The first evening we walked around the cathedral. It was quite strange that there weren't many tourists in the area, until we got here. This area is bustling with life. Good hotels around the square. All the streets leading to it are intertwined with leading fashion stores and tourists thirsty for shopping. In the evening, here you will find the main activity of the young people, pubs and good restaurants. Here you will also find a place to purchase a local cell phone card

Nice spacious "modern" plaza, that's very different from the Islamic Quarter. It feels almost like the Eixample district in Barcelona. Cafes, and restaurants all around as well as the mandatory statue of some guy on horseback, plopped down in the middle of the place.

Vibrant square in the center of Cordoba great for kids and adults. The heart of for city. Plenty of shopping and dining options available. We were lucky that when we visited they had a flamenco show in the middle of the plaza. So lovely.

So different from the old district of Cordoba. No Mesquita, no narrow streets, no Patios...Just a modern district like Barcelona or Madrid. Didn't really like it and not why I came that far to Cordoba, but then, on the other hand, plenty of restaurants, coffee, bars and stores for some shopping. As usual, probably more beautiful at night.

A lovely Spanish plaza surrounded by restaurants and bars. In the centre shade is provided by trees and there are a number of water features. I would recommend visiting here in the evening for some food or drink or both!

One of the lovliest squares in all of Spain. Beautiful, and despite busslin people it is still peaceful. Surrounded by hotels, store, great cafes and several magnificent roof-terraces. Statues, water plays and nicely shading trees. Sure if you have seen it and been there a while the wow factor goes away, and its not very big.

This is probably the largest of the plazas. There are quite a few restaurants serving typical local foods. I stopped by for a tea and tried arujo for the first time. Although it's more of a typical northern drink, you can find it at most bars throughout Spain. There were also several vendors selling holiday goods around the plaza.

"The Plaza de las Tendillas is located in the city of Córdoba ( Spain ), in the vicinity of the ancient Roman forum of the Cordoba city. Its name comes from the small shops that were housed by the Order of Calatrava since the 14th century. The current dimensions of the square were given after the demolition of the Hotel Suizo in 1923, uniting the main commercial avenues such as Cruz Conde , Claudio Marcelo and Gondomar streets, and the construction of most of the current buildings occurred in that decade."

Beautiful plaza; commercial center, restaurants, outdoor cafes, events in the center… a people watching place. Walking distance to the historical area.

A beautiful city square that is surrounded by shopping and dining. It's a nice place to have a break from the old city Cordoba.

I only had a look at the Plaza and the equestrian statue surrounded by everso-slightly anodyne buildings. The whole is a nice setting for the impressive figure on horseback, if the mildly classical and Moorish hints in the .odern buildings are too light to make much of.

We decided to take a break around Plaza de las Tendillas. We expected a bit more atmosphere, but could be related to the time of our visit (end of the afternoon). Maybe a must-see visit at night, but not necessarily a big reason to visit Cordoba in our opinion.

It is a beautiful square to sit and relax. There is a clock with music but it seems to me it doesn't work. Shopping area around.

A lovely square with stores in the side streets like zara, stradivarius etc. It has a lovely fountain and water spouts which kids run through. A great place to have a drink or a tapa, it has bars right next to it like gran bar. It has shade so it's brilliamt in the heat.

Plaza de las Tendillas is a must visit. It's very active square with a lot of Café-Bars and restaurants. It's also good for shopping. 5min walking from there you can visit "El templo romano" and the "plaza de la corredera".

Center of Córdoba, a lot of people and a lot of stores. Is a very nice walk to this plaza, plus from there you can visit many other parts of Córdoba. Now during the holidays is extra spacial because the of the lights.

A beautiful square with many architecturally magnificent buildings. The fountain and evening lights make this a great place to just walk around or sit and watch.

Lovely place, great atmosphere at all times of the day and night. Good for tapas and a slow drink away from the churn and tourist, day trip focused places. Well worth wandering over to this plaza for a slow drink and some tapas.
