Was very disappointed in my poke bowl today so much dressing almost Inedible. I returned to the shop and asked could I buy a cup of plain rice to absorb the extra dressing but I was rudely told no in a snotty way by the women working at 3pm this afternoon. Very disappointing considering how expensive the bowels are.

I had the salmon poke bowl. It was very good and tasty. €10.50 for a small bowl (served me 2 meals). Good proportion of each Ingredient. The woman who served me was very nice and friendly.

Not great and overpriced. I would not consider this authentic sushi by any means and the fish really isn't very fresh. Not worth it.

Used to get food from here frequently. But been away for quite a while and not been in over a year. Price is disgracefully high. €34 for two poke bowls!!! Last time I ordered it was about €8 a bowl. 90% rice and a couple of toppings. Sit down restaurant with table service maybe pay that, but not served in a cardboard bowl. This is pure greed on the pricing, plain and simple.

Loved the salmon poke rolls the most. The spicy tuna was good, would love to try the others when I get a chance. Really friendly staff too. No seating though so reccomend to find a spot where you plan on eating it before buying

Very disappointing. Not only did they increase their price (we know, cost crisis, etc.) but for a bigger price the portions are getting smaller... Getting it regularly as very tasty but the inconsistency is baffling. Depending on who is serving you, you might get something fair - or (most of the time) you'll get tiny bits of each ingredients and below a big chunk of rice to make it appear more sizeable. Been going there for a long time, it was not that way before.

Used to love this place but I can’t justify going here anymore because of the price increase. We all know the prices of everything have gone up but a poke bowl is €17 now😢 for the portion size it’s just not worth it. Very disappointing

Terrible terrible experience. I generally don’t write bad reviews but for the price and terrible service this one deserves it. Food has gone up annoyingly expensive and portion have gone way smaller. A poke bowl cost me 17€ and I got 3 prawns in it and a big portion of rice to cover up the lack of actual ingredients in it. I paid and left and the lady there came running after me saying my payment didn’t go through. I saw the machine say approved so I checked my bank account and showed them the payment DID GO THROUGH. Still she kept questioning me even though she can see it was approved on her side but she just didn’t believe that it was my payment(note - there was no one behind me) - I don’t think this would have been the case if it was someone else considering I am brown. Their poke bowl is amazing but Would never go back and recommend no one to go back only because of the price and portion size and their slight touch of racism.

I went there a few months ago for a poke bowl. The girl was super nice and offered to save me some food for later to make sure the food was fresh when I came to get the poke since I had to do some shopping in town first. Good food, great service. Very happy.

I love this poke but in deliveroo we can't choose the toppings by ourselfs just buy the option already prepared, already done. I would like to don't need to go there to create my own poke.

Just been few years in cork, but nothing beats this sushi so far

Love love love! ❤️♥️❤️👌 Also one idea: when ordering from Deliveroo, you cannot pick the ingredients and pick one from the already designed poke bowls. It would be totally excellent if there was a list of components so you could create your own poke bowl. E.g.: choose rice/salad, choose protein (salmon, tuna, chicken, crab, etc), choose fruit and veggies (mango cubes, seaweed salad, avocado…) and the garnish. It’s true that you can pick the base (rice or salad and garnishes) but I would love to design my own poke bowl and try some different combinations every time I would be ordering:) However, I love your food and thank you so much for making it so extraordinary. After five years in Cork I finally found a place which I call my sushi home.

OMG best bowls ever! Very fresh, tasty ingredients. Excellent service and friendly. We came from Rosslare to spend the day in Cork city, would come back again just to eat here!

Sushi is a 10 but today it was delivered without soya sauce, wasabi or chopsticks :(

I had a poke bowl from this restaurant for 8,50 and 2 years later it is 12,50€. It was delicious. However, I can only give this restaurant 3 out of 5 stars due to the steep price increase that doesn't seem justified, even considering inflation. The tasty food is great, but the cost is a bit too high in my opinion.

I was looking for good Japanese food in Cork. And I can tell you it is the only place. Loved the makis with spicy beef and salmon/beans.

Came back twice in a week for the ahi tuna bowl filled with cold sushi rice, mango, seaweed, avocado, edamame and tuna! It’s super tasty especially with the ponzu dressing and the spicy chilli peanut oil. I cannot get enough of it! There’s a vegan tofu option but I think it doesn’t taste as good - may be better if they can marinate the tofu to give it more flavour. Rolls are also available but I prefer the bowls! No seating available but you can have it at Bishop Park 3 mins walk away.

One of the best sushi in Cork! Quick service, delicious rolls (especially Salmon Poke and Smoked Salmon) and it’s all very reasonably priced so it’s good quality food for every pocket. Could not recommend more ❤️
