread and the pastries are excellent. Also a nice place for brunch.

  • 5/5 Michal T. 3 years ago on Google
Delightful place. The cakes are absolutely delicious. The place is quite small and popular so on the weekends there's usually not enough room to sit inside, but don't be discouraged - there's a seating area outside (across the street).

One of the best vegan pastries and cakes in the city! Love their vegan brunch service as well. Hopefully, opening hours will get longer.

Perfect vegan cafe, best matcha brew I’ve tried! All desserts are vegan, sooo good for sweet tooth. Yogurt also nice, tastes very fresh.

Outstanding vegan cafe! Both food + coffee are excellent, a combination which you don't find often! My go-to vegan cafe in Copenhagen!

Truly delicious vegan cheesecakes! I definitely recommend it. The only disadvantage is the opening hours.

This was by far the best experience I’ve had with a vegan baked goods. The prices might scare you off, but it is so worth it. As a vegan I’m often afraid that profits will go to something I don’t support, but at Kaf I support everything 🌿❤️

First of all, if you’re looking for a cozy vegan cafe, this one is perfect choice. They have large amount of different cakes and they have tasty sourdough sandwiches, also I enjoyed a juicy batch brew. I definitely would recommend you this place!

One of the few vegan spots in Copenhagen! Beyond lovely and delicious, super nice staff and very cozy environment. I had the best brunch over there, with sourdough bread and vegan croissant and butter 🤤🤤 totally recommend it

This is the cutest little cafe in Copenhagen. Their food is delicious, the staff is very nice and they have many plant-based options! There is seating inside and outside and the food comes out quickly. This cafe creates a very hygge atmosphere. Don't go to Copenhagen without visiting this place.

The pecan cheesecake and the pumpkin spice croissant looked better than they tasted. The cheesecake was very plain in taste. The croissant itself was good as was the coffee flavoured whipped cream on top, however wasn’t a fan of the pumpkin sauce filling. The homemade chai is on the spicy side and the latte was as expected. The café is on the pricier side, but good vibe and a lot of outside space to sit at.

Speechless! The croissant was as fluffy as it gets and super delicious. If you go there try the chai (best one I ever had) and the komplet deluxe breakfast. I was twice there because it was just aaamazing! :)

100% plant based. Short 10-15min bus ride from the centre. Prices are what to be expected in Denmark. We got the “Complete Deluxe” brunch and both left stuffed. Too stuffed to try any of the amazing looking cakes and pastries. We did grab two sourdough sandwiches for the day (which were amazing). Came back a day later and had an assortment of pastries. Would absolutely recommend all of it. Will absolutely be booking a hotel closer to this gem next time.

The best vegan cakes in town! It was totally full when I came, but the cakes were worth it. You would not say that they are vegan!

🫤 The food was tastless, and very expensive. I ate the toastadas and it tasted like the used santa maria taco mix. Tried some of the bruger, it was boring. The lasagna tasted like frozen store bought. The staff was very nice and the location and decoration is also very good.
