The hotel is substandard. Starting with how they charge their customers. They give you a rate that is not the actual rate. The rate is based on the OCCUPANCY. What client is going to know the exact occupancy of the hotel? Are we suppose to check on a daily basis to see what the occupancy is for the basis of payment? My rate was 341.81 per night. I had to prepay this prior to my visit. I was to stay for three nights. The following nights I had to pay 398.31 and then 420.91. It was explained to me that because the occupancy was high the charges went up. The occupancy was not high in that it was the low season in Miami with heat and humidity. My final bill came to over 1300.00 after the downpayment of 341.81. This hotel takes your credit card upon check in and charges what they want. This will be the last time I stay there. Let me say that it is not simply about the money but the dishonest nature of the charges and how the hotel hides this from their clients.

The property was amazing and the pool was awesome! Largest hotel pool in the continental US I believe! Overall it was an amazing experience, the staff and everyone were very friendly and professional and the room was great and the beds were so comfy. If you like a lot of pillows in your bed, this was perfect. This is definitely a must stay kind of place, the history of the place is cool to read about and it’s just incredibly gorgeous! It is a bit pricey especially for a weekend stay for your average person so this could be considered a treat yourself place when you want to feel a bit fancy. Room was amazing, we could bring a dog (pet deposit fee is $500 though) and overall, we enjoyed our stay here and would love to come back again! If you want to do brunch there, that is a bit pricey, at $120, and you also must get reservations early, it does fill up.

My stay at the Biltmore hotel was wonderful , the place is absolutely beautiful . The lobby welcomes you with cathedral ceilings, giant columns, that remind you of the castles in Europe . We stayed at the junior golf suite, not only did it have old world charm , the golf & pool view from the balcony was spectacular. Our room was just perfect for celebrating our 25th wedding anniversary!! My husband & I dine by the pool .had dessert & cocktails later relaxing by the pool. The staff was welcoming ,attentive & super friendly. I look forward to staying at the Biltmore again, thank you for a wonderful stay.

You need that feeling of being among the elite with a taste of history? You were wondering were the rich folks in the gables were enjoying their brunches? Well this is the place for you, especially if you love unlimited mimosas, seafood and deserts with your breakfast spread. Not just shrimp but lobster and crab all nicely cracked for you to enjoy your seafood crack. The Biltmore is an old army hospital renovated into a classy hotel. You can feel the history as you sit in the atrium outside having your mimosa and wondering how many wounded troops came through this mansion of a building. The dining spread is fantastic and the deserts were amazing, we left in pain from over eating and knowing our bank account took a blow. At the end of the day a great gem for a special occasion brunch. Make sure you explore after you eat and go upstairs to the lobby and the mezzanine outside. Come dressed nice and you can get some amazing pics. So grab your credit card and you upscale attire and check out this amazing brunch spot, just be ready to do some spending, because it’s the Biltmore baby $$$.

I have no idea why these reviews are so high. It was JUST OK...the staff were all miserable and clearly did not want to be there. Go ahead and call the place to ask questions, guarantee you will get someone who barely speaks to you. Brunch was terrible dont waste your money. Dinner was actually quite good. The chef came to table and the service was lovely. The room was clean. The pool had 1/2 the seats it needed and the drink place at the pool was dirty and disgusting. I am not sure how this hotel gets high reviews. It is actually baffling to me. We wont go back and would not recommend to others. Stay at a Best Western they are comparable.

Fantastic historic hotel in Miami Coral Gables! I was here for business and didn’t really have time to venture around the hotel, though. There’s some great restaurants, shops, bars, etc all for your needs. The pool was glorious and huge, surrounded by statues and trees. I wish I had more time here!! My room had plenty of space and was nicely decorated. My only complaint is the bathroom. There needs to be maybe one more place to put your toiletries. And there was lots of water noise from the shower but my shower wasn’t on. Might want to check for leaks inside the walls. But for being such an old hotel it was in impeccable shape. The service was fantastic, everyone was always smiling and friendly. And I loved the addition of the bird cages and afternoon tea. Would most definitely stay here again!

We stayed here and got dressed here with my son's entire wedding party. The bride had the Everglades Suite which was so beyond anything we expected! It was like staying in King Arthur's court! My son had the Tower suite which was beautiful with amazing views. The rest of us had single rooms. The decor and detail in each room is beautiful...rich fabrics, sumptuous pillows, attention to detail. But the service was even better. Anything that we forgot was delivered within minutes. The concierge went out of his way to help us store things and get things even though it was a very busy weekend for them. We ate at Cascades, the Sunday after the wedding and they went above and beyond to accommodate our group...and the food was great! Can't say enough about the bellman...super friendly, very helpful! All in all, a great experience and a place where every detail and accommodation has been thought of so carefully! Truly a treasure!

We attended a wedding at this beautiful hotel. The hotel was amazing it was old but historic. So much history at this hotel which was very cool. Everything there made you feel like you were experiencing a event from the 20's. As for attention the wedding it was also a great experience, as a groomsmen we had are own room to get ready in and they were very attentive to our needs. The food was great and the room we had was amazing and historic and you could walk right outside to a huge I mean massive lighted pool. This hotel is a most visit, next time I will have to get a room.

This place is just SPECIAL! I traveled from San Diego, California and decided to book a night here, not knowing anything about it. WOW! It's magical! I loved everything about this place! I jumped in the pool for the first time in decades and swam by myself, knowing this is a hundred year old pool with so much history. The customer service was excellent. The Sunday brunch was THE BEST I'VE EVER HAD! And my room was so beautiful with the best espresso machine! I can't say enough about how beautiful the Biltmore is and the neighborhood surrounding it!

This historic hotel has a beautiful building with grandeur and fantastic amenities. The pool area is large, it has a restaurant, lots of deck chairs and cabanas that offer great comfort and privacy. I would recommend cabana 1 in particular as it is the most spacious, offers the greatest degree of privacy and is closest to the hotel. You get a complimentary charcuterie board and bottle of sparkling wine (the waiter claimed champagne but alas). The food is average. There are tennis courts but these are state owned and oddly close at around 1pm. I highly recommend this place, especially for its close proximity to Miami airport.

Rich history!! We didn’t actually status hotel, we just drove by and went inside! We took ourselves on a little tour of the grounds and it was absolutely exquisite! The hotel is beautiful and grand and towards the back of The hotel is an open outdoor deck where I’m sure they host grand and marvelous parties and events. And while standing on that back deck you can look out over the golf course as well as over the pool. The colors of this hotel and the beautiful plants that grow around it just make it such a picture perfect moment! I definitely plan to go back and stay at those hotel just to experience at all! The price per night seems to be very reasonable from what I saw online.

Fabulous hotel! We stayed over New Year's, when the hotel was sold out and two weddings were going on, so were expecting hassles and crowds. Instead, everything went smoothly and service was exceptional. This hotel is more charming and gorgeous in person than the photos (and the photos are extremely impressive). The pool was lovely and didn't have that awful packed feeling that other big resorts have. Would love to go back and stay longer.

Superb experience in a beautiful historic property! We drove out here for the Sunday Brunch while staying in Miami Beach last year, and were so impressed with it then that we decided to stay here this year for one night following our flight out before we drove down to the Keys. We took a red-eye flight out and arrived at the hotel around 7:45am, fully intending to just check our bags at the front desk and wander around until our cabana became available at 10am. You can imagine our surprise when at 7:45am, they told us they had a room ready and we could actually check in! After little sleep on the overnight flight, it was so amazing to be able to go straight to our junior suite and lay down for a couple hours before going to the pool. The cabana experience was also very enjoyable. The price was extremely reasonable (about half the cost of the average cabana in Miami Beach), and our attendant (unfortunately I don't remember his name) was very courteous and checked on us often without being obtrusive. By afternoon it had warmed up enough to go in the pool, which is gigantic and beautiful. Even if a lot of other people are there, it doesn't feel crowded thanks to it's sheer size. Also love the grand lobby area (and the mini aviary with the little finches was a delight for this bird enthusiast!). Overall we had an amazing time...wish we would have spent more time here and less in the Keys. Thank you to all staff who made our stay memorable!

A true old school gem of a hotel, with the biggest pool at any Hotel in North America. Pictures just don't do the thing justice. You could run a jet ski in the thing if you really wanted to. Pool side drink service is pricy, but about what you expect for Miami. Rooms are the well appointed luxury you expect from a hotel like this, with a comfortable bed using nice sheets. Sadly I almost had to knock a star off for their lack of accommodation for motorcycles. There is plenty of space to allow a bikes a spot near the Valet entrance, but they make you self park and walk. For a hotel of this service level, that's just not what you want to do. Edit: Thanks for the reply! Also, the hotel has cute little birds in the lobby that really add a nice touch to an already beautiful room.

Having stayed at the Biltmore a few times before, it was my favourite hotel for a long time. However, it barely seems the same place. Yes the building is still beautiful and the pool is lovely but it is just not the same now. Service is not good, furnishings look tired, Brunch food was really bad, kept on hold calling spa for 10 minutes so eventually just gave up. Ordered room Service and told 45 minutes but still had not come in 85 minutes so cancelled it and jumped in the car instead. Pool chairs and towels very tatty, room fixtures broken and tired. I don't know what has happened, maybe new management or cutting costs to recoup covid losses but this is NOT a $400 a night level hotel anymore. I truly hope they can fix what has gone wrong because I wouldn't return again to experience a similar stay. My only positive was the very friendly lady in the hotel shop who helped my husband pick out a cigar.

We stayed at The Biltmore for a few days and it really was a wonderful stay! This is a beautiful, old, majestic hotel with a lot of history and while maybe not as luxurious as some more modern hotels, it is a very special place and has an old world charm that is really warm and comfortable. The service is great and the setting is beautiful, especially when the hotel is all decorated for Christmas. My daughter was in awe of the huge, real gingerbread house in the hotel lobby! The food is pretty good in the restaurants and the coffee shop downstairs serves great coffee and pastries for snacking anytime. The rooms are quite nice and we were upgraded to a suite after asking to change to a room with two double beds. That was really a pleasant surprise! Overall, we had a great stay and would absolutely return the next time we want to stay in Coral Gables!

We had a wonderful stay. The staff was incredible, especially the pool and restaurant staff. Our junior suite with a pool view was large, comfortable, and well decorated. Gym, pool, sauna was clean and a pleasure to use. Only improvement would be the shower in our room, which was out of place compared to the rest of the hotel.

A very nice setting, wonderful place really, founded in 1925 and we'll maintained. Food is amazing, service is top level. Great setting for wedding or romantic getaway. Business settings and plenty of rooms for meetings

Extremely dissatisfied with the service, the food quality and prices. $35 for a caviar platter? More like a sample platter! We ordered salt and pepper as well as melted butter and it took the waiters a really long time to come back. Whenever we wanted to order something no waiters seemed to be around or available. For a brunch at the “grand Biltmore” we thought we would have received better quality of service and meal but everything was sub-par, cold, and very small portions for the price they are requesting. The ambiance is beautiful, i really enjoyed the solo guitar in the patio but I wouldn’t come back for the food.

Came and had afternoon tea with a great friend! We arrived early and sat right in front of the harp player. She was amazing! The food was divine and the service out of this world! I can't wait to go again.

The Biltmore is not what it used to be. So sad as it was incredible and one that I used to tell my friends to visit, especially Sunday Brunch. Don't know it if they have new management but our 4 night stay has been appalling. Staff have been very rude, as if they genuinely do not care about their guests. Sunday brunch used to be the stuff of legends. Food was awful (seafood platter made me sick), had to ask repeatedly for drinks to be filled up. No longer the full buffet - just the breakfast buffet and a choice of 2 main meals. Waited 1.5 hours for room service to then give up. Couldn't get through to anyone at the spa and they don't fulfil call backs. Hotel is beautiful but standards have dropped significantly. Won't be coming back here

What s great hotel. It isn't the newest place but wow what a beautiful property. The employees were very attentive and took excellent care of us while we stayed there. I would stay there again in a great beat. Thank you for the wonderful accommodations.

My husband and I come to Miami from time to time to visit family. We’re natives but have been living in Colorado for the past 7 years and not only has the Biltmore been the best hotel we’ve stayed at in the 305, but the brunch buffet and the service has by far surpassed any of the other 4 star hotels we’ve had the pleasure of staying at. Alba and Ileana at the buffet were so sweet and attentive, they made it a point to make my husband’s 40th birthday one of the best he’s ever had and we’ve agreed that the Biltmore is the only hotel we will stay at in Miami going forward. 5 stars all the way. Can’t wait for our next trip to Miami.

I loved my stay at this hotel!! Everything about it was top notch for me.I stayed for a very special birthday by myself. The staff was so nice and they upgraded my room to a suite with a balcony where I could watch the sunset and they even sent a bottle of wine to my room. It is an older historic hotel with old world charm.

i ate at the cafe by the pool and had a lunch that was rendered inedible by the sheer volume of red and Sriracha peppers in it. I have a hard time understanding why the chef needs to burn out your taste buds in order to provide what could otherwise be a tasty meal. I ordered something else which also had Cayenne pepper in it, I would think that a chef might want to bring out the flavor in the food rather than masking it with hot peppers. This demonstrates a true lack of creativity.

This hotel is Gorgeous and special, amazing food, beautiful rooms, comfortable beds. The in progress construction of a holiday display in the lobby, though a special addition for the holidays, was a disruptive and at times abruptly alarmingly loud endeavor which detracted from the quality of the experience and ability to enjoy the space.

I had family come in from New York over the summer and I booked this hotel for them. When I say hands down one of the best! I'm serious. The rooms were clean and provided more than a picture could ever do it justice. My family stayed there for almost a week before they took the last 2 days of the stay and stayed at my home. I will book this location again when they come down to visit.

Had a business brunch on Sunday which what it's famous for. Needless to say impressive all-you-can eat spread: starting from Japanese sushi, Italian cuisine, steak and even black caviar. Not cheap, about $200 pp with drinks, but good service and well prepared food.

Amazing hotel with old world luxury the likes I haven't seen since I watched titanic. I really liked the deco and superb service. They are also pet friendly. The restaurant was also amazing for service and quality of food. Only negative would be rather rude front desk staff at check in and the free bottles of spring water they give out taste terrible. So bad our pet wouldn't even drink it.

I was there this Saturday for The Pedro Pan Gala and it was a wonderful event. The event space was great the servers were excellent. Special thanks to Mr. Javier Rodriguez who was our server he was awesome, great with our table and gave us special attention. Absolutely excited to return again soon.

Really nice hotel. Location was quiet and really pretty. They have a golf course and a very large swimming pool that had a lot of lounge chairs. The rooms were comfortable. The only problem was that we had to ask for a kettle, plates, knifes and forks, etc.. It is also 8 minutes away from the university of Miami. In sum, great place.

The suite was spacious and spotless. Great vibe in this hotel. We are @truetanmiami, a spray tan studio in Coral Gables and we visited the hotel to perform a mobile tan for a client, we loved the area! Wish we weren’t just passing through! Thank you! Highly recommend it!

Our stay was great! Rooms were very nice and clean. Food and service was great! Only complaint would be the outside of the hotel is very much in need of restoration to the wood areas of the hotel and power washing and paint to many areas of the hotel. This is very much needed! Hopefully it is on the books to be done. If not it’s just going to deteriorate more and get much worse. Which would make the outside not desirable to look at while on vacation.

This hotel is really a masterpiece, with a great and really magnificent swimming pool (maybe too many sunbeds) , efficient concierge service Rooms are nice, little bit old fashion but in line with the building . The only negative note is regarding food : i had only one dinner and the food was real of medium-low quality and also the breakfast (60 $ ) on my first day was really ordinary vs this high rate : so i tested both one time and then i went always out . A suggestion could be also considering the space add another restaurant also considering that we are not near a commercial area . There is a boulangerie inside with prices totally " crazy"

This is a clear resort hotel. The rooms were immaculate and adorned with beautiful decorations. Spacious and comfortable, clean and functioning. As part of the business trip I was on, it was all buffet meals, but even those were very well executed, so I would have huge expectations for individual meal experiences. And the gym is outstanding. It's expensive of course. But if you want to stay in Coral gables and want to feel pampered at whatever cost, I highly recommend this.

Location and building are beautiful. Pool is massive and is very nice. Rooms are tidy, spacious and beautifully decorated. The Views from the rooms are great and you can see stretches of green trees and Miami’s skyscrapers. Staff are very kind and welcoming and make you feel special. Tennis courts are very easy to get to and the courts are free. Gym is very large and has great equipment. Overall a luxurious and excellent stay at the Biltmore hotel

The Biltmore Hotel is among the most romantic and quintessential wedding venues in Miami. Its incredible views and extensive amenities, paired with its talented and accommodating staff, make the experience luxurious from beginning to end. As a destination wedding planner based in Miami, I cannot recommend this hotel enough. Whether you are considering spending your wedding weekend enjoying a golden hour rehearsal cocktail gathering or relaxing by the pool after your Sunday brunch, there is no going wrong. For getting-ready photos with your bridesmaids and/or groomsmen, the hotel suites' traditional and clean design make for a perfect backdrop. Especially if you are planning your ceremony and/or reception in the hotel's famous spots (the CC Courtyard, Back Lawn, SW Terrace, Golf Fountain, or any of the picturesque and spacious ballrooms), you and your guests will feel transported and fully immersed in a daydream through and through. Upon arrival, you and your guests will be met by the romantic Spanish-inspired architecture, intricate interior design, and tropical greenery surrounding and enhancing the grounds. As though that wasn't enough, the food and beverages on property are I can speak for the majority of wedding vendors when I say The Biltmore Hotel is one of the top 3 gems the city has to offer.

Great service beautiful, suite. The room was very spacious and comfortable with a wonderful sitting area and a beautiful view of the pool and grounds. The staff was very kind and hospitable. The only negative remark is that the pillows were flat and hard. I called room service and in less than five minutes they provided lovely feather pillows 😊

Such a charming historic hotel! My room was gorgeous with so many elegant features. However, my terrace furniture was covered in mold with non-functioning awnings. Also, It's time to update the bathroom which was severely chipped up & moldy. Service definitely fell short of expectations. It took about 45 minutes to check-in at the front desk. I had to ask about parking 3x & about luggage protocols 2x. We went to lunch in the Fontana with a lovely courtyard table. However, it took 60 minutes just to get our drinks & salads. I appreciated the AMEX room upgrade and the early check-in. The grounds are gorgeous but it's time to update the room features & hire more staff.

Historical, traditionally styled luxury hotel. Great history and beautiful buildings and grounds. However, room had issues. Found previous guests underwear in closet. Phone didn't work. No hot water for 12 hours. Tons of staff but many seemed disengaged. Slow service in restaurants. I don't golf but facilities look amazing. Attended with a conference but likely would not return on own with family. Seemed a bit stuffy, huge pool but many seniors in pool discouraged kids from having fun. All cabanas were empty, so telling sign.
